My husband and I both have large trucks and my teenager really didn't feel comfortable driving either when he first received his permit. I found the package that would best fit our needs on the website. Ten hours in car driving with them administering the DMV road test with the last lesson. After paying for the lessons they send the recipient an online gift certificate. Booking online was a breeze. Photos and times available for each instructor easy to maneuver. After three lessons the instructor did state my son needed some more in car driving practice prior to booking his last lesson / road test. After each lesson the instructor emails a report on what needs to be worked on before the next lesson. Both instructors my son had showed up on time and were personable and answered our questions. So easy having them pickup at my home. Pricing competitive to others, but priceless in my book. Driving with these men gave my son the confidence he needed behind the wheel. Totally recommend and we didn't have to stand in line at DMV.

My daughter became much more confident and the instructors were really great. They took her…read moredowntown, on freeways and performed her test at the end. Worth every penny

My son Zack started a 7 session course on June 2nd, and got his license yesterday, 3 weeks later…read more Lewis was an absolutely phenomenal instructor. Zack said it was like learning from a friend. I was so impressed with how well he was doing after the first three sessions. He would drive and I wasn't afraid at all. (This is a huge difference from when I first let him behind the wheel!) Lewis and I were able to talk and he told me everything that Zack needed to work on. We put several hours in on the road between driving lessons to work on those things and I could see Zack's confidence increasing every day Only one session needed rescheduling due to Lewis not feeling well, but that wasn't an issue at all. The test was during the final session Monday night and due to the top notch instruction received, my son passed! We were able to go the DMV yesterday and get his license with no hoops to jump through! I am so happy with Arizona Driver Training Academy that I will use them again when my other son is ready to start his journey. I would highly recommend using this school available in Casa Grande as well as Mesa!

A week goes by and no one called, I called back and he said she would get in contact to schedule. I received a text on December 11 and the first appointment was a month away. The second appointment she cancelled 1.5 hours before the appointment and said it was too windy. I took video of the wind in case it was necessary and it was not too windy. I explained I work nights and it's hard when last minute cancels take place and asked if this happens often and she said no. Then after the second lesson she said it would be best if my daughter did 1 hour lessons instead of 2. I said ok because I am not a teacher and I don't know. Towards the end of her lessons I notice Chamille still doesn't know how to drive during my practices with her and explained that I think the 1 hour lessons was a mistake because by the time she gets use to it it's time to turn around and go home. She also hasn't been on 1 freeway or really any real streets with the exception of 1 time. So never taught parallel parking, never taught how to make a u turn and never been on a real freeway at this point. She agreed to do 2 2 hour lessons at the end to make this correct and I agreed. She then cancelled the first one and said she was sick, she then cancelled the second one and said she was still sick. When I text back that these lessons had been dragging on for 3 months she had the nerve to yell at me and say the next 2 dates for the lesson. She showed up and took Chamille on the freeway and just like I thought Chamille started finally learning how to drive. She showed up for her last appointment and they left. When they were almost 30 min late I wondered what happened, they show up and my daughter looked upset and she said she tested her during her lesson and she failed. I immediately was furious and said why would you test her without talking to me first to make sure she was ready?! She said she told Chamille, which Chamille said she thought it was a practice test and she didn't even know. This whole experience was absolutely horrendous and stressful and I can't see how this is legal or even ok to treat people this way. 3 months and she just now got on a freeway 1 day before her test?! I want at the very least my money back so I can hire a new driver to get this done with, an apology would be nice as well but I'll settle for a refund. I attached the correspondence between her and I all via text and no place does it state her test would be included in the last lesson or anything like that. Thank you Sandra Lynn Craig

Since I was a loyal customer, and my daughter still needed a lot of work behind the wheel, I asked if we could have a small discount on our next hourly session. To my surprise, they said no. I took my business elsewhere and within 3 hours my daughter finally understood how the traffic lights in Arizona typically flow and how to turn left on a flashing yellow. NControl isn't bad. NControl Driving School was excellent for my teenage driver…read more I was referred to NControl by friends and co-workers who used them for their teenagers and had nothing but great things to say. I loved Nikki in the office. She was my first impression to NControl and she is AWESOME! She was very informative and could relate to a new teenage driver being on the road. Nikki got my teenager enrolled and we were off and driving pretty quick. We were able to schedule our lessons ahead of time so long as my driver was doing his "homework" between lessons. The driving sessions are 2 hours long, which is (was) long for a teenager, but we built up to those with several 60-90 minute sessions at home. The skid pad day was fun as it actually rained for a little bit giving the drivers some wet conditions. All of the instructors were very patient and professional, but I have to say Chuck was the favorite as my son had him twice for lessons. If you are in the east valley and need a great driving school, NControl is a no brainer!

He had many stories to tell about his days trucking and mistakes he made so we won't do the same. he also showed us many learning videos and even ones of mistakes, not to scare us but to ensure safety and show the real world of trucking. We practiced paper log books so we don't look like fools if we had to do one with a company. He also gives us many companies to apply to and showed us how to check companies backgrounds. John seemed proud of me passing my DMV test which shows how much he cares about his students. Kenny was my driving instructor and he is very patient, detailed, and genuinely cared about making sure I learned everything the right way. He didn't just rush me through the course he made sure I understood the skills and safety behind driving, however I am a quick learner and was at the range for 4 weekends ( Could have been 3 but he wanted to make sure I was 100% for my DMV test so he did a mock test with me the weekend before my actual test) . He had many tips and tricks to learning fast. He pays a lot of attention to every student and makes sure all our needs are met! I had lots of time on the road and practicing skills. I'd definitely recommend Kenny as a driving range instructor he's knowledgeable and cool to be around ! Mike was okay, I had him on my first day and didn't really learn much from him. We did the air brake test then he left me with another student who was great but it felt a bit awkward. Mike seems to get pretty frustrated easily which can make you feel more nervous/stupid. He talks a bit too much about things that aren't important for training. Adam took me to take my driving test at the DMV, that was my first day meeting him. He was very professional and kind. He was very proud of me for passing on my first try! I feel confident starting my career because of the training I got here. SHOW UP, STUDY AND PAY ATTENTION! Don't be the person who's there for many weeks overtime! Highly recommend!!

I'll stay in contact with Yanis and Adam as long as I can and as I now start my new life journey as a CDL A driver. I passed my final exam with ease with the help and guidance of these guys. For anyone who leaves a bad review clearly don't understand how hard it is to run a company let alone keep trucks fully maintained and driving properly. Adam, is such a great genuine person who has everyone's best interest at heart. We need more people like him in this world and I can't thank him enough for believing in me more than I believed in myself. Considering everything he has to do and on his plate he gets it done like the professional he is. Bless this man. Yanis, is such a gem. He does so much with so much on his plate as well and still goes out of his way to talk to us and make sure we're good with everything in school. He also believed in me since day one and makes great connections with his students. People don't give him enough credit. Kenny, as much as I didn't get to work with him as much as I wanted too, he is a walking library of knowledge. He's passionate about teaching and it shows. He's also an absolute genius with trucking. Thank you John wheeler school for helping me change my life for the better and helping me become a CDL A driver. Hard work pays off and it takes a village to get to where you want to be in life.

She tells everyone that if you even do much as look towards phone she will kick you out if the class and you won't pass. When I tell her that I'm a single mom who needs to be reachable in case of emergencies since my kids are home with a sitter. She tells me that I will be released from class and not pass. I'm like ok well I kinda have no choice but to be available to be reached if there's an emergency, I have no family in this state, it's kinda part of being a parent. She says well as long as your fine with not passing. Then she asks rudely "what are you planing on having an emergency?" I went to go to the bathroom three times. Each time she forced me to show her that I had left my phone at my seat. Never once did I even try to sneak it, and she was still extremely rude. I finished my test early and she stated to the class that no one was to use their phones even if we finished early. At the very beginning of the class another guy left due to her nasty controlling attitude as well. He stated "I'm not going to sit here through this class with the bad attitude"! I should've left with him. I completely understand that people can be rude during classes, especially when their bored. In no way am I stating it is ok to have your phone ringing, texting continuously, or scrolling during the class. I like many other people who attend this class am a grown adult of 40+ years with a degree. I do not deserve to be treated like a child because this instructor was on a power trip. If someone were to behave rudely and warrant such behavior I would completely understand. The problem is that I did not at any point warrant this treatment by asking to be able to be reached for emergencies with my children during an eight hour day. Singling a single parent out because of a requirement of their life is so utterly unprofessional. I contacted the office during a break to ask for management to call me back. They called while I was in the class so I couldn't answer. I texted to say I would call after the class. The one single text I sent. The teacher states in class that she should have me not pass for it. I let her know it was her boss I was texting. I spoke to Claude the manager who was less than helpful and only had several excuses to give. He stated I couldn't have my phone ringer on. Which, sir I never requested to have my ringer on. I only requested to be able to answer my phone if an emergency happened. Nor did I ever have my ringer on. Nor did I ever request to text or act rudely with my phone towards your teacher during her class. No true customer service or even a simple apology for spending eight hours with a sixty year old lady on a power trip.

She signed me up for the class/es I needed within a reasonable timeframe. I received 2 follow up emails after the scheduling, one confirming registration and one with a link to pay for the class. While reviewing the emails I noticed there was no reference to confirmation that one was virtual. I emailed them back to follow up. I received a phone call from a woman named Kelly. Unlike the first woman who helped me, Kelly seemed inconvenienced by my questions regarding the classes I was signed up for. She explained that the original woman who helped me signed me up for classes that were already full. I get it, No big deal, people make mistakes. I attempted to explain to Kelly that I had been looking to complete the classes as soon as possible. She continued with her inconvenienced tone, telling me she wasn't home so she couldn't check the schedule but I could stay scheduled for the class as I was and hope people didn't show up so I can get in. She irritably stated information that contradicted the first woman's information, as if she was suggesting it was my fault for scheduling the classes the way I did. She continued to give me information in her inconvenienced, irritated tone until I told her it sounded like it may not work with her class and I may have to look elsewhere. Her irritably increased as she stated "Sounds great. I'll go ahead and remove you from the classes then. Have a great day, bye." And disconnected the call before I could speak. I would not recommend this company. This is a difficult time for everyone, and I understand tensions may be high for some. However, when in the customer service industry, it is the employees job to maintain their composure and be respectful to the customers they hope to serve. I Would not recommend this company. There are so many alternative options for the same services this company offers, with much higher standards for the way they engage with their customers.
