My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of taking her Intro to Welding class, and it was an incredible experience. I came in feeling completely out of my comfort zone, but she created such a welcoming and supportive environment that I quickly felt at ease. What makes Ceri so special is not just her talent, but the way she inspires confidence and creativity in others. She has reawakened a creative side of me that I thought I had lost, and I'm so grateful for that. Her passion is contagious, and the impact she has on her students and people in general goes far beyond welding itself.

We've decided to leave and are going to a different tutoring facility in Mesa. The tutors there are still amazing but the leadership doesn't have the same heart for the kids and their learning. I live in the SE part of the valley, so that is too far for me. I decided to give the Gilbert campus a try, and I'm very glad that I did. It was very easy to sign up for classes and the two ladies at the front desk, Kerstin and Charmaine, are very friendly and helpful. The instructors are all very professional, knowledgeable and available to help. Most of them even give their contact information so you can ask them questions outside of class. Most importantly, even though I took the Crash Course, which the instructors say is like drinking from a fire hose, I was able to pass both the school test and the state test on the first try. I couldn't have asked for more than that.

Advice based on my experience:…read more 1- find the teachers that teach in a manner you understand and adjust your schedule to be in their classes, if possible 2- read the chapter before class 3- take notes and pay attention 4-plan plenty of time to do homework the same day you went to class. There's plenty of homework. Do it all, a few times The teachers aren't great about answering questions in an understandable way (example- some asks about question "X". The teacher responds "well it's obviously not A or C so that leaves B or D and B is clearly the better answer of those two. Any more questions?" Umm...if we knew all of that was "clear" we wouldn't ask. I waited to take my school exam until a couple months after finishing school and I had time to really study and retake the exams they give in the packet. I passed my second time. I did buy some of the study materials (flash cards, dictionary and the practice exams on CD) I found these helpful and essential to my learning. Highly recommend the CD!! I passed the state exams the first time.

As a former teacher, I was concerned that 6 hours per week would not make enough of an educational impact but it has been perfect! He is mastering his phonics, learning new songs, making crafts, learning how to better socialize, follow directions, and even play independently without fuss. After four months, he is much better at writing his name and cutting with scissors as well. Mrs. Beth and Mrs. Jessica are so patient, organized, funny and creative. I know that our kiddo is in good hands and appreciate the small class size for extra attention. They are good at communicating any concerns and send out a newsletter with upcoming curriculum, social events(holiday concert, fall festival), requests, etc. If we are still in Arizona next year, we will definitely put our son in the Pre-K class, which meets 3 days per week. This preschool is affordable and exceeded our expectations!

Their Manager Russ ignored me for a week when I tried to call him to sign up and pay for 3 day class which later I found out is not a class but just an orientation when I was told it is was supposed to be a class. they then double charged me and it took several days for it to be reversed. And then was extremely quick to kick me to the curb when they found out I couldn't afford 20k for their classes without any kind of roadmap or advice of what are some other options, which at least would be some common courtesy. I lost money dealing with these people because I paid and then lost days at my job. I highly recommend against dealing with them at all. They were extremely unprofessional in my experience.

I was honestly afraid for his and my safety at times due to his outbursts. He often acted like an animal whenever we went somewhere new or had people over to the house. Screaming, jumping on people and off of high things, running around like a mad man. No matter what I said it seemed like he just literally could not hear me and I was at my wits end. When we got him evaluated it turns out his brain was operating at a 3 year old level when he was actually 6. No wonder he felt so out of control. We decided to sign him up for the works! The center always warned us what to expect from his behavior along the journey and they were always so accurate! It was really hard for the first couple of months but it was undeniable they knew what they were talking about and we knew we needed to trust the process. He finished his program a few months ago and has had time for everything he learned to solidify in his brain. He now operates at his age level or above and it shows! Today a girl was making fun of him and it would have made him go absolutely ballistic a few months ago. Instead he handled it like an absolute champ! Better than some adults. Last night he came up with his own idea and included his siblings to give the adults back massages. I'm so happy to have my sweet, sensitive, caring son back. Worth all the time and money we put in and more! Thank you Brain balance!

I cannot say enough good things about Brain Balance. We've been dealing with behavioral…read morechallenges since pre-K, and after trying different things over the years, we finally decided to give this program a try in November 2025. I was hopeful--but I didn't expect to see this kind of growth. When my son started, he was functioning closer to a 4-year-old level, and now he's meeting expectations for his actual age of 7. That alone speaks volumes. He's more affectionate, more aware of his feelings, and better able to work through them. One of the biggest changes has been how he handles being told "no," bad news, and changes. Before, those moments were very hard for him. Now he's able to pause, regulate, and respond so much better. That has made a huge difference in our everyday life. While in the program, I made the decision to homeschool him so he could fully focus on his development. As of April 1st, he transitioned back into school, and that was a huge moment for us. He was excited to be back with his friends, and now he's able to handle other kids better, even in situations where things feel overwhelming or too noisy. He's also communicating better with his teacher, which is something we struggled with before. Another thing that stood out to me--his pediatrician has always emphasized the importance of nutrition for brain development. This was the first time I was able to see that come together in a structured, real-life way. He has not been formally diagnosed, and we intentionally started with nutrition and lifestyle changes first, which this program helped bring to life. Jacqueline, the director, is amazing. She's supportive, knowledgeable, and gives feedback that actually fits my household and real-life routines, not just generic advice. Ashtyn at the front desk is also wonderful--very personable and great with all the kids. Shout out to the coaches as well--they are patient, engaging, and truly invested in the kids' progress. The whole environment feels welcoming. I'll be honest--the investment can feel high, but seeing the growth in my child, it has been worth it for our family. They also offer different programs, payment plans, and options through the state if your child qualifies. As a Black parent, I also want to say this--getting help for your child should not feel taboo. I'm so glad I moved forward anyway. The growth I've seen in my son has truly surprised me in the best way. We still have more time left in the program, but I'm already grateful for how far he's come--and I would absolutely recommend this to other parents looking for real change.

During some sessions my kid was sitting there barely did any work which they documented but never questioned why he did do one page in 60 mins session or he needed help and nobody motivated him to do more. Another Disappointing point was when we were near the end of our commitment period the owner didn't show any interest or enthusiasm in showing us the results of assessment what he learned and the future plan just sent us an email with some numbers and vague topics.
