I have to say I was very impressed with this company. Alex was a great instructor and I felt very comfortable. Having my daughter take lessons with him. We did the more expensive package that included the DMV test and it was worth every penny! read more

So grateful for this company! I wanted my son to get a really nice foundation as he becomes driver and Go & Drive was an excellent choice. The instructors were knowledgeable and kind, my son enjoyed his drive every time and now that I have him driving me around, I can't thank go & Drive enough for giving him the training and confidence. Thank you Manuel and Greg! read more

We used Go & Drive to help teach my son how to drive by his test this February 2026. His instructor was Sid Hilton and he was excellent! He was very thorough and would provide me updates after each drive as to how my son was doing. We bought the package where Sid was the one who administered the driving test on his last drive which was SUPER convenient. Sid even saved the day when we weren't prepared with paperwork for the DMV. He had it right there for me to fill out. I don't have any other kids to use them again, but I do recommend them for everyone else! read more

We enrolled our sixteen-year-old for the Advanced driving lessons at Go & Drive Driving School, which included five hours of in-car training and an Insurance Certificate. Because I procrastinated, we weren't able to get him driving lessons before he turned 16. He only had two classes with G&D - one before his Driver's License test and one after passing the test. Since he already had some basic knowledge and practice, these classes served as a refresher and additional practice. G&D sent us two different instructors using two different vehicles. Both instructors were punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. I asked for more highway practice for my son, and they were accommodating. After each session, they briefed us on what they covered with my son and areas for improvement. After the second class, my son received a certificate of completion that will hopefully help with our car insurance. I highly recommend G&D Driving School. Although I believe you can't put a price on your child's safety, G&D was more cost-effective compared to another driving school we had considered. read more

Great experience learning to drive with Mitch. He's super patient, explains things clearly, and makes you feel comfortable behind the wheel. I never felt rushed or judged, and he really helped build my confidence. Definitely recommend! read more

Mitch was amazing with our teen daughter. He was patient, fun, and helped her gain confidence! Plus she loved driving the mustang!

After calling/researching other driving schools, I decided on Go and Drive for my twin girls. It was the best decision I have made, couldn't be happier. My girls each had a different instructor, who were perfect for their personalities. One of my daughters had confidence issues with driving, and after the 1st drive with Don, she was so confident and excited for her drives. My other daughter was paired with Zach, and he was perfect fit for her. Both instructors had great communication, the places they took my girls to drive and the feedback given about the drives was amazing. It was also exciting to see what car they would show up in, from a BMW, Mercedes SL550 convertible and Porsche Cayenne! Great experience and highly recommending this company and these 2 instructors. We signed up the end of January. My son had his first lesson in Feb. His first lesson was on a Tesla which apparently can be different from driving a regular car but he had no issues. The next two lessons were in a Ford Edge which he liked a lot. He enjoyed the lessons with all the instructors. The last instructor Alexis gave him his 4th lesson and then the test the same day, March 5th. That day we made an appointment at the DMV and registered for his license on March 8th. Was only in the DMV on Beck for about 10-15 mins. Thank you. Great experience read more

It was just far too long to go without having my license. As a 29 year old without a license(sad I know) and failing the test (also sad I know) knew it was time for professional help. I didn't really have anyone to help me learn to drive so I bite a bullet and payed for the lesson and I'm so glad I did! It was a big expense but so worth it!! The package I got was so convenient, you can test with the instructors and go to the DMV during your lessons. It was so easy for someone busy like me. Shout out to my driver Zeph who made sure I was prepared and ready to go with the skills I needed for the road. He helped me overcome my fear of freeways, and driving in general! I learned everything you need: 3 point turn, parallel parking, freeways, other basic things/rules etc. Over all, I recommend this course especially if you have anxiety about driving like I do. I can honestly say I feel confident to drive and I'm glad I took these courses. read more

I would like to give a strong Kudos here to the owner of Go and Drive, Angel,... I had posted a review on May 10 with what I thought was constructive criticism and maybe I was a little rude. But in today's world, there are many people / vendors that don't care about customer service and or the value of receiving what you pay them for,... It is obvious that Angel DOES indeed care. He called me immediately on May 11 morning. And we addressed my complaints, and he gave me a credit, and we talked through what I expected for my son from the training class. Angel was extremely professional and polite, and I would definitely recommend doing business with him and this driving school. Further, I would like to emphasize that lesson one with Brad was excellent and kudos to Brad the driver coach Thank you Angel. We need more people like you in today's world who care about succeeding and providing an excellent product while listening to the customer base. Go and Drive !!! read more

Wow what a fantastic experience!! Although we started off just a bit rocky, once we found the right instructor it made all the difference. Scott is amazing, if you can request him DO IT!! He is patient and so detailed, he listens and gives great feedback. We so appreciate his expertise and instruction. And my daughter had fun driving the Tesla - way better than the beat up car I had lessons in many years ago!! Thank you Scott!!! We also chose this school because they offer manual lessons and she took one lesson in a beautiful Camaro with another fantastic instructor whose name eludes me. read more

Our son just got his License today after completing driving training. Don was his instructor. Awesome dude. He was punctual, easy to work with and built confidence in our sons ability to drive. We feel safer because of Don and his teaching. I highly recommend this group. Trained and even took him to get his License. Don is a notary so he handles all of the paperwork and process. And our son took the test in a car he was comfortable in as he has been training in it. Well worth the money to have our son prepared for his first solo drive and moving onto the adult world. Thank you Don. You were excellent. read more

Awesome driving school I found on Yelp for my neighbors. My neighbors used them for both of their kids and had nothing but good things to say about price and behind the wheel experience. They asked me if I would do a Yelp shout out for them. I see them everywhere driving. I hope they still are around when my little ones are driving age! read more

I am 37 and suffered crippling anxiety around driving after a loved one passed in a fatal car accident. There was no need for a car in the previous City I lived in. However, upon moving to AZ I realized the metro system was not that great and it would be best to drive myself where I needed to go. Finally, with the help of therapy and wanting to bite my fear in the ass, I decided to get my license. I purchased one of the packages available and selected the time for my first lesson. Cue my instructor Nicole... Witty, cheerful, warm. All of my initial fears melted away while driving with her. She broke down each maneuver in a clear concise way, explained things perfectly, had an answer to all my questions, sprinkled with a little sarcasm on the side to lighten the mood. She had me driving the streets of AZ like a boss!! I got my license on the last day and I'm so excited to crush a fear and drive! Couldn't ask for a better instructor! Super grateful!! Customer service was top notch! Shout out to Leah as well for helping me out online with scheduling!! Great experience! read more

It's scary putting your teenager behind a wheel and can be even more-so picking a company/person that you feel you can trust to perform that task safely and efficiently. My experience of hiring Go & Drive to teach my teenage son how to drive has been so relieving beyond words. The entire process has been smooth, safe, and efficient as hoped for. I got the Supreme package, and Go & Drive took over after that: 1) Permit class where he studied and received his driving permit the same day 2) Defensive driving class the next week (after this class he seemed to have an eye-opener about how to act and things to look out for while on the road) 3) 6 two-hour session of on-the-road training... he learned everything! Scott was his driving instructor, and I am so impressed with his ability to have made Hayden feel comfortable getting in the car, getting on the road, and instilling such confidence in him. I could not have asked for more.. he was professional, timely, and went above-and-beyond to make sure Hayden was ready for all driving situations. Hayden trained in parking, inner-city driving, high-traffic hours, interstate.. you name it. Even cooler, Go & Drive is able to issue an ADOT third-party training certificate that I can present to the DMV when Hayden is eligible for his license; I don't have to take him for further DMV testing. On top of that, I have been issued another certificate for the insurance company showing that he completed the training. Because of the Go & Drive staff and Scott, I feel comfortable sitting in the passenger seat of the car while my son is driving, and I know I'll feel confident in his abilities when he has his license and is behind the wheel his own. That is priceless. read more

Literally a 10/10 school. I decided to apply to this driving school since I was so scared to learn how to drive but luckily all 4 of my instructors were amazing ! Unfortunately I can't remember my first two instructors name but they both made me feel very comfortable driving behind the wheel. I started feeling very confident driving after sometime which really helped with the nerves. On my third drive with ZEPH i felt very confident in my driving of course everyone still makes small mistakes but he was able to redirect me and help correct them. When it comes to me driving I sometimes over think it so I enjoyed having conversations with the instructors it helped keep my mind calm and I got to learn and connect with the instructors! I also just had my last drive which was the driving test which I was super nervous for but ANTHONY was super nice and calm which helped me keep calm. As someone who gets nervous for test I really liked not being told when it was gonna start so as soon as I was told it was done I was surprised but relieved. And I got to drive a mustang I was super pumped. And every car I drove was different so it helped narrow down what car I want for myself. Hoping to sign my younger sister up to get her started that's how well my experience was ! I forgot to mention how easy it was took book the lessons ! I work most of the time so I had to wait a couple of months before booking my last two lessons but that was no problem for them ! I was able to finish with no problem and booked on the dates of my choice and what they had available the staff was so nice especially Cassidy she was the one I mainly talked to read more

I cannot say enough good things about "Go and Drive"! If I could give ten stars I would..our son has Aspergers and was a bit hesitant about driving so it made it hard for us to help teach him. We decided a trainer would be better and my husbands co-worker recommended G&D. My sons trainer "Scott" was absolutely fantastic, he really connected with our son and made him feel so at ease, he came out to our house, picked him up and dropped him off for every lesson. At the end he even took our son to get his license! He did so well and passed everything with flying colors! It was the best money we ever spent. Thanks so much Scott, you were awesome! read more

I am very pleased with the driving instruction my son received from Don Long! When I was teaching him to drive he would often have fluctuating waves of nervous anxiety and overconfident energy, so I wanted to make sure he overcomes this for his own safety and also develop solid skills in general. Don made learning so easy and natural. My son had the best time! I love that they have various vehicles in their fleet to offer custom experiences when applicable, and also allow a parent to sit in the back and observe. I also appreciate their efficiency in the administrative side. Everyone was committed to exceed expectations. Thank you Go & Drive, and thanks especially to Don for the exceptional value he delivered! read more

Signed my daughter up to take behind the wheel training and get her license through drive and go. My daughter was timid about driving and really needed the extra help. Very pleased! I did some research before choosing Go and Drive. What we wanted was for our daughter to get a sense of confidence and real driving hours around the city. (I drive an hour to work and I've seen some scary stuff.) Although she took driver's education in school, we wanted her to have a more dedicated training. I called Go and Drive and was asked some questions about a learner's permit and my daughter's skill level. It was easy and very fast. I paid over the phone and they texted and emailed the schedule. Before each lesson they texted and emailed a reminder. Doug, her instructor, also texted to say he'd be coming and included the time. It was all very, very organized and gave me confidence that the training would be very, very good. Doug took our daughter on streets that have heavy traffic, highways, downtown, 4-ways, roundabouts (even a roundabout that I avoid). I was concerned but Doug said she was doing great. And that's the thing. He's a professional. He isn't her crazy parents. He could chat, watch, advise and guide. The training was what we wanted it to be. Our daughter enjoyed it, said Doug gave her tips to help and she feels more confident. It was a positive experience and I can easily recommend both Doug and Go and Drive. By the way, she got her license and would have written this herself but she's driving herself over to a friend's house right now! Thanks Doug! read more

For someone that's from a different country, and hasn't driven all her life, it's quite a challenge to learn. Well it's not really a necessity for us there (Philippines) since we, for the most part rely on public transportations which are conveniently be found everywhere. I've been here for 3 years now and finally decided to learn how to drive for the purpose of independence and self reliance. Driving is a little too scary for a newbie like me. So my husband and I opted to hire a driving school to teach me since he's very busy. I searched and found this one on the web, well of course excellent reviews really matters to me and this one is on the top of the list. So I called and booked right away! Gladly they assigned me to one of their best instructors, DOUG POVINELLI! He is a very kind, perseverant and patient man. Well, I guess the best attribute they should acquire is 'PATIENCE'! to deal with people like me LOL I mean, of course for a new beginner, I have to be taught the very basic and all. He was very nice from day 1 until I finally got my license! And even their owner Mr. Volker, was also very kind, everytime I speak with him to make some changes with my schedule or have any questions. THANK YOU so much Go & Drive school for the wonderful experience! And for Mr. Doug Povinelli for patiently teaching me! I highly recommend this school and Mr. Povenilli to teach you!
