Alec was our bartender for the night. Every drink made was delicious and strong. Only con is there were a few overpriced drinks at $44 a glass. Excellent service! Fouquet's Hotel in Tribeca is a bit of Paris in New York. They take inspiration from the 1930's with an Art Deco vibe. Brass, velvet and soft lighting sets the elevated tone from the moment you walk into the hidden lobby entrance. There are a number of restaurants and bars, but Titsou Bar is their speakeasy which we loved. It's named after the hotel founder, Lucien Barriere, who's daughter nicknamed him Titsou. It's a warm and elegant space modeled after their speakeasy in Paris at Hotel Barriere Fouquet's. Art Deco lamps light up the bar where the bartenders serve up delicious creations and classics. It's an absolutely beautiful room. The menu is extensive. I tried the Cigare (photo 2). It's a complex recipe combining rum and a smokey scotch (Islay) alongside Cynar (Amaro), Licor 43, Angostura bitters and a rinse of Absinthe. They garnished it with a cinnamon stick to finish off the flavor explosion. I would definitely have it again. Photo 7 is Espresso Azul which is their elevated version of an Espresso Martini. They use a high quality tequila (Ciase Azul Reposado) instead of vodka along with coffee liqueur, Demerara syrup, mole bitters, espresso and finished with the fanfare of bubble smoke. It's quite a show and was very tasty. The people watching at Titsou Bar was fantastic as New York's elite come to enjoy some serious Parisian quality. You can't go wrong having cocktails or a meal at any of the options at Fouquet's. Check them out next time you're in NYC. Never heard of this bar or the hotel that it is in before a few weeks ago when I got a ticket to see a movie at the hotel. They do Drinks or dinner and a movie here you make reservation on Resy. Its a cool idea/ experience. Anyways, this bar is on the smaller side but it is very nice and elegant. The bar is beautiful and the bartenders creat great cocktails. I had a gin and tonic and I had never seen one like this one. It was made with some house made tonic syrup. Very well crafted. All the staff that work here were very nice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The one downside is the bar stools in my opinion are not comfortable. I also felt like I was sliding off.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]But besides the bar seating the other table seatings looked comfortable, but since I was one person I don't think I was allowed or felt right taking up a whole table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I saw the bartender make other drinks and the boozy Hot chocolate looked amazing as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This bar is beautiful but I found the quality of the food and drink not on par with the price.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's definitely overpriced. My friends and I came here to check out the Loewe popup but it wasn't much of a popup. They had two drinks themed for Loewe - I didn't order one but someone in my party did. Nothing about the drink looked like Loewe at all so it might as well have been a basic cocktail. They had some Loewe catalogs around but that's all I saw. read more

Had never heard of Titsou prior to going, but really enjoyed this speakeasy when I went. Cocktails were delicious, my favorite was the espresso martini which was perfectly balanced but the margarita was also fantastic. Tried a few bites as well and the spicy tuna bites were soooo so good. Service was top notch, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the interior was sleek and felt like a classic NY experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely a special occasion place, or one to bring out of towers. read more

Beautiful spot within Fouquet Hotel. First come first serve. Cocktail menu is not very big and I feel like it could definitely be better. Le Jardin - kinda too sweet. Great vibe but for certain has that snotty NYC private joint thing going where they think its a privilege for you to be there. I think you have to be a hipster to work there- a super sweet hipster because all of the staff was lovely and tried to be very accommodating. Anyway, ordered Caviar so basically all the bar had to do was present it- they certainly didn't make it or the accoutrements but the presentation was lovely.
