They were able to do the pen and weld for me and were relatively quick. It only took 2 working days, they are closed on the weekends. I was worried that the weld wouldn't look good after looking at pen and welds on google. Kilo did an amazing job and left the weld very clean looking. They did not blue it, I was hoping they would leave it silver so it's easier to see so it doesn't bother me. I also own a few akm rifles and was looking for a cleaning rod. They had one in stock and sold it to me for a reasonable price. I will be returning for any gun smithing work or ak parts since most places don't have them or don't want to order them. The truth was, I simply didn't have enough knowledge or confidence to feel comfortable having a firearm in my house. That's exactly why I signed up for this class -- and it was absolutely the right decision. Matt and Dan were incredibly friendly, approachable, and fun to be around. They created an environment that felt welcoming and judgment-free, which was especially important for someone like me who had some anxiety going in. The classroom portion was extremely informative and covered so many foundational things I didn't fully understand before -- safety, handling, mindset, and practical knowledge that truly builds confidence. We came here for some afternoon target practice and it was a gorgeous day. Plenty of parking, clean restrooms, a water refill station and fountain. There was a store on site and a chilli dog truck nearby too. After checking in, we went to our assigned lane which was clean! Apparently this range also offers archery and clay targets, so lots of options! They have multiple gun ranges too! Looking forward to coming back here.

For amateurs like me it took about half a dozen times, but I hit it. I still have found memories of this place and would one day love to come back. Its probably been 5 years now since I attended, but GPS Defense Sniper School was worth every penny. GPS is located in the same complex as Cowtown. Don't know anything about long distance shooting? Don't have a rifle? Don't have ammo? GPS Defense can teach you and provide the rest.
