This is such an amazing motorcycle courses.I was able to take the two day basic rider course and not only were the instructors extremely knowledgeable, but they were also very patient and friendly no matter if you have been riding for a few years, or this is day one for you. They all treat you the same and understand that you are there to learn and be able to get your motorcycle endorsement. They go through every exercise step-by-step and ensure that you understand it before they make you do the practical for it. They are extremely unfriendly with their scheduling. They require you to attend at 6:00 am - already pretty abusive. But then, when you arrive 11 minutes late, they tell you that you are not welcome because you are late. I cannot recommend this place more. Experienced teachers who are fun but highly structured and safe. The equipment from bikes to gear are excellent and the course that you practice on is spacious and well suited for the training even with a large group. Dale did great and made the classroom time fun after a tough day in the sun and after lunch. Two days with split time between on bike work and classroom. The price is straightforward and they never try and upsell or nickel and dime you. The group setting quickly develops camaraderie and you will soon find yourself rooting for a stranger lol. If I could offer one recommendation it would be to erect a sunshade, carport or something over the staging area in the summer. It was a little rough out there at 110 and we spent a good deal of idle time there and it also heated up the seats. I guess you could argue that is just more training for what riding a bike would be like in AZ lol. read more

From absolutely no knowledge of how to drive a manual, never riding a motorcycle, and no pre introductory course I was able to pass both the written and riding test with a perfect score in just 2 days! This course was so much fun, and I learned so much. A huge shoutout to my instructor Chris for helping me succeed. There were moments in the course where I doubted myself and he reminded me to just keep moving forward and giving it my all. The teachers do a great job of being knowledgeable and approachable. As shown on the TEAM Arizona website and what's told in class is you get out what you put in. It is possible to pass this course with little to no prior knowledge but the true ultimate test is how dedicated you are as an individual as well. Instructors helped you relax and guide you along your path to learn to ride. I passed my training and not I have my endorsement for motorcycles. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to get an endorsement to ride legally. I should have done this years ago. My husband and I took their 2-day Basic Rider Course. We were SO impressed with the class and staff. Classroom - Sean K was our instructor for this portion. He was fantastic. He's a former motorcycle cop, so his real world experience was helpful in setting expectations for the new motorcyclists. He was professional, personable, and did a great job of trying to include everyone without forcing you to speak (I mean, who likes that?). We had 32 people in our class, which initially seemed like a lot but Sean handled us like a pro and the size of the class didn't get out of hand. Classroom is 3 hours each day (with a couple of breaks). Honestly, that three hours flew by with Sean. Range time - Our instructors were Joe and Ally (and Seanna, who was in training). When you sign up, they ask for your height and if you have any experience and then when you get out there they do a good job of matching you with a bike that you can handle (honestly, this was my biggest fear - getting one of those GIGANTIC cruisers). I got a Honda Rebel, which suited me perfectly. The bike experience portion was laid out absolutely perfectly, you aren't expected to hop on and hit the throttle - you're taken slowly through the process, starting with just kind of wheeling back and forth to get a feel for it (which really helped me realize that the bike was the perfect fit for me). They made sure that everyone 'got' each exercise before moving on to the next one. Both days were 5 hours on the range, with breaks. It was five LONG hours because you're working every bit of the time - either actually riding or intently listening to the next set of instructions. They made it fun, but I never for a minute felt it an unsafe kind of fun. We were exhausted at the end of both days (be sure to get a good night's sleep and drink lots of water, because there is a range test at the end of day two). While the classroom size was 32, our range class size was much smaller - they broke us into three groups (12, 12, 8). I felt like we had a lot of individual attention (they even wrote our names on the front of the bikes so that they could address us by name, which was cool). The bikes seemed well-maintained, no one seemed to have a problem with them, the staff even rides each before every class to make sure they're in perfect shape for us beginners! My husband is a former paramedic and I used to work in the insurance industry - we both highly recommend you at least take this kind of course before you get on a motorcycle (many insurance company's offer a discount for successful completion). Team Arizona has more learning opportunities beyond the Basic Course, too. After day one of the class we decided we'd be pursuing the next class in a few months, after we get some experience under our belts. Go online and book that class now! Prior to 12/12/24, I had 0% experience riding a motorcycle and 100% fear of trying, but decided to face my fear and insecurities when I saw TEAM Arizona - Gilbert was offering an All-Women BRC led by female instructors. WHAT A BLAST and very impactful experience! For a question-asking, over-analytical thinker like me, I couldn't have been blessed with better instructors than Andrea and Ally. Andrea made sure I understood the "what", "where", "why" and "how" in the classroom. Then, Ally made sure I applied the "what", "where", "why" and "how" on the course. Was I terrified? SHOOK LIKE A BABY DEER. Did I make mistakes? LEFT AND RIGHT. Did I fall? EMBARRASSINGLY. But Andrea and Ally created an atmosphere that gave me the courage to get back, shake it off, and keep applying what I was learning. They made it easy to walk away from that class feeling encouraged that I now know how to ride a motorcycle. Something I never, in a million years, thought I'd ever be able to do. What an exhilarating weekend I had with this course. It stands out more than any training class I've ever attended for the obvious love these people have for what they do and their commitment to helping you learn the skills needed to ride. They value safety first and fun is a very close second. The class starts without the bike even being on and (if you listen to their instructions) ends with you riding smoothly over obstacles and being able to swerve to avoid hazards on the road. Bailey and Alex are incredible instructors. We met "T" because he made himself available for any questions during our lunch. And he wasn't kidding, he walked us through any silly or serious questions or concerns we had about riding. Buddy is a great support. He wasn't my instructor but helped me find gear, cheered me on from the sidelines, and offered useful pointers for my first solo ride. Recommend this class to anybody and is worth every cent. I took the BRC on 1/30/22 and I was super nervous, feeling like I was being rushed or pushed past what I was comfortable with as someone who doesn't know anything about motorcycle's and being a woman. The instructors Keith and Robert made the whole experience very comfortable and well within my limitations. Every step was made very clear and there was plenty of time to practice for the celebration (test) not to mention James, the classroom instructor who made learning all this new information very simple and to the point. I recently attended two days of classes at the facility in Tucson on November 9th and 10th, and have to say, it was VERY beneficial and helpful! I can't imagine just going to the DMV, then taking the written and skills tests without this training. The added benefit of the training, you DON'T HAVE to go to the DMV other than to get your motorcycle designation added to your license once you pass! Both days of training consist of mornings in the classroom, then afternoons out on the range, learning and performing skills on the motorcycles. The school has a bunch of different types of well maintained motorcycles, so you're sure to get one that fits your size to train on. The two days are LONG and you'll be tired, but it's terrific and fun, too. They really do set you up for success both for the real world and to pass the tests late on the second day. When you pass and get your card, it's a real achievement. The trainers are personable, and often funny, and VERY tolerant. In our class we had a jerk wiseass and they gently would put him in his place. He wouldn't remain there long, but they did a nice job managing him. They are excellent teachers, very patient, coach you on how to improve or do the skills better, and answered questions readily. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced rider, I highly recommend this course. For the new riders, you'll come away feeling much more confident on the bike and ready to begin riding out in the world. For experienced riders, the class will open your eyes on the bad habits you may have developed over the years, and is a terrific review of safety and functional information you may have forgotten. The failure rate is VERY VERY low, but if you don't pass the class, they offer you a voucher to do it again or re-test. It's extremely fair. They WANT you to pass, but if you aren't ready to be on the road, if you don't pass, they're 'failing' you for your own safety and best interests. One other point, I both highly recommend taking this class if you're planning on riding a motorcycle, AND I suggest taking the class when the days are cooler, you're out there on the range from roughly 12:30p to 5:30p for two days, and you'll enjoy it a LOT more if you aren't baking on the bike.
