Such a great experience and I walked away feeling educated, smarter, and not like an idiot. Let me explain. I have visited many other gun shops in the North side of the valley. These other shops literally put you down and make you feel like an idiot or don't give a d**n about and just another transaction. Not here, I was motivated when I left. Absolutely OUTSTANDING service. I came here to purchase some milsurp rifles (specifically to look at Mosin Nagants) and they had a great selection. The store isn't huge, but they have a lot of very nice rifles, some hard to find ammunition (like new 8mm Lebel and new 7.5mm French), and even some very serious collector pieces all in one place. I have been going here my last few trips to the gun shop. they are great here. Decent prices, friendly staff who are also very knowledgeable. Stopped in to pick up some gun cleaner. They could have easily made a sale on a tiny bottle of $10 gun cleaner. Instead the owner took the time to educate me on some alternates for about the same price that will last longer and work better and not only that, he has me bring in my pistol and he fully went through disassembled, cleaned, lubed and reassembled it for me. Called in to get some information about getting some sights changed out on a P95. Scott said they didn't do that type of work there, however was more than helpful recommending a gunsmith that would take care of me. Went into the shop anyways just because of the great service offered over the phone. picked up some ammo and even adjusted my existing sights for me when I told him what was going on to hold me over until I get in touch with the gunsmith. All in all a great business with great staff and everything in the store was reasonably priced. After seeing a few recent 1 star reviews I went back in, same great staff. I noticed both 1 star reviews are from San Francisco???? Odd

First of all, I am not a firearms expert. Secondly, I like to ask questions. That being said, the guys at Elite were not annoyed or rude when I asked questions and they were able to explain the answers to my questions without hesitation. I had a Glock that had an issue so I brought it in thinking I would need some parts. I was greeted by the guys as soon as I walked in, one of the guys stopped what he was doing, listened to my concern and had the gun apart in less then 5 minutes. He grabbed a brand new Glock off the shelf, took it apart and compared it to mine side by side so I could see how they look new verses used. He explained how my ammo was most likely the cause of my issue and steered me in the direction of a higher quality ammo for the same price as the stuff I was having issues with. I spent about an hour at the shop talking to the guys and playing with some of the bad a** stuff they have one the shelf. I told them my lack of knowledge so I think it would have been very easy for them to sell me parts that I didn't need. Instead, they were honest and left me feeling very good about my interaction with them. Bottom line, any firearm related issue or need you have, go see these guys first. read more

Although I didn't purchase my first firearm here, I would have had I been in the area when I was feeling antsy (I buy things compulsively at times if the price is great and local). I came by on a day that they actually happened to be closed but the owner and another employee were just leaving after dropping a few things off. To my surprise, the fellow Marine veteran willingly allowed me in, showed me around and answered all of the questions I had. Their selection was phenomenal and I feel he was honest, informative, and not pushy whatsoever. Again, had I been in the area when having the urge I would have purchased here. That's not to say I won't purchase my next or stop by whenever.
