This is my second time taking part in a DIY project here. Last year, my daughter made an 11 x 16 inch charcuterie board and I crafted a pretty French Flourished 25 X 25 inch wall clock. I love both of these stylish and useful items! Last Saturday, Nov 23rd, I introduced my girlfriend to this wonderful workshop where she created a tic tac wooden game board and a I, a personalized 18 x 18 inch pillow case for a holiday gift. It is a smooth process from booking to completing your session. After On line, you select your craft, your customization (if you choose to) work date and payment. Confirmation will be sent to you via email. The owner and director, Tanya is so friendly and polite! She answers inquiries over the phone and offers helpful suggestions. She preps everything ahead of time so you just need to show up. Lettering, paints, tools, a clean workspace is ready for you. We had fun working alongside others who were working on their own projects. After a couple of hours, we left with a sanded, painted/stained game board complete with pieces and a ready to use customized pillow case. It really was a fun, inspiring time out! My team and I were looking for something different as far as a work Quarterly event and this was an excellent change up from the normal of bowling, games, go-carts or a picnic. Special shout out to the family owned staff of Emily, Bob & Mary who were gracious hosts that walk through the process for all of the different items the team selected to get made. We had a little bit over three hours to do the various designs that we selected beforehand online (and that was great) and everybody loved everything that they did. The entire experience has really good as this gives you an opportunity to get your hand's dirty while at the same time stay clean and do some great work. I decided to do a hanging canvas with wood paneling using a pre-decorative design. While working through whatever design you have you can always fine tune it whether it's something simple as chasin' the edges, selecting your colors, or specific colors layering when it comes to personalizing your item. If you can imagine it, the 3 of them can definitely help you bring it to life. A misconception is a place like this is only for ladies and it is so not the case. They host a variety of events ranging from Birthday parties, team building events in anything else you can imagine. If you're looking for date night this is also a great option to consider. They do have pre-scheduled dates for events that are going on so I can always look online to see what's coming up. The artwork you see on the wall is available for sale and some of it is just general good artwork that you would love to have hanging around your home to personalize it. If you are bringing a group you're able to bring snacks and any type of food along with some spiritual libations to enjoy the party. We received an email regarding their "thirsty Thursdays: we have the wine". That means they are providing wine right? My wife signed up and took some family there tonight for what was advertised as "Thirsty Thursday's: We have the wine", (insinuating they provide the wine) But they don't. We checked back after and their website does state they are BYOB. it's still very misleading to state explicitly in email "we have the wine" when they don't. Positives: my wife said it was fun. Negatives: no wine, dishonest advert, quite pricey. read more

AR Workshop hosted an employee appreciation event for the company I work for and it was FANTASTIC! They were incredibly helpful and amazing throughout the whole process. From the time when we inquired about doing a private event to guests signing up for the projects to the actual night of! What a cool concept! Had a girls night with some friends and had a great time. The owners were great and incredibly patient and helpful with our projects. We were able to bring in some wine and cheese which added to the girls' night experience. Masks were required upon entrance and all staff wore masks the whole time. We only took ours off when eating/drinking but put them back on out of respect for the staff. Our projects turned out wonderful! I will be back for sure! read more
