    Bread and butter

The "experience" at Todd's unique dining was fabulous. The ambiance was nice and quiet. Their bread and butter was SSSOOO delucious!! The food was outstanding, to include the appetizer, the dumplings, their ceasar salad and their main entrées, the Australian waygu and their filets of mignon beef.. their drinks were awesome! Our server, Teri and her team were great! We were a priority for them and they made us feel as though we were the only clients in their restaurant. I wish we lived closer to be able to go eat here more often. But will definitely return as often as we can

Chef/ownerTodd Clure and his wife were MIA this evening but we recognized our server who has been serving customers at Todd's since it first opened back in what I believe may have been the fall of 2007 with our initial visit shortly thereafter. We started with a shared pear and blue cheese salad which was truly delicious. Todd specializes in fresh seafood with an Asian twist so my wife ordered seared salmon with a green onion and ginger sauce accompanied by rice and bok choy. Alaskan halibut served with an artichoke and caper sauce and accompanied by mashed potatoes and assorted vegetables drew my attention. Both entrees were perfectly prepared and delicious while service was deemed excellent.

    Great scallop and shrimp dish!

Second visit and love this resto. Excellent staff service and amazing food. Best Brussels sprouts app ever! The scallops were perfect. Can't wait to return!

Restaurant week menu: salted caramel butterscotch pudding

Todd's has been on my list for years but I just never had a reason to come here. When I saw it on the restaurant week 2024 list, I knew it was finally the time to give it a shot and boy am I glad I did. Along with the complimentary bread, I ordered the watermelon salad, grilled flat iron steak with jalapeno cheddar polenta and BBQ butter, an extra side of charred corn and cherry peppers, and the salted caramel butterscotch pudding for dessert. I also tried my buddy's appetizers (goat cheese wontons and Asian dumplings) and dessert (lemon blueberry mousse). Let me just say, the name of this restaurant is spot on. With the exception of the starter bread and the Asian dumplings, everything else we ordered was something completely new and unique to my taste buds. I may have had those certain foods before, but never with those flavors or pairings. I was surprised that I had so many new tastes in one meal. It was truly exciting. I don't want to make this review too long so I won't go into every item but the standouts to me were the watermelon salad, the goat cheese wontons, and both desserts. The salad was like nothing I have had before then and it was just bursting with flavor but was also incredibly simple. The wontons were crispy but light and packed with cheese. They were paired with a raspberry sauce which seems odd at first but we were scraping it up with the wontons after our first bites. The desserts, first off, we quite a good size even though my pictures just show them in a little glass. My pudding was sweet, salty, and surprisingly light. I could've licked that glass clean. The mousse was even lighter both in taste and density and was a nice, bright way to finish a meal. The service was very prompt and kind and asked us if we would like more bread which is always nice. The décor is a bit dated to be honest and feels straight from the late 90's, early 00's. The booths were also pretty uncomfortable. They were completely 90's, maybe even 85 degrees and there was no arch support whatsoever. Overall though, it was a great experience and I will definitely be back to try their regular menu or even attend one of their special events.

This is going to make me sound so biased, but I've never tried Todd's, even though I've heard only good things, because it seems weird to me that a "nice" restaurant would be by the grocery store, movie theater, nerd store (lol) and dentist I go to. However, Valentine's Day was on a Wednesday, during a very busy week at work, we decided to be super low key and eat near our home. This is when I thought, "Well, why not finally try Todd's?" Good thing we did! First, I have to say the service here is INCREDIBLE. We were new, obviously, and there were many regulars coming in that night, but our server, and everyone else we came into contact with, treated us in the same friendly, excited manner. There seems to be a lot of care and concern and I appreciate that. Second, the ambiance is great. The restaurant is nice and clean, especially the bathroom. The colors are dark and the lighting is moody so it's very romantic. It kind of made me think of a home style café/pub in the UK/Europe, with the big bar and wine bottles. Third, the food! That short rib with the jalapeno mash is to die for and we've already discussed that when we get that craving for some meat, we are coming here to have this short rib. Also, the Brussel sprouts are amazing and I definitely recommend those! Four stars for the rest of the food. I wasn't hugely impressed with the green curry spinach salad, my surf and turf special or the dessert. I'll have to try different items next time we come in.

Goat cheese wontons - great in theory, not in execution.

We came here with some friends who absolutely RAVE about Todd's and I was stoked to try everything. The TL;DR is that Todd's is good, but it's not mind-blowing. The dishes lack a bit of finesse but the price point is very manageable so it's a good deal for very solid food. We had a lot of things I can't remember but the fish was a definite standout. The fried goat cheese wonton situation was great in theory but it was a little heavy and the raspberry sauce was not my favorite. The biggest disappointment was the calamari - it was too heavily breaded and fried too deeply (vs a flash fry). The ambience is alright (though it was freezing inside) and the staff was great. I wouldn't NOT come back, but I'm not clamoring, if you know what I mean.

    Trout

Been hearing so many good things about Todd's. Was a little disappointed with the quality and small portions of our dinner we received. I had the trout and it was coated with ? Along with a nice sauce but not enough. The service and drinks were excellent. Got this place off our bucket list.

I really enjoyed my meal here. We came on a Friday night and it was packed. We had the calamari appetizer it was really good. I also had the beer cheese soup which I enjoyed. Entree I had the Oktoberfest special and it was awesome. The schnitzel was 10/10! Another person had the filet mignon and it was really good too. Dessert we finished off with some chocolate cake. It was good. I really enjoyed the food it was like a home cooked meal but I didn't have to prepare it. Would definitely return. Service was excellent our waiter was a really nice guy. It's a relatively casual restaurant so no need to dress up.

This place has been open 20 yrs and they have a lot of regulars. Its been 7 years since our last visit and hopefully will be back again soon. Great food and service They gave us garlic bread to start and its so good. Their short rib just falls apart. I enjoyed my scallops with shrimp risotto and the lemon cheesecake mousse with blueberry compote is refreshing

Is there still a dress code here? My boyfriend and I were turned away for wearing nice jeans and nice shirts when we came here 4 years ago. If there is a dress code, what is it?

No, I don't think they have one. Someone in our party is a hairdresser and had just gotten out of work and was wearing super basic clothes.

We put in our order - one pork ramen, one mushroom ramen, and one kids meal + pork belly buns as a starter. One ramen and the kids ramen arrived together. The 2nd ramen arrived 15 minutes after that. They forgot our pork belly buns completely. Despite the large number of staff to customers ratio... it took over 10 minutes to flag down anyone for a fork for a small kid. Our server did not check on us. Her colleagues dropped off the food. When we reminded her that the order never arrived she sounded apologetic. They took off the item + actually packed the pork belly buns in a Togo box. The food overall is good! But for the price (I am from the bay area so I understand how much VCOL should cost). But this was about 25% too high. Someone needs to look hard at the level of service. Because the lady right next to me had her order screwed up and they left items off the menu too.

At the only spot I've found in Las Vegas, it's $28 for AYCE, or you can get a single bowl option for $16. Unfortunately, the bowl they give you is 1/3 the size of the bowl that they had at every spot in WA. Fortunately, I turn into a structural engineer when I'm loading my tiny-@$$ bowl (see the before pic). Unfortunately, they have put some new rules in place since my last visit. They were posted on signs that I didn't see until the person who seated us came and scolded me & one of the new customers i brought them for compressing the initial layer of meat we put in the bowl first. The real bummer is that the food here is actually very good but in Vegas, the house always wins. If I had to bet on it, I'd say that this rule was put in place after my last visit where I managed to get enough into my tiny bowl to fill 2 platters. I'm sure that their tiny-bowl nonsense helps them to win 9/10 times but changing the rules is a BS move. I like this food so I'm sure i'll come back sometime but they immediately lost my wife & all of our friends who we brought to introduce to it. However much i do come back will be greatly diminished because i don't like to be hassled either, but will tolerate it on occasion to get something i cant get elsewhere. @stirkrazylv If you're really so hard up that you're willing to chase off customers who are bringing you new business, maybe you should just raise your single bowl price and deal with the occasional Mongolian Structural engineer who remembers when your product was a much better value

We both ordered bibimbap in your old school dolsots. Unfortunately the rice was not crispy on the bottom like you'd get at a classic Korean restaurant. The toppings, while fun to customize, are usually standard when served traditionally. I didn't think the flavor was as good as the real deal served in more traditional restaurants. I got the beef and my husband got the pork. The beef was missing the right flavor. The pork tasted better but I'm not a pork person. Normally bibimbap has spinach but this wasn't listed as an option. Egg is also normally a regular topping, not an extra. When you mixed everything up, it just didn't have the right overall taste I'd get at authentic Korean restaurants. Overall though it wasn't bad.
