Our experience with Steer Right Driving School was very positive from the moment that I spoke with Randy; the owner on the phone. I called after 7pm one evening planning on leaving a voice mail to return my call but he answered! And he spent the needed time to walk me through his company, a little about himself, what they had to offer, and the special that they were running on their Platinum Package. After we got off the phone he immediately followed up with a text message with details and the link to their website. I was able to get more educated about the entire Driving School process and the value in the investment of our daughters training which allowed my husband and I to feel more at ease with her driving. I personally recommend Randy who was our daughter's instructor and the Platinum Package which provided (5) two hour driving sessions and the certification in the end. Which alleviated us having to schedule the driving test at the DMV as he is certified to test the driver himself. We basically walked in with our certificate, had her photo taken, paid and done! Randy was always punctual when picking up and dropping off our daughter at the house, always communicated, answered all of our questions, and was overall a very kind, personable, and respectful gentleman. My daughter felt completely comfortable with him and she said he always had lots of tips for her and explained the driving process in words and phrases that were very easy to understand. Hands down I would recommend both Randy and Steer Right Driving to anyone; no matter the age or the skill of the driver. Definitely worth the peace of mind and investment in my daughters safety when driving! Thank you! The Fiori's read more

This Driving school is really great! They are flexible and worked with us well. Our schedule was not too demanding. My daughter needed to take the full driving and testing package. There's a certificate that can potentially reduce the cost of her insurance. She drove with the owner and other instructors and was very calmed be their instruction. They all helped her confidence and ability far more than I could have myself. The vehicles she drove were in excellent condition. I'm very happy with our decision and results. Thank you all! read more

Prompt scheduling, affordable, Professional, and very courteous!! I'd recommend them to everyone!!

I am so privileged that the owner Randy himself was my instructor. He scheduled me in a very short notice. He was very alert, professional, kind and patient. He will go over and over again till you master the skills. He did an outstanding job to overcome my difficulties and obstacles I was facing on road test at the age of 65. The best part is I successfully passed my medically necessary Road Skills Tests and I do not have to renew my driving license till I am 71 years old. I am forever grateful. read more

I dodged a bullet with Steer Right. You call, the owner Randy picks up, sweet talks you. He says there's lots of spots. He then says "you have to pay the non-refundable $800 upfront to even view our schedule". Heck to the no! If there's lots of spots, you should have this available before paying. I've also seen reviews where it says the owner talks about his political views to clients. Yikes! That stuff should stay home. By the way. The company says it's rated A+ by the BBB. The truth is, it's not rated by the BBB. Keep looking! read more

Loved the school! The teachers were awesome. The website is terrible. The availability is even worse it's next to impossible to get on the schedule. Sadly I can't bring myself to enroll my other kids here. read more

I would give zero stars if I could . I agree 100% with the other reviews. The "owner" answers the phone the first time you call and is kind and answers all your questions and refers you to the website to enroll and states after you enroll you'll have access to the calendar to schedule lessons . Which is true . I received an email right away to set up lessons. However there are ZERO lessons / days available. After you pay he will no longer take your calls and it is very challenging to get him to reply to your texts. He did reply to a few of my texts at the beginning and even took my daughter out for a lesson one time . And during that first lesson took her right on the 202.!! Eek. He has since not responded to any texts I've sent. His website site also says A+ BBB. This company is NOT affiliated with the BBB. read more

There is no way to find an open schedule for my son to attend lessons. Go to another provider and DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. The scheduling system is prehistoric, no offerings are shown for upcoming weeks, so there is no way to secure a spot even three or four weeks down the road. My son started a job and needs a car, we paid the fees, but nothing. I enrolled my son two weeks ago after talking to the owner, who reassured me about the availability of openings in the afternoons since my son attends high school in the mornings. He even mentioned that my son would be able to complete all the lessons in consecutive days. He was nice. However, after I paid, he does not respond to either my calls or emails. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LACK OF ETHICS. That enrolling in classes is nearly impossible was likely omitted from the conversation on purpose. Go somewhere else and save your money. read more

I've been referred to this company by another happy customer, that's one positive. Also, I realize that this is a family business, that's another positive. My son and I are very happy with this company, for their kindness compassion and patience, and above all professionalism. We were very lucky to have Randy be my son's instructor he puts him at ease. he is a top-notch instructor, not to mention, that he's kind, thoughtful, and flexible to accept dealing with our schedules. I highly recommend this company, I promise you, your family would be happy doing business with Steer Right driving school. read more

These guys! I'm so impressed with Randy and his family. They are very easy to work with, friendly and have a passion for teaching people how to drive! I love that it's a family business. We were having such a hard time teaching my son how to drive. Like every other teenager, he knew everything already! After researching driving schools all over the Valley, I came across these guys. With NO negative reviews and a lot of positive comments. They are great. And I'm proud to say today my son passed his driving test! There goes our insurance! Thanks again Randy and Family! read more

I would not recommend this company. They have no spots available outside of school hours. They are not responsive when we ask for times available. We have called and texted and they don't respond. We paid for 10hours and driving test and now almost a year later we still have sessions we can't book. I have asked for money back they don't respond. I have asked to move the other session to my daughter who could use them, and they will say "We can fit her in, I will check the schedule and get back to you." And then never get back to us. I would go somewhere else if you have a driver who is school age and has a job. They have nothing available for months at a time, and then they have zero integrity about getting back to us. read more

Wow, wish i read all the reviews before paying for this service. I probably would have still signed up for it because i talked to the owner first and told him when i would need time for my kids and he acted as if he would make it work. Two driving lessons down ( have two kids enrolled so they both went on one saturday then they both went on the next saturday, that was 3 weeks ago), then i hear absolutely nothing from them. Website sucks as some of the other reviews have said. They pretty much overbook and take your money anyway. I have texted them and you can see when they read it. Its been over a week since i have sent two texts and they have ignored me. I had to figure out how to schedule online, which was messed up big time. So now we have to wait until the end of the month to even get the 3rd driving lesson which by that time will be almost two months since the last. This costs over $700 each kid if you choose the full package. So i have spent a pretty penny on this, only to be ignored and have to wait forever. If they had a full schedule with no time, they should have been respectful and told me that in the beginning. But i guess they are greedy and want my money and offer me under par service! So i guess i get to piss and moan and just leave them a not so good review! read more

Great instructors who went above and beyond! Highly recommend them.

So glad that we found Randy! He is a great instructor with a nice way of teaching. Our grandson was nervous but Randy really helped to calm him. And he passed the driving test on the first try! read more

I signed my son up a month ago and they have yet to provide any lessons. The only two they have posted since were through the day when he is in school. Unacceptable. I have called, texted and left messages and still nothing. I have requested a refund and still no answer. Worst customer service ever. Don't waste your money. Go somewhere else. read more

My son went out with Randy yesterday and had a great experience. He was taken out on the freeway and to the areas I have avoided while teaching my son. He was patient, informative and attentive. Got his certificate at the end of training. Highly recommend and will be using Steer right again for my other teens! read more

Steer Right Driving School was the best experience for me. They made me confident about my driving. They taught me skills that I didn't think I had. Everything was explained throughly which made it really easy. I always felt safe when I was driving even in the highway. They are very friendly and confident when teaching. The price was amazing especially for a college student like me. I highly recommend this driving school for anyone. read more

Randy and Jerry were great instructors for my 16 (son) and 17 (daughter) year old teenagers. They have very flexible hours and work with the parents to see where your teen needs additional practice. So glad to have enrolled my daughter for driving lessons with Steer Right! From the very first lesson, her confidence was boosted vs. me teaching her to drive. What a difference. She just got her license and feels so much more comfortable and relaxed behind the wheel. Now I can ease up a bit to know she has had the proper training. Randy was so great to work with. Quick with responses and really flexible with schedules. This is an investment well spend. Highly recommend! read more

If you care about security on the road, then there's simply one choice to make : take lessons with Steer Right Driving School. Our daughter learned fast and seriously and feels now comfortable on the roads thanks to Randy's program. We're extremely grateful. read more

Great driver training. My teen did the 10 hour course plus driving test. Steer Right matched the lower price of another company. The trainer picked her up at home and school. We had many options in driving time and dates. I liked the 5- 2 hour driving sessions verses the 4- 2 1/2 driving sessions. Definitely would recommend. read more

Thank you for everything. You were dealing with a nervous driver and he has came out the other end confident and delighted! Thank you Randy & PandaLee! read more

Great program. Randy and his team made my daughter feel comfortable and confident. Well worth the $!

This is a great school and Randy (my instructor) was amazing!! I had no experience on the road and completed the 10hr course with him. He was very kind and patient and made me feel comfortable while I was on the road. read more

They were fantastic for my 16 year old! Highly recommended! He was comfortable with the trainers, but not too comfortable. He learned a lot and was able to take the driving test with them. As a mom of four, this was so convenient so I didn't have to spend a day at the MVD to get it done. Then we took their certificate to a third party licensing office and finished getting his license in half an hour! read more

They taught my daughter more in the first 2 hour lesson than I had in over 1 month of trying. They are very nice and easy to work with. My daughter's nerves were eased after the first lesson and she really enjoyed learning from them and she learned everything she needed to pass her driving test with just 5 lessons. Well worth the investment! read more

My daughter took 10 hours of lessons plus the final road exam from owners Randy and PandaLee. You will not find two nicer people. My daughter was instantly comfortable and therefore I was, too. Instructors gave me several choices of days and times to accommodate my daughter's winter break from school and beat the deadline of her 16th birthday. Randy sent me videos of the driving to show me that she made it onto the freeway, which is something I couldn't bring myself to do with her, and the primary reason I hired this service to begin with. The entire drive was recorded for safety purposes. Love that! My kid's safety is priceless, so this was $500 well-spent. They gave me door-to-door service. Pick up and drop off right at my house, and exactly on time. I didn't have to lift a finger. Plus, I don't have to deal with the sh*t-show at DMV now. Her certificate of completion is in the system and I can go in and bypass the lines and just get her pic taken. I plan to do that at a third party location. Yay! No DMV! read more

What a great experience from start to finish!!! I recommend them to everyone. They are friendly and very patient.

The absolute best driving experience out there. I came in there excepting good things and came out with a better understanding

After calling many schools, Steer Right was the best fit. Professional, knowledgable, best price, etc. Having twins, it was an added bonus that they would bring two vehicles/instructors and work with them individually. Ray was flexible with the scheduling and prompt to return calls and text messages. I have recommended them to another twin mommy for all the reasons above. read more

I had an awesome experience at Steer Right. I literally neverrr write reviews but this time it was only right that I shared my experience. I had always been afraid to drive. My first driving lesson with my dad was horrendous. I honestly almost killed both of us when I drove towards incoming traffic. I was 16, and I never touched the wheel again until I was 28. When I called Randy to inquire about the driving school I was nervous, and a bit embarrassed to be learning how to drive at the age of 28. The embarrassment quickly left. He is such a great instructor. He assured me that I could learn how to drive and that starting at the age of 28 wasn't a big deal at all. Its a family business and you definitely will get the feel of it. I also had lessons with his wife as I opted for the ten hour instruction package. She is amazing! Always calm, always collected and very patient. She's more of a visual teacher so expect a napkin to come out at some point as she demonstrates positioning of the vehicle haha. Its pretty comical but funny enough it really helped me understand how to park. I could literally go on forever but I'm going to end it here and say thank you guys soo much! You were definitely a great choice. read more
