This was easy to sign up for and was a fun class. It was in the back of a restaurant in their event space and your registration counted for a free meal and drink so you could enjoy those while the class was going on. You'll learn about the instructor and he will begin teaching. You will fill out all the forms you need while there and he will scan your license for you. He gives you a mailable folder which you will send out (with a check) in order to receive your C&C. Overall, I did it with my friend and it was quick, fun, and painless! read more

The class was great, Roger is very knowledgeable on the topics and laws covered in the class. I wasn't sure what to expect but definitely learned a lot of really important information. I walked into class thinking I had a good grasp on what the laws were but was surprised to learn that what I thought I knew was vastly different from is written in the laws. I did some research on different Class Providers and opted for this class because it covered the legal side, I could have gone to a class that focused on gun handling and marksmanship but I've been shooting my entire life and have a lot of experience shooting but had a deficiency in the knowledge of the law. I was glad I chose this class and would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn more about their rights and the laws surrounding protecting yourself, others and property. Thanks Roger! read more

I thought the class was just ok. The "sales" person who came in to talk about insurance was very pushy with trying to sell her insurance. If you want the book from which the instructor reads, you have to pay extra for it. Included in the course fee were fingerprints. I didn't want to take my own, so the instructor took them for me. However, the fingerprints were "rejected" by DPS. I asked Roger if he would re-do them. He told me to contact DPS for a "courtesy reprint". DPS informed me that they don't fingerprint folks. Someone is misinformed...not sure who...but it's been very frustrating to say the least. read more

The Concealed Az Instructor gave a very professional interesting presentation for the class using power point presentations, Props, and also included personal experiences to explain Arizona's Concealed Carry Laws. It wasn't dull for a moment and he kept the class actively engaged in the exchange of information. Excellent CCW course provided by Roger (i.e., Concealed Az) which covers the legal aspects of conceal carry. All the application paperwork, fingerprinting, and help making sure it is correct, is provided at the beginning of the class. Even though Arizona is a Constitutional Carry State; only a few other States follow the Constitution. If you travel, as I do, then having the CCW is imperative. This class was designed for people who have high moral conscience about their responsibilities as a law abiding citizen and gun owner. The instructor was very thorough about explaining the law regarding gun ownership, self defense, what to do and what to say in a confrontation as well as some serious issues regarding of what NOT to do. He focused on your behavior, knowledge and respect for your service [duty] to protect self and others in the home or in the community. Priorities were taught, demonstrated and explained including liabilities and situational decision making. GREAT CLASS FOR ANYONE WHO IS ARMED IN OUR SOCIETY AND STATE. read more

Enjoyed most of the class and received my CCW in the mail within 2 weeks. One thing that maybe they could work on is less political banter from the teacher(Roger) of the class. Not everyone in there is going to be a conservative, politically, and you can't push your ideals down the throat of a paying customer. I happen to agree with the conservative perspective openly shared with the class, but it still felt uncomfortable to me. Also, go ahead and pay the extra fee - $125 total for me - and have them take care of everything for you but dropping it in the mail. There were a lot of technical issues with the microphone and the TV. If I had to do it over again, I'd go elsewhere. Not terrible, just not what I would have preferred. Josh Adams read more

I attended the 9am-2pm CCW classroom only course with Roger for $39.99. Very reasonably priced and I felt that he could've easily charged double for the amount of information that he provided. Roger was very professional and well versed on legal issues regarding the defensive use of firearms. His competence is apparent from the beginning of the course and he was able to answer questions from all participants which was impressive given some of the complicated scenarios presented by some. He provided relevant and updated information that included case studies. There was never a dull moment in the class and you leave with all of the documentation needed to submit your application to DPS for your CCW permit. I highly recommend this course and I plan to attend annually for a refresher. read more

I will say this is the best money I spent. Roger is a very good speaker and makes sure you are as informed as you can be with time he has you. If you're going to take a concealed-carry course in Phoenix, this is the one to take. This course focuses on the legal aspects of concealed carry and what you need to do to keep yourself out of court. Knowing how to use your firearm is essential, but you can train with your weapon at the range anytime. After taking this class, I feel much safer about carrying my weapon because I am "armed" with the knowledge necessary to always stay on the right side of the law. I also paid the extra $10.00 for a hard copy of the course material, which I recommend. Small point for improvement: Leave politics out of the classroom. read more
