    Shiso Nice

tl; dr: cute spot, well-made drinks, tho the noise level can get a bit much at times. came here at night on a weekend and they were decently packed. i got the Shiso Nice (with shiso, cucumber, etc) and my friend tried the Tropical Peat (scotch, vermouth, banana liqueur). i really enjoyed my drink. it was so refreshing with the cucumber and shiso. my friend's drink tasted like banana hi-chews in a rocks glass. a tad sweet but i am a fan. service was attentive and overall, ok to stop in for a drink but not particularly worth a special trip.

Stopped in the neighborhood for a drink before dinner and saw it was a whiskey bar (husband). We walked in a few minutes before they opened by accident and even tho some guy with an awful accent had a bit of a tude, we still decided to come back so the hubbs could get into the bourbon selection. Luckily the bartender was amazing!! The place is super cute and has a great lounge vibe and amazing bourbon choices. While there are so many places to choose from we did enjoy ourselves.

STAY AWAY FROM HERE! Terrible manager and dangerous place!

STAY AWAY FROM HERE! I came here early evening for a drink with my service dog. It was a nice day and I wanted to sit outside. There were plenty of empty tables. I politely asked the host if I could sit outside. Instead of welcoming me she immediately questioned me about my dog. She asked if he was a service dog. I said yes. Then she asked for what purpose. That question is illegal and disrespectful. I explained I could show his ID but that is not even necessary for outdoor seating. Then the real problem appeared. An older man, he is the manager, came over and was extremely rude. He told me to leave in a hateful way. This man was aggressive, disrespectful, and by far the worst person I have ever encountered in New York hospitality. When I tried to speak to him he moved toward me like he was ready for a fight. Completely unacceptable behavior. When I showed my dog's service ID, he suddenly tried to act normal and pretended there were some rules. Those so called rules did not apply to outdoor seating. His words and his look were filled with rude hostility. The way he treated me was not only rude but absolutely discriminatory. Later I checked Yelp and Google reviews. Many people have written the same thing about this man. Everything became clear. This is a pattern of abuse and racism. The manager is hateful, racist, and unstable. Do not go here. Protect yourself and avoid this place completely.

Great vibe-- it's pretty dark, so it's perfect for date night. It does get quite noisy when it gets busy, but overall the ambiance is classy and chill. The cocktails were very well balanced and great-- even the stronger, more spirit-forward cocktails were good!!

Analogue is an incredible bar. Very warm and professional staff. Amazing selection! The food is also really high quality and the ambiance is perfect for a date night or catching up with friends. My favorite cocktail is the downtown lassi, but I've tried others that were equally genius.

Lovely spot to grab a drink and hang out with friends or enjoy a date night. The ambiance is intimate with dim-lit rooms and comfortable seating. They have a variety of drinks and cocktails that are priced around $20-25. I enjoyed the Bird in Hand and I am willing to to come back to try the other drinks on the menu since they all looked unique. They have a limited selection for food but the mediterranean platter that my friend ordered seemed like a good choice. The service was fantastic, I have never met a more friendly host before! (I could not take as many pictures here since the place was just dark) 5/5 stars!

I really love this bar, it's a great vibe & their back room is perfect if you come with a group. I always have a good time here. Drinks are great and service is friendly!

We came here to a drink before we went to dinner and it was such a great experience. They have so many different types of cocktails and even mocktails. I love the atmosphere here, it's dark so feels really intimate. They have comfortable couch seating, it feels a bit shared but we all seem to have our own privacy. Service was excellent, everyone was really friendly and happy to help us pick the drink that suits our tastes. The drinks were excellent and totally met expectations.

I came here for a friend's birthday and was immediately welcomed by the hostess. Once inside I notice the spaciousness. The space was very beautiful. Towards the back there are large sofas where you and your party can sit. It was dimly lit and had some cool art and decoration. The drinks were good but did not live up to their pricy price tag. When spending 20+ dollars on one cocktail I expect to be blown away but sadly I wasn't. For drinks I ordered the plum struck and bird in hand. The drinks were fruit forward and not well balanced. I definitely think the vibes of this place is first date, great space for close conversations, and is Instagram worthy photos.

This place is almost always packed - so either make a reservation or hope there's a spot at the bar. We were lucky to find two seats by the bar on a Friday night. I love being able to watch them make all these amazing drinks. Definitely get a cocktail!

This is a swanky spot with really great cocktails! I liked the midnight drive through and the bird in hand. Also a great date spot! Be aware they do enforce their 2-hour table limit for reservations.

A beautiful location! Lovely space to grab a drink with friends or take a date. When I went it was fairly empty inside so we got plenty of attention from the staff. Drinks are fairly pricey- lowest being around $20 and honestly I didn't think they lived up to the price tag :/ Drinks were good for sure but not the life changing experience I was hoping for. Still a solid spot though!

But let's talk about the real star of the show: the burger. I've had my fair share of burgers in NYC, but this one takes the cake. The patty is juicy and flavorful, cooked to perfection with just the right amount of char on the outside. The bun is soft and pillowy, holding everything together without getting soggy. We sit down and the tables are TIGHT - we were sat right next to the stage and the woman that was on was GREAT... digging the vibe, super excited - my arm would constantly touch the girl next to us and we then started all talking to that table as well so it became less awkward but still... Drinks come, Ok - My drink I had to assemble myself which was cute I could make it too my liking, I just might have liked if there was actual alcohol with it... Then food, apps were Ok... The mains, NO... The steak had NO FLAVOR, not even bad flavor, NONE... Then the music changed, and the band that went on after was just NOT a vibe - what we had hoped would be a cute, cuddle in a little booth, get some music, good food, turned into a "are we done, lets hurry and go drink at the hotel bar" experience! Sad because I wanted to love this place, and maybe another booth where my ass wasnt on my neighbors chair, and the music was a different band might change this whole experience!

Although the song is about love,…read moreand not dining, I've found that when I have an impeccably perfect time at a restaurant, the subsequent visits just don't measure up to that first time. And this isn't entirely the restaurant's fault: when, as a customer, you've already tasted a good part of the menu, seen the decor, experienced the good service and ambience, it's really hard for future visits to be "as good as the first time." But then there's Parlour Room that dazzles me every time I visit New York. Last Saturday we sat at the same booth as our first visit and were lucky enough to have Jesus as a server again. I was so excited to see him. We had so much food that we had to take a good amount to go, but let me give you the rundown. New things we tried this time: Octopus: I've never had octopus in my life. And I've never wanted to try it. No interest at all. But a Parlour Room suggestion? Okay, sure. I trust it. And guess what? 10/10 Ribs: The presentation was pretentious in the best way, but still, my expectations weren't too high. BUT they rivaled the best soul food restaurant. Fall off the bone and full of flavor. I couldn't believe it. Another 10/10 Mac and cheese: I wasn't enthusiastic about ordering this because I didn't want all the carbs and cheese. Then I couldn't stop eating it. 10/10 The usuals: burger and fries, meatballs, and deviled eggs. Always 10/10, or 5 stars, in Yelp standards. :) The drinks and dessert were unbelievably decadent as well. As usual. What an evening. One more thing...They changed the menu recently, and in my experience, that usually means some sort of disappointment as you discover they've gotten rid of your favorite dish, added uninteresting things, and/or consolidated the offerings in general. But Parlour Room was thoughtful in this regard--unlike anything I've seen before. And what a relief. When I didn't think the menu could get any more perfect, they went and concocted another level of perfection. Oh, I love this place.

It adds a layer of character to the place, but what really keeps people coming back is the atmosphere and the drinks. The space is split into two levels: a two lively, sawdust-floored Taprooms downstairs and a more refined Parlor upstairs if you're in the mood for a quieter, cocktail-focused experience. Drinks are the real highlight here. The Irish Coffee is widely considered one of the best in the world--rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced with whiskey, coffee, and fresh cream. They also get creative with variations like a frozen version and even an Irish Coffee martini. If you want something different, the "Act Naturally" is a standout, mixing Irish whiskey with Guinness and fig in a way that works. Food is just as impressive for a bar. The lobster deviled eggs (topped with caviar) are a must-try, and the menu leans into elevated comfort food. If there wasn't a staff member outside you could easily pass it. This isn't a negative remark. It makes fits the theme of their bar. Death and co is almost a speakeasy. It is elegant, dark inside, and unapologetic. One inside you feel as though you are in a secret lounge reserved for cocktail lovers. I was expecting a lot from this bar and they delivered! All of the cocktails were expertly crafted and I really do mean "expertly" in every sense of the word. The bartenders here are extremely knowledgeable. If all the cocktails we had, and we had many, my favorite was one in which i challenged the bartender. I ordered a lamb burger which was great and I had already drank and old fashioned so I wanted to try a daiquiri. Knowing the flavor profile of each of these two items, I thought they would clash but the bartenders assured me he would make something that accompanied the lamb well. The bartenders assured took some time to think about how he would create an accompaniment to my lamb in the form of a daiquiri. I was skeptical but when I was served my drink as I was eating the lamb burger, what he concocted was nothing short of genius. A daiquiri is normally acidic and sweet but this one was earthy and made the perfect drink pair to my lamb while staying true to the way a daiquiri is made. Amazing place to grab a couple of drinks. Well worth it!
