I am a big outdoor enthusiast and live next door to this Bass Pro Shop in Mesa. Most of my outdoor activities include camping, running, skiing and kayaking. Bass Pro Shops have been around for many years and recently acquired Cabela's. This Bass Pro Shop is called Outdoor World and has an aquarium, shooting gallery and animal displays. It adds to the fun of walking around these stores and gives you that feel that you are outside. The prices aren't anything special. But I like that you can find a lot of outdoor apparel and gear all in one stop. Bass Pro Shops supports conservation efforts throughout the U.S. The Islamorada Fish Company Restaurant that was here closed a few years ago.

What made the situation even worse was that no one from the store seemed to address it or manage the situation, even though the area was busy. Basic courtesy and respect for other customers should be expected in a public place, and unfortunately that wasn't the case here. While the store itself may be popular, experiences like this leave a really negative impression. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed with how the situation played out. I later checked Arizona law, and an ID is not required to purchase a holster. To make things worse, once I got outside and opened the package, the holster didn't even fit my firearm. Then I checked their return policy and found out they won't accept returns once the package is opened. So I was sold the wrong product, asked for ID unnecessarily, and then stuck with an item I can't return. If you're going to offer help, at least make sure you're giving customers the correct product. Went to Wright Armory to get handrail and gas block installed on stock smith and wesson m&p 15…read more Website stated $60-80, At the store they said the prices were not updated on the website and it would end up being $99. They stated they were having trouble with the gas block but returned by gun to me anyway and said it *should* work. Unfortunately when I drove out to the desert to test, the gun would not cycle. They claimed it may be the gas block's fault and I would need to get another block for them to install. They then wanted to charge me an extra $50 to simply remove the old gas block and slide the new one on. I assumed for the $100 (for a half hour of work) would be getting the expertise of an actual gunsmith, but I assumed wrong. UPDATE - Took it to a different armory just down the street. They claimed whoever put the gas block on before had pinned it first then slid the gas tube in, stopping it from seating all the way. The gun now cycles after a quick 5 minute repair. Whether this was a genuine mistake or Wright armory trying to make some easy money off an AR newbie, I don't know. Either way I no longer have trust for this place

Ordered drinks & apps which took a while to come out, but I got an espresso martini and their cheesy potato balls. The cheesy potato balls were unique, crispy and tasty! The espresso martini was not my favorite though it was really strong and the ratios were off and seemed like they just poured a bunch of baileys and vodka together. I also got the original "burger" with a grilled chicken breast which came with lettuce, onion, tomato, and got it on a pretzel bun. I will say their garlic fries were to die for though. They were perfectly crispy and delicious! Our server was great about checking in and some of our friends took advantage of a $5 mimosa deal they had on Sunday!
