I found Smokingun Firearms academy online and seen that they offered multilevel classes from beginner to advanced/defensive shooting. This was exactly what I was looking for. I'm so happy I booked a class. I started with level one even though I had firearms experience, because I wanted help finding my weaknesses and building a better foundation, while reprogramming myself from a lifetime of bad habits. Thom has done just that. By the end of the first level course, I already feel more confident in my shooting ability and technique. I will continue range practice, as well as dry fire practice on the techniques that was taught to me during the course. For amateurs like me it took about half a dozen times, but I hit it. I still have found memories of this place and would one day love to come back. Its probably been 5 years now since I attended, but GPS Defense Sniper School was worth every penny. GPS is located in the same complex as Cowtown. Don't know anything about long distance shooting? Don't have a rifle? Don't have ammo? GPS Defense can teach you and provide the rest. This can be a little pricey, but you will become a better shooter guaranteed and get to meet a group of talented people different backgrounds. Go you won't regret it!
