When I drove with my Mom once, months before coming to Jacob's, I couldn't even turn properly-- I was so nervous! The first day driving with my instructor (Stan), though, we learned turns in like 30 minutes and then we were on a main road. We went in residential areas, too. On the second day, we went on the highway and the day after we went to the airport (specifically to practice on those spiraling things connected to the parking garage, which I didn't do very well on at first). Then, we continued to practice turns and parking. By the way, three point turns aren't as hard or complicated as they initially seem. We went to one of those expensive neighborhoods on the mountains, and we learned how to do steep uphill and downhill turns. Days following, we practiced and perfected everything that I had learned. Coming to Jacob's greatly diminished any driving anxiety I had before. Now driving is fun because I actually know what I'm doing, thanks to these guys. I recently had my last lesson with them and we went on the airport spiraling things for a second time, and I did it without any instruction and with ease. I was helping my friend when she came to Arizona, she did not know how to drive, and I suggested she goes to Jacob's Driving School for Driving Lessons, as I heard great things about them. So my friend Olga signed up and she was so very happy she did. They have an excellent program for someone who has never driven before. They make sure you're comfortable driving, as well as a safe driver. They teach you a lot of defensive driving techniques to make sure you don't get into accident. They also taught her driving on a freeway. She's not afraid to drive anymore, in fact, she gives me rides now all the time! However, it doesn't stop there. They are punctual, professional and understand the concept of good customer service. They were responsive when I made inquiries and were willing accommodate requests for information. My daughter came in with some experience but left Jacobs Driving School a more confident driver. Outstanding permit class. Jacob's driving school's permit class does an excellent job at teaching all the required knowledge needed to begin driving and obtain a permit. As a student, there was never a point where my instructor's explanations left me confused. I was really nervous the first time I met my trainer Stan, yet he was a fun guy so I did felt more comfortable after 15 minutes. He would remind me where I did wrong again and again but never showed impatience and negative attitude even though I repeated my mistakes A LOT. I can tell he was really knowledgeable and experienced in driving, and although he only had me for a few days I certainly learned a lot from him!! Jacobs driving school was a great choice I took the permit course and the 10 hour driving course both of my instructors was Stan he makes you feel completely comfortable and is an amazing instructor on top of that after finishing both courses you can be exempt from the permit test or road test depending on your dmv and you get a certificate that lowers your insurance RECOMMENDED!!! read more
