I was terrified to put my daughter In school as a first time mom. I actually couldn't handle the anxiety so I pulled her out after I was sobbing all day the first day she was gone. Well, penny and the staff were not only empathetic but made me feel comfortable doing things on my own time table. So when I decided to try again a week later I was welcomed with open arms. The quality of the teachers here feels more like a family. Everyone in the school helps each other. Miss Jazzy, Miss Caitlin, really every single teacher I have ever met has made me feel like home. They all know your child and love your child. Miss Wulan and Miss Ann Marie were her home room teachers and wow. These woman.. they don't make them like this anymore! Positive, loving, personal, engaged are only a few ways to describe them. They have been absolutely instrumental to Logan's growth and experience. She has thrived and become a social butterfly. These teachers never look tired and are always up beat. Ms Chrystal at the front desk always welcomes you with warmth and familiarity and never judged how many incident reports my daughter had. I was always met with comfort and understanding whenever I was worried about something my Daughter had done! And the school is owned and managed by Penny who is a GEM of a human being. These women are loving, smart, and are valued so much. They deserve the world and I'm so grateful to have found them. I'm forever in debt to this school and all it has done for myself and my daughter. Also, they know how much I love them and never once asked for a review. But if you are a nervous mom, or want an honest take, please ask penny for my number and I'd be happy to walk you through how they made this experience incredible.

From the very first visit, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. You can tell the team really loves what they do. Our main teacher is always so happy around the children, you can feel her joy, and it really stood out compared to other places we toured. All the teachers are kind and smiling, and they take the time to connect with both the children and the parents. It's such a warm, supportive environment. Literally everyone is so nice! Another huge factor for us was safety and peace of mind. As a parent, being able to drop off your child without worrying is everything, and this preschool makes that possible. The classroom ratios are low, the environment is always clean, the sign-in process is secure, and they're thoughtful about food and nutrition. We've also had no issues with recurring colds or back-to-back illnesses, which has been such a relief. All of that makes a big difference. They've also been incredibly flexible, willing to work with us to make sure our child feels comfortable, whether that means bringing a favorite stuffy from home or making food & drink accommodations. They even have an easy, healthy lunch ordering system, which has been such a plus for our busy mornings. There are always fun activities and themes planned, plus special events like Splash Days and the petting zoo! We get daily updates (naps, meal times) and photos, which we look forward to every day. Our child is always excited to go, and it's clear the other children are happy too. This location has such a cozy, close-knit feel, and the whole team is just wonderful. We're so thankful we found this place, it truly feels like a second home. Special thank you to Ms. Sydni, Ms. Crystal, Ms. Maressa, Ms. Diane, Ms. Caitlin, Ms. Jazmine, Ms. Mahjoba, and Ms. Penny, you've all made such a difference for our family

We intend to keep her in PCA till its time to go to Kindergarten as well...and that's because we absolutely adore PCA. The teachers are loving, the environment is safe, structured, and supported by dedicated administrative staff (Ms. Betsey and Ms. Sarah). We have seen our daughters' intellectual abilities develop and flourish under their care. Ms. Leslie and Ms. Juliet are a great team, while Ms. Noelle, Ms. Kim, and Ms. Danielle dote on our little one, ensuring that at each morning drop-off, my baby is excited for the handover. Simply put, this is an environment I highly recommend and deeply trust. I encourage you to visit, meet the staff, and see the warmth, engagement, and structure it will provide your children.

My son has been in the 3-4 year old class for a year, and his social skills have grown so much. His classroom has 12 kids and 2 teachers. The low student:teacher ratio allows them to do a lot of crafts, sensory bins and games (e.g., Doggy, doggy, where's your bone?) that wouldn't be possible in a larger classroom. They have music once a week with one of the pastors as well as chapel once a week with the lead pastor where they learn Bible stories. It's play-based with lots of free play time for the kids, and they have a great, shaded playground with the usual playground equipment, a climbing dome, tricycles, little cars, and a sand area (where my son spends every recess with building with the toy trucks). We tried 3 different local preschools for my daughter: the first had way too many kids in the classroom = chaos; the second was a classroom of 12 students like LOC but only one teacher and the curriculum was all worksheets at a desk; and the last was a Montessori school that we liked but cost more than 3 times what LOC does for the same number of hours per week. I only wish we had found LOC sooner!

From the very beginning, the office staff--Mary, Jenifer, Kaitlynn, and Morgan--treated me with such grace, compassion, and kindness. They went above and beyond to make sure I felt confident that my baby was safe and well cared for. Her teachers, Ms. Euraja Mason and Ms. Makayla Walka, have poured so much love into my daughter that they feel like family. Knowing she is surrounded by people who truly care about her gives me so much peace as a mother. I have three kids, and all of my older children attended Primrose, but enrolling my youngest here was the best decision I could have made. I am so grateful I made the switch--I would never look back. Even after moving all the way to Ahwatukee, I still drive my daughter to this school every single day because I would never want to take her anywhere else. This school has been such a blessing for our family, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place where their child will not only be safe, but deeply loved.

My observations include:…read more The online calendar is outdated (the website still shows the 2024 calendar while we are in 2025 and headed into 2026), which makes planning for closures difficult. If something so simple can't be updated makes one wonder if any of their state documenting is even updated and accurate. Staff professionalism is inconsistent. One employee in particular (Amanda - co-director) did not introduce herself to parents when entering or during pickup. Staff appear not to be cross-trained, and I questioned as to why a business as such would not cross train their employees. When asked about compliance with state childcare regulations, Amanda answered and then was caught on camera scrambling to update state licensing regulation items. I observed safety and sanitation issues: children were allowed on tables, cleaning supplies were within children's reach, and personal items were not consistently labeled. When I raised concerns on camera, staff were seen scrambling to remove or relocate multiple items out of compliance. The daily schedule posted for children's activities is frequently not followed. The facility does not post required notices when contagious illnesses circulate, form R9-3-307.D.1 and R9-5-515.F.1. Given these issues -- lack of clear communication, apparent noncompliance with licensing practices, inconsistent professionalism, and observed safety/sanitation lapses -- I would advise parents to think twice before entrusting their child to this location or the one on Riggs Road if you expect a professional, licensed daycare environment.
