I have been nothing but impressed by the people here. It's been several months since I've been here and after walking in, was greeted by a number of employees, most asking how things are, doing anything interesting... Excellent customer service. read more

I recently had the RareBreed FRT flat trigger professionally installed on my B&T APC9K Glock lower by the team at East Valley Tactical, and the results are outstanding. The installation was executed flawlessly--precise, clean, and perfectly tuned for reliable performance. Huge thanks to East Valley Tactical for their exceptional service and expertise; they truly delivered top-tier workmanship on this specialized upgrade. The FRT has transformed the handling, delivering rapid semi-auto fire that's incredibly responsive. It took some getting used to (and yes, a bit more practice to manage the recoil and stay on target), but even in my initial sessions, I was able to connect with the target consistently once dialed in. My friends are already joking that I need to 'gain some weight' to better control the pushback--definitely a fun challenge ahead! East Valley Tactical's attention to detail and customer-focused approach made the whole process seamless. Highly recommend them for any B&T modifications, NFA work, or custom trigger installs. Professional, knowledgeable, and worth every penny. Thank you again! read more

I have been doing business here for many years. When the new owner took over, I thought I would lose the personal experience I got before. I figured I would find a shop closer to me. (I live in N Phx) I was 100% wrong. He goes above and beyond. More than once he has even taken care of me from home. They go above and beyond, and make it worth the drive. They answer questions and call back in a very timely manner. They will help you find, whatever it is you need. I continue to refer them to every one I meet when they ask where to go. I choose to drive across town, for the best service in Arizona. You should too. And remember be courteous to others, shoot suppressed. read more

East Valley Tactical - Mr Silencer - Genesis 12 supressed sbs, bought at EVT - Guns & Ammo Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

Purchased a few items for my rifle from these guys and had them installed same day each time. The Gunsmith is very quick and knowledgeable. The selection is very nice with a bunch of high end items and the staff knows their stuff. I ran into a few very strange issues with my rifle and the manager was still very kind, and helped work with me even though they could not fully verify the issue themselves! (Extremely strange failures with my rifle). Despite that, they took care of me and we came to a great resolution. My rifle is now running great. Shoutout to the manager and the rest of the staff. The customer support in the shop is amazing! They also respond quickly to texts. read more

I went to East Valley Tactical/Mr. Silencer because I had heard good things about them. Though I had frequently shopped at other gun shops in the valley that I would say were good shops, my experience at East Valley Tactical stood out. East Valley Tactical is one of the best gun shops in the state. They have a very talented staff who are well-versed in gun knowledge, highly customer service-oriented, and carry premier brands in firearms, such as LMT, Daniel Defense, Staccatco,Noveske, and B &T, just to name a few. If you're interested in entry-level firearms, they have you covered as well. If you are interested in suppressors, they have one of the largest selections of cans on hand. They have many optics to choose from, and I learned that they will price match with Optics Planet. So instead of waiting for the delivery of an optic, find one online and go see it in person. In addition to having parts for builds, they offer a wide range of services, ranging from cerakoting and Machining (slide cutting, barrel thread, pin and weld, etc) Overall, if you are in the market for something high-end or if you are a first-time shooter, go and check out the shop. You will not be disappointed. Also, Shout out to Eric and Marley. Great guys! They make you feel welcomed with each visit. read more

#sixstampsaturday! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! If you're new to suppressors, on the fence on getting the process started, or been buying cans for awhile - I highly recommend East Valley Tactical. HUGE shout out to Eric (owner), Austyn (Sales), Jared (Gunsmith), and James (manager). A stand up, solid team! I was coming back from deployment, emailed the company in the blind asking about military discounts and help picking out my cans, within 20 minutes I get a call and it's East Valley Tactical, the guy (who later I found out it was Eric, the owner himself. He walked me through the whole process, was patient, answered all of my questions (and I had a bunch, this would be my first time ever doing a Form 4). I ended up buying 6 cans (3 that day, and the rest over the next few days)! Once I was actually home, I drive in, Austyn helped me with all the paperwork, and 9 days later - I'm picking them up! #sixstampsaturday! Try and beat that! Austyn again helped me out big time, getting me all of the mounting options (hubs, pistons, muzzle devices, etc). I even brought in my Geissele Super Duty that I couldn't get my FRT to work, their gunsmith Jared not only installed all of my cans, but he fixed my FRT issue and let me tell you, that thing rips! James was extremely knowledgeable and even helped me out with some other accessories and even threw in a gift. They recommended local places to shoot (I'm new to the area), basically rock solid customer service all around. Check these guys out, yes it can get busy - especially on a weekend - it's no wonder, they are the best in the Sourthwest, hands down. read more

Stellar business. I've bought multiple suppressors from these guys. Their advice and support is excellent every time. They help handle the tax stamp paperwork faster than any other local shop I've used. They also have a good supply of high-quality AR parts. Eric and the team is very easy to work with and they can help you make the correct choices and get you in and out with some diligence.

This is hands-down, the best NFA and gun store in the state of Arizona. These guys are so professional so helpful and they make buying a suppressor as easy as it can get. I purchased two suppressors through these guys and it could not have been easier I would never even consider going anywhere else for any of my firearm needs read more

East Valley Tactical and Eric Anderson are incredible! I met Eric at the CANCON event and asked him for a specific rifle part to pair with my suppressor. He didn't have it but called another local shop to try and find it for me. Unfortunately, no luck there either. Determined to find a solution, I later stopped by their Mesa shop, where they suggested an alternative using a Plan B device. This approach seemed perfect, so I purchased the part and went home to install it. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the wrong part. The shop was closed, and I had plans to shoot early the next morning. When I texted their shop, Eric replied almost instantly. Despite it being late, he said he could meet me at the shop after dinner with his family. Who does that these days? Eric met me at the shop to exchange the part, and I thought the issue was solved. However, I realized later that while the new part worked for other guns, it didn't fix the problem for the one I really wanted to use. I texted Eric again, and he called me back to troubleshoot. He identified the exact part I needed and, despite having already left the shop, returned yet again to help me--this time at 9:30 PM! Eric's dedication to his customers is unmatched. He went above and beyond--not once, but twice--to make sure I had what I needed. If you're looking for top-tier customer service and expertise, East Valley Tactical is the place to go. Eric, aka "Mr. Silencer," has earned a lifelong customer in me. Thank you for everything! read more

No pressure, no sales pitch, just honest opinions, friendly service, and let's not overlook the HUGE inventory. Came in with two friends today, one of whom is totally new to the firearm community. Everyone got the same professional attention. Joel and the rest of the staff were incredibly patient and answered a multitude of our questions. Joel was an especially good source of info considering his military background, and the good sense of humor helped too. Opinions based on real-world experience vs YouTube videos/influencers are what you get here. Don't be afraid to ask for price-matching with on-line vendors or local shops like Sportsman's or Scheels. Definitely coming back. read more

Awesome shop with a great variety. I've bought 2 suppressors through them and done an SBR and they walked me through every part of the process for each. Great shop and definitely recommend them. read more

The selection in this small building is outstanding. They even have a suppressor for a 12 gauge! (I don't want to know.) The staff are great. Informative. Friendly. We were greeted upon entering and told they would be with us as soon as they finished with the other customers. They have complimentary sodas and water. Unlike some gun stores you won't get the uptight and stale atmosphere. If you have questions, they will answer them without intimidating or embarrassing you. They will probably give you a lot of info you didn't even know to ask for. You can definitely get set up right here. Very impressively, they do their own trusts. So upon picking the suppressor we wanted, without asking, the employee explained the process for a trust. We had 2 of our children with us, so that was convenient. This is a thorough process but he made it as painless as possible. He had each person doing something simultaneously so it cut down on the time there significantly. We have actually been meaning to do a trust for years! Which would have continued to not happen. That alone makes it worth going there. read more

After some really negative experiences at a couple other shops in the valley, notably an NFA transfer that another indoor range botched and then sat on for two months before I had EVT take over, dealing with Eric, Jordan, and Zack has been a breath of fresh air. They A) actually know their stuff, B) want you to be a happy customer, and C) start the whole process right on the spot, so the clock for the ATF deciding when to let you exercise your God given rights starts ticking the very same business day. I wasted a lot of time and money dicking around with other shops and I really wish I could just go back and start all over again at EVT. Service is on point, the selection is excellent, and their prices are right in like with MAP and they were willing to match w sale price elsewhere to get my business. I have experience in retail and customer service, and I know when I've been rinsed, and I know when I've been treated right. I get treated right at EVT. You will, too. read more

We have come to the store five times and each time we were greeted enthusiastically by staff as if we are long lost friends. Eric and his team are second to none. They treat everyone with respect and never pressure you to buy anything you may not want or need. Eric and his team are arguably the most knowledgeable people I have met in regard to NFA items. They helped me throughout the process of purchasing my suppressor and completing the paperwork properly. I had my suppressor in hand 5 days later! They offer extremely competitive pricing and were even able to get me my Volquartsen Mini Scorpion months before I should have received it. Just an overall great company full of genuine employees. Update on my previous review... out of the blue. I received a message from the new owner of Mr. Silencer, Eric, asking if I had time to discuss a review I had left on yelp.. Eric started the conversation with " I am not here to debate on what did or did not happen. I just want to know what I can do to make it right"? First of all the fact that Eric reached out to me to make it right means the world to me. I had already licked my wounds and moved on , took it as a loss. I have changed the star rating due to the professionalism and the simple fact that Eric reached out as the new owner to fix an issue he had no part of.. Eric has made good on his word and righted a wrong.. more than he needed to in fact .. I will once again shop at Mr. Silencer. I will happily spend my money in his store. They have a great selection of all the toys you want or need .. In my opinion this is how business should be done. Go in and say Hi to Eric. And tell him Rick sent you read more

Went in today after having frustrating conversations via text. I thought the owner was trying to bait and switch me, but it appears to have been miscommunication. The owner followed up with me and cleared up the confusion. read more

Much better experience under the new ownership. Before it seemed disorganized a lot of times and if the store was busy it was hard to get someone to acknowledge you and help you. Now every time I have stopped in it has been a great experience. Staff is friendly and helpful. Selection is great at competitive prices. The form 4 process is easy and fast (well, the submission at least! :) ) As a woman I never feel like I am being talked down to or treated differently like it has happened in many other shops. Mr Silencer / East Valley Tactical.. Semi-Auto's, Bolt-guns, optics or silencers, and everything in between. This is a fantastic store for all things that go PEW, especially if you're into NFA gear/ Stamps, AKA The Good Stuff. I recently needed some assistance to e-file a form 1, so I made an appointment with the owner, Eric. He was knowledgeable & patient. Got me squared away in short order. Then they installed a tri-lug adapter on an existing Omega 9k, that I had with me. I was stoked to learn they had the parts in stock. Couple weeks later, I went back & put my name on a sweet new can. Next time you're in Mesa, pop in & check these guys. read more

I visited EVT this past weekend for the first time ever-since moving down to the Phoenix area last July and I just have to say, the breadth of selection, cleanliness and the Staff-to-Guest ratio was impressive. Coming from a State where seemingly every Gun Shop made you feel like you were a burden & they all quickly ushered through the whole sales transaction process, EVT's friendly and knowledgeable Staff had me hooked at "hello, welcome in!" Joel, one of the EVT Staffers that was helping myself and my two friends out..sidebar, one of my friends that was with me is a retired, nationally published and decorated 2+ decade tenured SWAT Lieutenant, was so incredibly forthcoming with his years of experience and the knowledge gained of weapons while serving our Country. His genuine enthusiasm for his line of work was so contagious and he made me feel like no question was a bad one; he answered them all with sincerity & thoughtfulness. I walked out having purchased a new Geissele trigger for my M&P Sport II and Joel even offered to have me come back later this week to have them put the new trigger in for me sans charge. My First time there and originally came in to get some sights realigned because my gfs p365 slide came in the mail with the sights misaligned. Not the first time I've gotten an sig slide with the sights not properly aligned so figured it was a factory mistake. We didn't notice it till we hit the range and seen the pistol was shooting 2 inches left from center mass on a cardboard silhouette at 10 yards. it was obvious that the sights were off when we looked at them and no neither of us are bad shooters or were jerking at the trigger each shot. Anyway the Asian guy who's supposed to be the weekend "gunsmith" was supposed to realign them but didn't. In fact he did nothing with them. He didnt even try. I made a mistake not re checking the work and just trusted that he did it. I go to the range again to find out either of the front or rear sight show signs of being pushed in place. i was charged $35 dollars. Just to slightly move the sights and not even fully remove them? Pretty pricy and to make it worse he knew he ripped me off. I called Monday and a really nice helpful lady told me to come back in and I was helped and the actual gunsmith properly aligned my sights. I wasted an hour and a half both Saturday and Monday driving to and from because of this bs. bad first impressions I actually wanted to buy an AR and suppressor there but I chose to go else where knowing that I was for sure ripped off. Definitely not going back. read more
