We were a group of about 25 employees who attended an event in March 2026. The event was Team Slalom, what a joke! Each driver spent at the max, 1 minute driving a car or even in a car, this was over the course of about 2 hrs. Instructors spent more time on the history of the company and founder, than on safety or driving. We could have done the same event in a Walmart parking lot with two rental cars and about 20 cones. I would NOT recommend this event to anyone. read more

Signing up for the Dodge Charger Daytona EV 1st Call program included a 2 Day experience to learn how to control and balance this 3 ton EV. It started with a welcome email and a white glove experience. On arrival, we were welcomed and in under 15 minutes (sign waivers) we were in the classroom, learning about... SAFETY and Technique. I brought my oldest daughter along to spectate, expecting she would be sent to a bleacher and a warning "Don't touch anything!".... not here. The Radford team didn't hesitate to tell her to join us in the classroom. She got to ride shotgun with the instructor for 2 days and got to participate in capturing lap times and all of our ride along (more on that later). Instructors: Will and Danny - These dudes are awesome teachers. They provide very specific guidance based on their observations of your driving. This wasn't an amusement ride where they just say "Next!"... these dudes are passionate about teaching you how to be a better driver! Getting real time feedback and then being able to apply it was a common practice here. They have excellent communication skills and are incredibly patient. They made me and my daughter feel like family. Experience/Agenda: Dodge Charger Daytona ScatPacks - Electric Vehicle 670 hp AWD Day 1 - We started the day early, 830am. Began with intros and our first lessons; Slalom course, Accident Avoidance, Drift and Counter Steering. These were priceless experiences for an owner of a Daytona EV. That car is 3 Tons! I wasn't really confident in my ability to stop or steer away from an immediate danger until I took this course. There is something liberating about driving 65 mph and slamming on the brakes to really see how quick you can stop or avoid an obstacle with Anti-Lock Braking system (ABS) engaged. Imagine Drag Racing (solo) but you have to watch a Lane indicator to pick a lane or to slam on the brakes. Bruh.. so fun. Day 2 - We started at 8am. Spent 15 minutes in the classroom to discuss a few techniques on Distance to Stop and reviewing guidance on Apex and balancing the vehicle. We get back into a Modified Drag Race drill again... this time, we are practicing brake pressure to avoid engaging the ABS and stopping a precise point. After that, they setup a lane of cones with a wall and a small opening to swerve into while engaging the ABS. :-). The Daytona EVs made it look so easy to stop and when needed to steer with ABS engaged and avoid hitting cones. That made me feel super confident if I were to have an issue on the highway. After that we were onto the AutoCross track, single lap. This is where we start learning how to race and synthesize our teachings into practical application at high speeds. Other than cones, there is nothing to hit. This made training comfortable and allowed me to push the car to its limits. They don't baby you and tell you to "take it easy"... they encourage you to safely execute your newly attained knowledge to develop a skill in a short period of time. I was amazed at how immediate their guidance effected my performance. I learned A LOT! After that session, we headed over to an Oval track (w/ helmets.. serious shit here) and practiced at higher speeds, with more consequence, our new skills of balancing the vehicle in/out turns to maximize our ability to hit our Apex. After that, we went back to the AutoCross track, but they added a 2nd lap. This is where it all starts to come together... lap after lap, improving on our times, experimenting with vehicle settings and learning what these cars can do. Next we headed out to the main Track. This was so much fun. Our instructor set the pace and we got to follow his line. The day wrapped with our instructor Will taking us on his 1st drive of th Daytona EV on the Track! That dude showed us what the Daytona EV can do.... Eat HellCats for lunch! The day wrapped up with an unexpected graduation ceremony. Dodge didn't do the best job for us 1st Call guinea pigs regarding recognition of our leap of faith. Radford stepped up and provided a plaque to showcase and honor our journey as the 1st Dodge Daytona EV owners! We also are the 1st to experience the perks of the 1st Call buyers and being a diehard Dodge fan! Thank you to Josh, photographer, for taking amazing photos. We are excited to see them. The dashcam footage had more than videos... You can download Race-Keeper software to import the videos and it shows the inside of the car and dashcam along with lap times, gps, speeds, times, etc... I had NO IDEA this was part of the package. Super happy I opted for the Full Package! If you do this, don't hesitate to buy this. I brought a drone (they were totally fine with me taking my own video/pics). I am very happy I didn't rely on my shots... this dude is a Pro. Unbelievable experience. My son and I attended the 3 day High Performance Driving Course in June 2025 (Hot doesn't even begin to describe it but school continued like it was nothing). On the first day my 21 year old son looked at me and said that he was too intimidated by the cars and the course and that he wouldn't be able to continue. By the third day he was strutting around like Cole Trickle. Our instructor Lance was superb. Part drill instructor and part psychologist he expertly guided my son through his fear into a confidence that was impressive to witness. I took the 3 day High Performance Driving course and two years later took the 4 day GT Road Racing course. You get a TON of seat time on track and they teach you the skills you need. I'll say this, by day 4 of the GT class I was bending the car around the track at a level I thought I would not be able to achieve, ever. Lap after lap the car was rotating into the corner with proper trail braking, I was clipping the apexes and being forced out to the track edge on exit. It was a surreal experience maintaining near optimal slip angle through the turns, turn after turn. I compete in amateaur motor sports and knew the elite drivers at the events I attend drive at that level but never thought I'd gain the skills to drive similarly. Well, that has all changed. I now need to move those skills to my car. But doing it consistently lap after lap at Radford has made it possible for me to hopefully move into being one of the elite drivers at my local events. Just got back from my 4 day Radford Racing School. I wish that there was such a thing as a 6 star review because if there was I would give it. From the first minute I contacted Radford every aspect of the process was easy to navigate, well organized and thoughtfully designed. The Course : I have seen other racing training programs and to be honest most really are more of a "let's give someone an experience of being in a fast car on a track" . There's typically some classroom discussion, some materials handed out and then the students are strapped into fast cars and sent out on the track. After a couple of hours they are given a t-shirt and a graduation certificate/photo of them in the car and sent on their way. This is NOT the Radford approach ... they start the students with basic exercises that demonstrate how a vehicle handles, why tires grip and how to use the Physics and Tires to make a car do what you want it do. From this ground up approach the students then are able to put the theories into practice through a series of drills. These drills , when strung together, give the student once they go out onto the track the basic skills to begin to understand how a car can be made to handle so it does do what a race car is supposed to do. As I have learned this is so much more than just trying to "DRIVE FAST" on a windy road. The Facility : It's first rate. It's a campus not merely a couple of buildings set on the edge of a race track. The cars...perfect..not a ding, scratch and expertly maintained. The offices and classrooms comfortable, modern and first class. The People : Again...unparalleled. I was fortunate enough to have the majority of my training with the Chief Instructor ..Danny. What a superstar. Knowledgable, thoughtful, funny and able to communicate abstract concepts in a comprehensible fashion. Led by Danny the emphasis with every student always is on safety, building on your skills , giving the student confidence to progress and making sure that the experience is the best possible. Note: You can often judge a business by their employees and their length of service within the organization. Every Instructor I met had been with the school for many years. However every Instructor was enthusiastic, excited about sharing their knowledge and loved teaching. When I left the school after 4 days I really felt not only that I had learned more than I ever thought I could but as if I was leaving a group of friends who had made time to give me one of the coolest experiences of my life. I am already planning to coming back for more schooling in one of the advanced classes and have contacted two friends recommending the school. I attended the 2 day Performance Driving School from 11-17 to 11/18. My only disappointment was it rained the 2nd day, (I mean poured, a rare thing in Phoenix, the instructors said.) So it greatly curtailed our speeds on the final day of the road course. On both days I never had more than 2 other students (and mostly just 1 other student) attending the same classroom and driving portions. This made for a great student\teacher ratio, with lot's of Q & A. William Hawkins was great at answering our questions, but then getting us steered (no pun) back on topic in the classroom portions. I was very surprised at the amount of seat time we got. (Probably due to the low # of students that week) We each got out own car, and were allowed to drive the cone course to our near exhaustion! - Word of caution....work out your neck for several weeks before you attend!! Helmets on your head make your neck muscles very sore in a short time! My biggest impression was the emergency stopping & lane change exercises on the cone course. I did not realize cars could be well controlled and steered reliably with anti-lock brakes in a panic stop. This experience alone could save your life. I got 1 day of the course from Dodge for purchasing a Redeye Hellcat Challenger. I added the 2nd day out of pocket. And it was a very worthwhile investment! You won't go wrong with Radford Racing School. read more

After reading many reviews, I've decided to highlight a major disappointment in my overall experience at the school. They present the option for their photographer to snap photos of your experience. While these pictures are were not ideal cheap, I expected them to be better quality than an amateur. I and another student expressed our frustration to the photographer and he gave us the "oh well, tough luck" message. My first experience with bad photos was from the 4-day course. He took no pictures of me outside the car and didn't work me with to select the ones I wanted. We all know this is typical practice for professional photos. I gave him one more chance with the drag racing school day and purchased one burnout photo. He took one shot and it was very sub-par. This is not a strength of the school. Please hire your photographer at any cost. You will be very disappointed if your hire their in-house photographer. read more

My husband bought me a Dodge Hellcat last year for my birthday. This year, for my birthday, he bought me a 3 day driving course at Radford Racing School! BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER!!! My cheeks hurt from grinning ear to ear for 3 days! When he first told me he was sending me to the Radford School of Racing, my first thought was, "SWEET! When I get home, I can drive even faster!". Remarkably, I learned SO much, now, I only want to go home and drive it safely and efficiently! The instructors encouraged you to push the limit and find your comfort level. In doing so, it was eye opening to me to realize that on a controlled skills track, I was that "idiot" I complain about flying by me, snaking in and out of traffic when I'm in a car. I also parked in the left lane to go faster! Now I understand how scary speeding really is and driving in the middle lane(s) gives me better, safer options to avoiding an accident. I will be applying all the knowledge I learned when I get home. As a 56 years old, I felt I knew it all! I was invincible and totally fearless driving down the freeway. What I learned at Radford is I'm truly NOT invincible. I'm grateful I've never been in an accident and hurt/killed someone on the roads with me, or myself. We learned how to drive in safe and unsafe conditions, weight distribution and how it affects the handling of your car at various speeds, heel toe shifting, steering wheel control, how to listen to your car when it's trying to tell you something, ABS braking, CPR (Correct, Pause, Recover), over & under steering both in the car you're driving and in a skid car, quick reaction techniques, and so many other skills I was never taught in Drivers Ed 50 years ago! We were trained by TOP NOTCH instructors, all of whom are professional racers by hobby or profession. Some pretty famous racers teach and practice at Radford! It was an honor to get to work with such knowledgeable, compassionate, encouraging staff! Even though I was driving the schools car, which can be scary when you're unfamiliar with it & it's capability, the instructors take you through the garage so you can meet the mechanics, again, most of whom race also! You're encouraged to look around, come and ask as many questions as you like, any time you like! That gave me peace of mind knowing I could completely trust their knowledge and experience, which allowed me to push both myself and the car because they shared their background and skill set. That made a HUGE difference for me on track time! I wasn't hesitant, fearful, or afraid to do what I'd just been trained to do because I wasn't focused of something going wrong mechanically! You'll receive classroom time, skills training & free time on your own at various tracks. You never felt rushed, you were encouraged to ask questions, and instructors are available to ride with you while helping you through your concerns. The buildings are immaculately clean & the garage is spotless! There are numerous cars around the facility to admire, a very cool museum, student lounge areas, ample classrooms and an event center. Radford provides lunch, free snacks, bottled water, Gatorade, sodas, etc. ! Many parents put their new teenage drivers through Radford too! I felt that was a brilliant idea & worth every penny spent! Those kids got invaluable classroom training & instructor time with hands on experience in a 500 HP car! The skills they learn may save their life, or another's now because they know the proper techniques to navigate a car and/or the road conditions if they lose control. They'll learn best accident avoidance strategies, car control & what can happen when driving to fast, and how to strategize should something happen. Your child's life is priceless, this school is worth saving their lives! Buying them a Radford Racing School course would make a GREAT graduation gift, birthday, or Christmas gift! You'll have peace of mind knowing the money invested in your child's safety was the best investment you'll ever make! I took the High Performance Driving course recently and loved it. A special shout out to BJ who was my instructor. He did an excellent job of coaching us and keeping out enthusiasm high. The other instructor, William was great as well. And then there was Christine, who made sure we had everything we needed. Fantastic! The course consisted of accident avoidance, braking drills, slalom and heel-toe shifting. We also ran the oval circuit twice in the three days, the road course twice and autocross twice. And then there was the skid pad and the skid car. I did well the first time, but not so great the second time. But BJ was there to bolster my confidence. The cars were well prepared and ran like a finely tuned time piece. And we abused them from tire screeching accelerations to g-force turns on the track to braking from 65 mph multiple times in close succession. The cars were maintained very well. They were checked every day at lunch and at the end of the day (I think). At least twice a day. The facility was easy to get to, clean and comfortable. Christine did everything to make us feel safe (COVID) and welcome. If I could give 10+ stars I would. If you can, go now. It is an awesome way to improve your driving and awareness. read more

I just got back from Radford Racing School. My 19 year old son and myself completed the 2 day High Performance Driving School and we could not be happier with our experience. We had so much fun we are planning on doing the 4 day Grand Prix Road Racing (SCCA) class next. Our instructor Rob was fantastic, he was very encouraging and a great teacher. You can tell that he loves his job, and it showed with the smile on his face and his attitude. These courses will teach you the points of car control, and will help anyone become a better driver. There are aspects to this course that I actually believe that should be taught to every driver before hitting the road. Especially if you have any kind of high performance vehicle I strongly suggest investing in yourself as a driver. So often we invest thousands in our car to make it faster or handle better, when what we need is some training on how to really use our vehicle. Ever see the out of control mustang? These courses will help keep you from becoming the next meme. I am also planning on taking my wife and daughter with me for a course. I am also trying to talk my sister into sending my niece who is afraid to drive in the snow. These courses will make you more confident, a better driver and they are a blast! I cannot express enough of my gratitude for the experience we had. Note that there are times of the year where you can get discounts, just ask Tommy when you call. I just finished the SRT Experience this past weekend, and I can sum it up with one word; AWESOME. The professionalism of the staff and instructors is outstanding. A special thanks to driving instructor Zach who took the time to explain to me in more detail the 'heel/toe' shifting technique. Also a big shout out to driving instructor Will, who made the 'Hot Lap' event a truly memorable one. I am still trying to understand how he was able to get the car up to 90 mph on the back part of the course and maintain it through turns 6, 7 and 8. Mind-blowing! Years ago I had the opportunity to participate in a similar event when the school was known as the 'Bob Bondurant School of Performance Driving.' First, technology has come a very long way. Second, having the entire fleet of cars belong to one automaker (Dodge) is great. But when 99% of those cars are SRT Challengers, with the majority wearing the coveted 'Hellcat' badge. Just returned from the one-day "Demon experience". The entire experience was first class. From the young lady, Katie, who answered the phone when I called to schedule through the staff and instructors, everybody was amazing. Our instructor, Mike, was not only very knowledgeable but at the track in hundred degree temperatures he never acted like he got tired of telling me the same thing over and over again. I've never been to a race track and so there was a degree of sensory overload. The instructors are completely aware of what's happening and were very patient. read more

This is where Tom Cruise learned to drive when he was filming Days of Thunder and Paul Newman has been here too. So lots of coolness to begin with. If you're an adrenaline junky or have a corporate group event that's in the "need for speed" come here! You won't be disappointed! Lots of great memorabilia to see on the walls too. I've put together corporate events all over the world. I've taken customers to see the Great Wall in China, I've taken them to the Hermitage Museum in Russia (home of many Tzars and it houses one of the finest art collections in the world...only 3 million pieces and some from the Stone Age) and I took them to play golf at Pebble Beach in Monterey. I took them kayaking and salmon fishing in the Pugent Sound...I could go on and on but I have to say, I've heard more wonderful comments about this adventure than any other (trust me, they weren't complaining about Pebble Beach!) and since my customer's are so worldly, they can be hard to please! That being said, I can speak candidly and honestly when I write my reviews. My clients are well traveled too so the fabulous feedback I had after this event speaks for itself. I was lucky enough to participate in the driving experience as well and I loved it. What an amazing time we all had! The package I chose included Lead and Follow which lets you race laps around the track in a Camero. I was tailgating our black pacer car the whole way. There were two in each vehicle but I was alone in mine . They provide the helmets and intensive safety reviews! Prior to that, we got to race against a time clock and that was not easy maneuvering around the cones at high speed but our winner got a cool prize (T-Shirt) and the accolades. The group took some cool photos with their cars, and since they were mostly all men, they were in the zone. Everyone had a fun memorable experience! read more

OMG! This is a must for any adrenaline junkie, car enthusiast with a need for speed! This was my 2nd experience attending the school. The staff is always amazingly professional, helpful and patient ensuring everyone has fun while improving their driving skills. If you don't leave with sore cheeks from laughing and smiling all day long then you must've been in the gift shop. The school presently features all Chrysler vehicles from Vipers, Challenger Hellcats and Challenger SRT392's. There's over 100 brand new cars on the track being used in the various venues. There's several events/challenges available on the property from Kart racing, Autocross, obstacle course, lead and follow course to the ever exciting hot laps and many more. First of all Bob Bondurant, still kicking at he age of 83 and attended our event today with his wife and son. Bob is one of the winningest drivers of his time and in history. He opened the school in 1968, originally located in Orange County, Ca but moved in 1990 to the Arizona desert. There's a variety of options available to attend the school, of course all based on your desire and budget. 1 day programs begin around $1225 and go up to 3 days for $3999. Thankfully my 2 visits were work related and let's just say I've got great vendor partners. Truly a first class, professional experience that should be on every car guy's bucket list. I was part of the test group for the Women's Driving Academy, organized by Pam Bondurant. I wasn't sure what to expect, so I came in a blank slate, anxious to learn whatever the world's best drivers were there to teach. It was very cool to hear the backstory for this by Pam, hopefully this will be a successful course Bondurant offers in the future. Because I am a hands-on learner, the Power Point in the morning was a little boring and made me feel back in drivers ed from ~10 years ago. The hands-on experience and getting to drive cars 2-3x the size of my own vehicle made me feel much more at ease as a driver [especially cone-weaving and precision driving around Maricopa Oval]. Some of the first things we learned [not looking to the pavement just ahead of your car, etc] were things I already knew. As the day progressed, the WDA got immensely better. I did the 2 day Grand Prix class, and while I wish there had been more time on track, the experience was awesome. The skills learned in all of the drills will stay with me forever, and that's what's important. The instructors are great - very patient, and don't rush you at all. They want you to improve your skills, and will not make you feel like an idiot if you don't get it right away. read more

Got my daughter a day of excitement for her birthday. The staff especially the office manager are very friendly. The grounds are well-kept and the events are very well organized. The facility is pet friendly and very clean. Impressed that there were snacks and drinks for guests. Really had a great day. Highly recommend for Thrillseekers and adrenaline junkies. Best father-son trip we've ever taken! Of the 13 students attending when my son and I went, three were dads with a total of four sons. Each student gets their own Hellcat for the entire course, starting Day 1, with 797 HP (Nascars limited to 670 HP). The instructors all have professional driving experience and are both helpful and patient. Their tracks are a blast and you get to drive alone or with an instructor - your choice. read more
