very friendly, quick service on firearm engraving. great prices and selection of items.

Weird vibes and a weird smell in this shop. I wouldn't stop here again, as a woman. Very limited ammo selection. And unhelpful male staff who made weird attempts at humor when I asked who worked there and if they had more of a certain ammo I was purchasing. The woman working there was helpful and kind when I needed to check out. The two stars are for her, apparently the only staff member dedicated to a positive customer experience. I always make an effort to shop small and local, but this was disappointing. read more

Called looking for something obscure and coincidentally he had a few in stock. Over the phone he was very helpful and when I got there he knew what he had could be sold for much more due to its obscurity but to my surprise it obviously isn't ONLY about profit to him; he genuinely likes his customers. Thank you so much for being helpful and kind! read more

I got here a little before the shop was about to close and they fit me in and situated everything in under 20 minutes. I'm glad to be in their care especially as a first time buyer. read more

Decent supply of guns and supplies. They have a very friendly staff. The owner took time to share the company story with me.

They are not that knowledgeable and added 5-6 weeks onto my wait for a suppressor. I'm aware, at the time, it was taking more than a year in some cases. They didn't start the paperwork for 5-6 weeks. I went in weekly, the guy that did the paperwork was never there and I was always given a terrible excuse. 2-weeks he couldn't do it because he left his laptop in Payson. 5-6 weeks later i enter the system for a year plus wait. read more

Great guys work here. My husband was cleaning his gun for the first time and couldn't figure out where a spring went. We brought it in and they were able to help him get it put together in no time. They were very nice and knowledgeable. read more

That rare gun shop that has a friendly staff and offers courses that don't cost an arm and a leg.

Bought a little concealed carrier from here. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this store to anyone!

If you have over 50 years or combined knowledge , you better hire a few more people with a lot more knowledge because you guys don't seem to have enough. But thanks for trying to respond. We actually had the gun back within a few weeks and fixed correctly with the correct solution. You guys had no idea what was wrong with it And it was in your shop for three weeks. Bottom line is your employees are rude and you sell guns and you have no knowledge to fix them and you shouldn't be trying to. Good luck with your business. read more

I recently found this shop after going to Ramjet for a car part. I put a very expensive WW2 pistol up for sale with them. They had staff that was very knowledgeable and overall their customer service is great. Retail prices seem to be in line with other shops. I highly recommend this gun store. read more

Was stunned to find a specialty holster there. I expected to go to Tempe to order a custom, hand built holster for $50-$90. Got one for $24.95 with a lifetime warranty. Nice clean shop, personable and knowledgeable staff. I'll be back. Already recommended you to three fellow shooters. read more

Great little family run shop, very pleased with the way I was treated, the speed of getting paperwork done, and the amount of product they had on the shelves, definitely worth looking at if you are trying to find a firearm read more

This Store was great until my second time in which was yesterday, 3/14/2022. We had spent almost $2,000. The guy (glasses, dark hair with receding hair line) working that day on Monday did NOT treat us with respect what so ever. He was very rude to me. I was ignored, which I brought to his attention and he denied ignoring me. I was treated as if I did NOT belong or as if I wasn't buying something or haven't already. ALTOGETHER I AM SICK FROM SPENDING THAT MUCH MONEY THERE AND BEING TREATED THAT WAY. The owners are great, hopefully this doesn't go ignored. I was very excited for this place because it's right by my house but I guess it was short lived. I have never been treated like that by any business in this area and have lived in this location for almost 30 years. LESSON LEARNED!!! Hopefully for you guys as well because I was going to spend over thousand dollars again just on handguns that day. I am NOT some window shopper. I was a good paying gun buyer. read more

Very nice staff, amazing prices. Good location, and it's a nice size store so you don't feel cramped in there. Plenty of room to browse. The only thing they really ask is don't bring in a loaded weapon. So don't be stupid and bring a loaded weapon in the store. read more

This is my go-to shop for transfers and engraving! Will use their cerakote/gunkote services in the future as well. I've always had a pleasant experience here, transfers are a painless process, communication is excellent, prices are very fair, their selection is great and growing, and the staff is very friendly. I always feel welcomed unlike some snooty places *cough..scottsdale gun club*. read more

Great place I found after canvassing the nearby neighborhood. Prices were reasonable however there was a limit in ammunition as the COVID gun but craze was happening. They had a lot of inventory and the dude there was knowledgeable on my current build, 50 Beowulf. I left spending more than I should but I was satisfied. Thanks guys! read more

Been buying from mls for a few years. Always the best prices otd on new firearm. Greatest thing I love about mls is the part selection for the ar15/m4 platform. Billet stripped lower under 100.00 dollars is awesome. Today I purchased a 12inch mlok free float rail and low profile gas block for 85.00 out the door. Great local parts for sure. His mls shirts are nice as well. read more

In 30 years of purchasing and transferring guns, this experience was the most horrific. I hope you have a good experience. Myself, friends, and fellow veteran friends of mine will never step foot in this place. I tried to have a weapon transferred but after almost a month, and 50 phone calls, the gun is in my possession. Never transferred. read more

Tried to use them for a FFL transfer, terrible customer service. Refused to even tell me their address so I could have it shipped to the correct location. Can't speak for their other services, but go with someone else for FFL transfers read more

Bought a gun there no problem, but, they didn't offer to sell me any ammo and I didn't see any displayed, so, I thought they didn't sell it. So, I went online to see if Walmart had any. It wasn't clear if they did because I couldn't order any on the website. So, I called MLS the next day to ask if they sold ammo. The lady said yes. As an aside, I asked if Walmart still sells ammo? She rudely said she doesn't know anything about Walmart, she only knows about MLS. I said, you don't know? She acted like a cult member where she would get beaten if she answered my question. I asked, haven't any of your customers mentioned it to you? She said she'll get someone else for me to talk to and put me on hold. A guy came on and I asked him and he said he believes Walmart is getting out of the gun business and wasn't sure if they sold ammo. I said, shouldn't you guys know whether they do or not? Wouldn't that be a selling point for you guys, where you could say Walmart doesn't sell ammo, but, we do? I thanked him and hung up. What a bunch of weirdos. Not going back there. read more

Great customer service. Rick helped me determine what gun would be best for my needs. I purchased a few months ago and am very happy with the gun. It was a quick, easy transaction at a very fair price. I am definitely going back when I am in the market for another gun and recommending MLS to my friends. read more

Awesome store and Rick and his wife make buying that perfect new firearm so enjoyable. If they don't have it, they definitely can order it for you or build it for you. They also can assist you with your internet purchase and transfer. They have great prices and selection. I highly recommend MLS Arms to all of my friends and family. read more

Absolutely awesome folks. I purchased online and used MLS as an FFL, which was my first experience doing so. They made it SO easy and communicated the whole time, and it was incredibly fast (I had my new firearm in 2.5 days which included shipping from the East Coast). They have a fantastic system of filling out the paperwork electronically, and it's super efficient and accurate. While I was there to pick up my transfer, I observed that the personnel is incredibly kind, accommodating, friendly, welcoming, informative, charming, and deliver a no-pressure educational sales approach for new buyers (considering the current environment and stress of CV-19 and stay at home orders, those qualities are beyond admirable to observe). They can also do certain custom builds - which as I observed are very high quality. Overall - I'll 100% be visiting MLS again, whether it's for a transfer or in-person purchase, or maybe even a custom build. Phenomenal folks! read more

I called into MLS Arms earlier this afternoon because a firearm I had purchased from a different retailer had jammed with a round still in the chamber. After briefly explaining my situation they said to bring it in and they would have a gunsmith take a look. When I arrived I was greeted by a very nice lady whom gave me a warm greeting and then introduced my weapon to one of the gentlemen gunsmiths. As they took the gun to fix it the lady behind the desk explained that between the two gentlemen they had over 40 years of working on and around firearms and were very knowledgeable. After 5 minutes they brought my gun back out front and all ready to go. When I inquired about cost they said if I purchased a box of ammo we would be even. I have been in a lot of gun stores but I must say that I have never been more satisfied than I was with MLS Arms and very much recommend that store to everyone. Along with a very nice selection of firearms they have tons of accessories alike. I will be going back there instead of the big retailers. read more

If you need a firearm, ammo, accessories, or have something repaired, MLS Arms is your go to place. The nicest people with great firearms knowledge! They are all ways so helpful when you are trying to find the right firearm for you. I took a 1921 Colt Army revolver to them that was in bad shape, two weeks later, wow, it looks like it just came out of the box. They are now my place to go for anything dealing with firearms!!
