Excellent selection of high-end firearms and other adjunct accessories -- such as optics. Selection of rifles and pistols: top brands, most of the popular rifle models (bolt-action and auto-loading). Very nice selection of auto-loading pistols (don't recall that they had any derringers or revolvers). For those who want top-quality of rifles, they have a wide selection of Christensen Arms, which are carbon-fiber wrapped barrels and ultralight chassis --- making the rifle extremely light but equally accurate (all sub-MOA). I've purchased three different Christensen rifles here.
There's a very good selection of ammunition for both pistol and rifle, everything from loads, self-defense, hunting, and accuracy loads.
There are several areas on the floor that have spare parts; cleaning supplies; and loading equipment. Good selection from what I saw.
There's a wealth of the paraphernalia associated with firearms, such as eye and ear protection, weapon lights, suppressors, holsters, etc.
I don't recall whether or not they carry different shotguns and ammunition of hunting with them as I wasn't in the market for that class of firearm.
For a relatively small store, they carry an excellent, broad selection of arms and ammunition.
What distinguishes the store from others is their service. Those people I've talked with are very knowledgeable and experienced: unlike the big stores that carry very narrow ranges of select firearms such as the Big Three (Sportsmen's Warehouse, Cabela's, and Bass Pro Shops), these people are not counter clerks that have very little knowledge about firearms. They know their stuff. And, I might add, when I've asked a question they didn't know the answer to, everyone one of them has responded "I don't know." Yanno how sweet that is to hear? No BRAVO SIERRA. Unlike my experience at Sportsmen's Warehouse, they won't give you a misleading answer that is total BS. You won't stand around for hours waiting for someone to help you like at the Big Three. What's more important: these people like their jobs -- want to be there -- and like helping people, no matter whether they are novices or very experienced.
This has become one of my favorite stores, even though I have to drive two hours to get there. It's worth the trip! read more
