This place is more than a gun store to me. It's more like a second home. The staff there has become more like family more than a bunch of gun brokers. They will tell you that I usually come by a few times a week when I can to shoot the crap, help talk to customers about firearms and scope out my next buy. Kordell is the person I usually deal with but I pretty much know the entire staff, Levi, Ray, Bill, Josh, John, Matt 1 and Matt 2 from all stores at this point. Love them all as they are pretty chilled gents. Because of other staff members like the Matt 1 I signed up for gunsmithing school at SDI. One of the best decisions I've made so far. Thank you all for what you bring to the community and see you soon. If you can't tell it by now, I highly recommend this place. They have three store locations, Chandler, Tempe, and Mesa. This store is in a strip mall, and doesn't stand out, so you kind of have to look for it. I came here for one type of pistol and wound up leaving with a different type. They have a pretty good choice of new and used guns, but it's hard to pass up a weapon that they aren't making anymore, so that's what I purchased. When I picked it up, (Chandler PD puts a hold on weapons that are traded in to insure that they aren't stolen) the cylinder was a bit sticky (probably from sitting for a while) so the guy working there (didn't get his name, sorry) lubed cylinder, and tested it to make sure it was operational. For my troubles he threw in a box of ammo! That kind of service, and value is worth my business, so I'll be back for my next purchase. read more

Went in to sell my Winchester 32 special. Unlike a pawn shop or some of the other gun shops I went in they treated me good and made a very honest offer. Also while I was there waiting for paperwork to be done I looked around and their prices are very good. I'll probably go back and buy an AR from them. I've been an AZ Guns customer for over 10 years and was very satisfied until my recent NFA transfer experience. If you're buying a firearm or doing a standard transfer, they're fine. If you need an NFA transfer, look elsewhere. My item arrived, I was told to come in, then told I needed an appointment with no follow‑up or response. After multiple attempts and delays, nothing was done. This was frustrating and unacceptable. I won't be returning. read more

Where do I start? The gun I ordered showed up in the wrong caliber but John and Levi sent it right back am submitted the order again. Unfortunately , the second time was not a charm and the supplier sent the wrong gun again. John reimbursed me my money and gave me some ammo for my trouble. These guys weee awesome and did all they could to make it right. I ended up having to go through a different online shop and had it shipped to Azguns. The owner lied like a democrat in the response so I replied here: Your rude and disrespectful employees could have simply explained the law regarding P.O. Boxes, like you did defending their unprofessional behavior. I know what rifling is, but thanks for belittling your ex customer, very courteous and professional presuming your customer is an idiot as usual.....Why are you so defensive about me trying to warn others of the bad employees working for you? Anyway gouges are very different than rifling and it went from PSA to your store. Who could have damaged it if your unprofessional, jealous employees didn't. I feel as if they stole from me! Purchased a gun...went home and watched an unboxing video...the case on the video was very nice with an airline safe lock! I believe they switched it out for the cheap case..now I can't get a return call and of course they refuse to take the gun back...lesson learned Yelp first buy second More lies! Firstly I never used a single curse word! Not once! I hope you have a recording to back up your claim! I'm thrilled with the gun but not the store. The sticker on the case peels off without effort and can be put on anything....i can't prove a thing and that's my fault! Won a shotgun in a raffle where this business was the source of the guns being raffled. After being notified I had won I worked with them to have the gun shipped to my location. When I received the gun I discovered it was missing a key component. Without that missing part the gun was useless. I called, emailed and all I got was an unsympathetic run around. They said they would try and locate a replacement part. After almost a month this situation was not resolved and trying to find out a status of their search was almost impossible. I finally went searching for myself and YES after many calls and emails I was able to find the part which I then purchased. Their actions or lack there of shows what type of customer service they provide. They simply don't give a fidllers pluck about the customer. Go somewhere else. I recently used AZ guns for a FFL transfer of a handgun. Getting ahold of them was a nightmare. I used them because they were close to where I live. I'm only giving them 3 stars because once I finally got someone to help me, they were super nice and helpful. You might have a better experience if you aren't using them as a FFL transfer and only to buy new. Now this was the week before Christmas so I admit the hours could be interesting but USPS had to try two times before they could deliver the gun because there was "no adult to sign" and the shop was closed on a Wednesday at 11:00. Don't know exactly what happened but that was frustrating. Then, whenever I tried to call their phone was not working and would simply hang up. Once I went in-person they would ask if the shop had called me first to let me know my gun was ready. Since they had not called me, they told me to come back once they reached out. I waited a few days and then just asked them to check in the back and, Lo and behold, my gun was waiting. Caleb helped me at the counter as was super nice and quick. To be honest he's the only positive experience on using AZ guns and why I'm giving them a 3 star. Overall they might provide a good service but my experience was spotting with getting ahold of them and it took an extra week to get my gun. If you buy new from them it might be easier and a better experience. read more

In a word - OUTSTANDING! I amd recently new to the area, and have been to four or five other stores in the 10-mile radius. Some are good, some may have fancier displays etc, but you can't beat the service (and usually the prices) at AZ Guns. This is my fifth (or is it seventh) time making a purchase/transfer here. My visit alway goes without any problems, and is usually accompanied by good advice and conversation, just like I had today with John and Vance. These guys were swamped - customers coming in, phones tringing, deliveries, but they juggled it seamlessly. Nice job guys, I wish I had more like you on my team. When I come in, I usually see someone new here behind the counter, but no matter who is here, the staff is always friendly, and not just to me - I watch and listen how other customers are treated. Even the ones who are an obvious pain in the rear get treated respectfully. No drama, no delays, excellent prices, and I always feel taken care of. Definitely coming back here. read more

He states that he reviewed security footage and heard me challenge his employee to a fight. Stay away from this place they're liars. Read below. Awful experience these guys are the biggest jerks I've ever dealt with trying to buy a firearm. They gave me wrong information on the phone and when I got there tried to twist it into looking like it was my fault. I still was nice enough to offer to buy the gun at the website price and they wouldn't budge even after knowing I drove a very long way to get there. So cheap they literally sent me out the door over 4 dollars. I can't imagine how bad it would be to deal with these jerks if you ever have a problem with anything you buy from them they are such cocky creeps. Go to AZ Firearms in Tempe or Gilbert they always treat me right. This is what I get for trying to be a decent guy and spread my business around. So bad I literally cannot believe how poorly I was treated. I dodged a bullet though because they got no money from me. Do *not* give these guys your business. Just don't do it. read more
