These two back-to-back same-day classes offered individualized hands-on training that took me and my fellow students, at a comfortable pace, from the basics of firearm use through to having us drawing a firearm from a concealed carry position within 1.5 seconds, and accurately firing on our intended target! I'm more of a hands on learner and although there was very little in the ccw course Dave and Jose did a great job of keeping things fun yet informative. His staff is extremely knowledgeable and went over the necessities with a fine tooth comb. The facility at Range Time LLC is massive and state of the art. You can tell Dave takes great pride in his business. His countless stories keep things light and his passion for educating the public is second to none.

I originally came in to pick up a safety lock for my friend's firearms cabinet , and while I took a firearms course years ago where safety was emphasized, ammo was never really explained in detail. I had no idea there were different ways ammunition could be considered "dangerous" that part was definitely eye-opening. After learning what I did, I truly hope I'm never in a position where I'd need to defend myself. But I'm grateful for the education. Plus she did the fingerprints and even took care of mailing EVERYTHING in to DPS to get our permits. Had to add that if you go to the virtual range you can choose from real-life scenarios or simple targets. And Whitney has most makes/models set up for virtual range so you can practice with what you would normally carry. She also clears up myths and makes statutes and rulings easy to understand and apply to everyday carry.

We shot targets for an hour and it was amazing because we enjoyed learning new things and I was able to show my family some techniques that they don't know as they don't go to gun ranges to try out new pistols in New York City. My reason for the 4 stars is... it just would be nice if the staff would offer a quick little safety reminder of Tips to people. Even start just some basic guidelines on the rules of the facility, not necessarily how to shoot a gun, but how to be safe in the space; that way, you don't have to be spoken to, but more importantly, it would be a nice addition just to feel more comfortable. Finally, the gentleman who checked us in was attentive, knowledgeable, and a delight. I would definitely do this more when I have guest come from out of town who have never had this experience.
