Great for a first timer at a range, I'd recommend bringing your own ear muffs & goggles (required to enter) but they also sell some at the counter! They have someone in the range at all times monitoring everyone so you're in good hands. They were helpful! Ladies night is every Monday & ladies are free! Took our Grandson in this morning to sign the 3 of us up for a beginners course. There were like 6 employees standing in the Range sign in area but no one at the regular counter. We waited for some time while people walked around us and got help. When we were asked what we needed, we were handed a brochure and he pointed to the prices on the wall and he was done with us. Horrible customer service! The next range that we went to was extremely helpful and explained the different offers that they had very well. The 3 of us are scheduled for our first class next Saturday and we now have a years membership there. read more

Purchased a new Glock 17, OD Green. A day later, I noticed the front sight post was damaged. Brought it back that day and was told that they couldn't help. I could send it back to Glock for a free repair. They have an armorer, but made no offer to repair the handgun. My third and last purchase from these folks. Pluses: 1. There is a very wide range of guns available for rent, including full-auto guns. 2. The store is always well stocked with ammunition. Minuses: 1. No one is ever available on the phone. 2. The range officers are surly, swaggering around like tough guys. 3. They keep the range as cold as a meat locker. 4. The A/C blows the paper targets like a strong wind. 5. Rather than opening both sides of the range so that they can space people out, they cram everyone onto the one open side, stuffing us in like sardines. read more

We were visiting scottsdale and saw C2 Tactical. My daughter wanted to learn to use a firearm! Our family of 4 signed up on 2 seperate date night packages with accompanied by the instructor David. He made our experince fun and educational. We are from Burnaby BC Canada. We have very strict gun rules and no facilities like C2 Tactical. The staff were all very friendly and courteous. Being from Canada I have not seen so many firearms under one roof....I was feeling like a child in a candy store! To sum it all up, it was very good value for the experince we received! C2 range is nice, up to date and has good ventilation and is large enough that 25-30 people can be in the range without getting overwhelmed. This is the nicest range we've found outside of Utah. the weekly matches are good for everyone from beginners to very experienced shooters. The membership is worth it if you shoot more than once a month or plan to take any classes or courses. I'd recommend checking that out. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is some of the staff seem to be pretty inexperienced or don't know a whole lot about the products they sell. They are still good, and are plenty pleasant to deal with. They just need some time to learn or gain experience before they would be my go to for guidance. I definitely still have a blast every time I go. read more

Good clean range with a lot of lanes and a variety of rental gear. Ears are free but it's a little annoying that eyes cost money...but they're yours forever afterwards. They need to clean their rental pistols a little more frequently. On this last visit where we rented a .22 for my daughter (and bought their ammo), the Sig Sauer misfed at least once every time she put a mag through it. 3 times, the pistol failed to eject the empty casing after firing and the next round got wedged in. I had to call the rangemaster over to ram the empty casing out each time. Could not dig it out with my fingernails. Finally I took the Sig back to the front counter and swapped it out with another type of pistol. Also, they won't let you fire your cheap Russian steel jacketed ammo. Otherwise. It's a great big air conditioned indoor range. Good stuff!! read more

My name is Brandon Wallace. On Saturday of July 19'th My friends Eric Walker, William Stone, Alex Walker, and I went to C2 shooting range located on Emerald Drive in Tempe Arizona for a reserved shooting session at 12:45pm I brought a 40 caliber Glock 24c, with serial HGG685 and an non ported Stock Glock .40 caliber branded barrel with serial L39777. The other firearms I brought were a .45caliber custom model 1911 handgun with serial 67392 and an AR-15 pattern rifle in .22 (5.56x45 caliber) with serial X13850. We are regular members and book a session almost every week barring sickness or family events. I compete in the United States Practical Shooting Association, also known and abbreviated as USPSA. I would like to preface by saying. I am not Ben Stoeger, I don't hit x ring every time, and am no grandmaster. But I can top B class (above average) or hit master (very good) scores on a good day in a non national match. The reason I state these facts prematurely is I feel it gives some background into my shooting experience level, some critical facts about the firearms and rounds that I was firing, and my reasons for coming and shooting so often. To note, the defendant Nathan Chism, the Head Range Safety Officer, had to switch our cardboard target holder before we even started shooting due to the clip being broken. He gave us a fine condition replacement, however, and this can be noted by the attending parties listed as well.The cardboard holder had what appeared to be several .22 caliber holes in it already. The main facet of this incident began after about an hour or so of my friends and I shooting and running some shooting drills, which, if you are not familiar, are strings of fire often involving transitioning to multiple targets on a paper or multiple rounds in a row. Since we are running drills there is a minimum of one other person supervising the shooter at all times and calling good hits. We also do not exceed 15 rounds including or not including a reload. We do this for indoor drills before taping up the target and counting the score factor using the USPSA scoring system. We had an issue with our carrier tablet on our range going to zero percent and not being functional after I had fired two rounds of 5.56 out of my AR-15 which landed low and right of the center paper target which is verifiable on video. I go over to the Head Range Safety Officer as I do not want to mess up their system. After coming over Nathan in a very accusatory tone that was heard by my shooting partner and the two others in the lane next to us, "Who shot that." while pointing to a piece of steel on the carrier that is well over 3 feet above where our target was posted. Note, shooting steel is not particularly quiet as demonstrated by this clip of Max Michel, a multi-time Champion. (https://youtu.be/PhShNmkO18Y?t=8), if this was the case and we had shot the steel everyone including the other range officers in the vicinity (of which there was at least one) would have heard it and likely called cease fire or bare minimum came over to reprehend us in the moment as well as likely others from the range would have heard/seen the spalling sparks. What would not is what happened in reality which is Nathan waiting till AFTER we called him over to see what the carrier tablet was doing. The pre-existing damage to the carrier cardboard and steel that was observed by all parties noted in the beginning of this report also would not have caused the issue we were having. Note also, that this is not the first time that we have had an issue with this Range Safety Officer accusing us or others of something he could not prove they did as well as threatening fines. After telling him it could not have been us as we counted and taped our rounds and that he could check the video to prove it, Nathan then pointed at the .22 caliber holes that were in the cardboard that were again, mentioned and observed by several third parties prior to us even receiving it. I then pointed out the facts that .40 and .45, and for that matter 9mm (.357-.38ish caliber) are in fact, almost twice as large as a .22 bore and too large a bore to scientifically make holes as clean cut and small as the .22 caliber holes he pointed out. He then stated in his exact words "Oh, you guys were shooting a .40 and a.45." proving the prior statement, tone of confrontation, and "show and tell" esque presentation of the existing holes as well as threatening of fees was on the generous side at least an ego trip and negligent and to the surface level to all attending parties, this appeared to be nothing but malicious. This is obviously slanderous for the fact that ALL of the accusations levied by Nathan Chism are just plain scientifically disprovable to a child with a basic test. Not mentioning the fact that we have not seen evidence of our wrongdoing on the prior incident which happened on lane 7 nor our supposed wrongdoing this time either. read more

My wedding was so much fun and memorable!! It was an incredible afternoon that went so much better than I'd anticipated. It was planned within 2 weeks time of contacting Gena about the package and I am so grateful to C2 for making it possible because of so many courthouses being closed for JOP weddings. I would not recommend C2 Tactical. I took the CCW 1 BASIC CONCEALED CARRY WEAPON course and paid the additional $35 for fingerprint cards to submit with my CCW application. There were about 10 to 12 people in the class and many also needed their finger prints taken. The Instructor started to fingerprint those before the start of the class but stopped after the class start time and continued to print the remaining after the end of the class. Several issues, the class time was cut short to about by 45 minutes as the fingerprinting was taking too long before the class. The Instructor knew he had other to fingerprint and so in order to make up the time he rushed the through the material. Also the USCCA took another 30 minutes to sell their membership protection plan. I sent feedback to C2 Tactical and requested to be contacted but I never did get a call back. After submitting my application and prints to DPS it was rejected as the prints 'were not clear enough to be identified' and I would have to submit a new set of prints within 30 days of the letter. I went to an independent finger printing company that guaranteed their prints and would print again if rejected. Leave the fingerprinting up to a company that knows how to fingerprint and not waste time and Customers money. read more

My Friends and I go every weekend the staff is amazing, we also love the range officers as they are always willing to help and are very friendly the only way you won't have a good time is if you don't follow weapon safety, which is the bare minimum when it comes to firearms. I did a quick stop just to test fire a used revolver I had just bought in a private sale. I shopped a little, and used the range. The range is quite nice, very clean, without an excessive amount of powder and smoke in the air like too many other indoor ranges. The lane controls are on a touchscreen and fully automated, very nice! You just type in the number of feet you want and the target zooms away and stops automatically. Touch another button and it comes back. The RSO was super friendly, very much to the point, and not overbearing in any way. Store prices seem about normal and the two counter people I talked to were friendly and helpful. read more

C2 tactical is a really nice gun range, clean range, merchandise area, very helpful staff, even clean bathrooms!! You do need to bring your own ammo if you would like to practice and you DEFINITELY should make reservations! My group needed two range booths (because it's only three persons to one booth) and we didn't have reservations, which why we had to wait two hours. Also they had to close some of the ranges due to staffing and safety (I appreciate that). The staff is very helpful (I can't say that enough) and very knowledgeable about every gun in there. The gun range is functional but very expensive for ammunition if you buy there. Also if you are attempting to use C2 Tactical to pick up your online firearm for FFL. DO NOT USE C2 TACTICAL FOR FFL PICKUP. I had to wait for 2 weeks after it was delivered and once they finally called me to pick up my firearm I purchased online already they said I messed up on the paperwork and only one person can fix it and that took another 5 days. I had to call everyday and the representative Jane was very rude. Only on the 5th day, after I called i was told I can come in to try again. This process was horrendous, time consuming, and aggravating. Hope this helps someone from having to go through this headache. read more

Do you like being ignored when you walk into a store for your first time? Do you like being talked to by a guy mumbles when you talks? Do you like being yelled at by a lady while your still locked and loaded because you made a simple mistake (a mistake that would have caused no harm to anyone? If so, this is the place for you!!! This particular lady (the one with the limp) let a group of gentlemen shoot a shotgun 2 lanes from the wall. Then yelled at me for shooting my last 2 rounds (.22lr) after my target fell down. Maybe train your staff to also keep an eye on everything rather than chatting to one particular group at the end of the way. Was gonna resupply myself with ammo afters and really thinking about getting a membership. That ship has sailed. read more

On 5/22/23 approx. 12:00 pm I came in to order an aftermarket 10/22 receiver, and C2 wouldn't order it, your counter guy said they are out of stock, and unavailable, I guess he had lunch plans or couldn't care less. I say they are in stock (it says so on the website) he tells me he can't help. Lackluster effort, maybe pay your staff better or train them better. Luckily Customer service still exists in Ahwatukee!
