The coolest speakeasy in New York! Probably one of the only bars I could find that serves caipirinhas outside of Brazil. The atmosphere was one of the coolest and was similar to old Hollywood vibes. Very intimate setting with dim lighting and the waiters are dressed nice. It can be hard to find the entrance, just look for security standing in front of a door with lots of stickers. It's across the rice pudding place. We got lucky and the four of us got in without a reservation on a Saturday night, but highly recommend making one just in case.

Trying to think of how to describe this place. Came here with reservations. It's a small bar atmosphere with a modern disco type of music (on Saturday). All the servers were wearing white pantsuits which I thought was unique. Came here with a date...music was kind of loud so we had to talk rather loudly. Great drinks as well - ordered an expresso martini but will be more adventurous next time. The service was fast as well. I would definitely come back!

Very swanky and cool place. Fun cocktail list, very strong drinks. Loved the ambiance, very moody and great date spot. Standing outside was a little confusing at first haha. Good nibbles too available. Service was just the right amount of checking in without being too in your face. Would love to go again.

The atmosphere was incredible, the staff was so sweet (and gorgeous), and I had the best martini of my entire life (no really.. the olives were smoked with MSG I asked). But when we were first let in we were sent to the back. Not the back of the restaurant, like a dark corner near the waiters bustling and it was NOT the way to start the evening's vibe. The drinks were great but that was dumb and I would have rather waited outside...

Such a vibe. One of the coolest places I've been to in NYC. The decor and ambiance curated by the staff really makes you feel like you were transported to Los Angeles in the 70s. The drinks were phenomenal. Definitely a top five dirty martini in the city for me. Our waiter was phenomenal. She was the perfect amount of chatty, and it came up in conversation that it was my boyfriend's birthday. I hadn't notated it on the reservation and she gave us two complementary glasses of Prosecco, which was very kind. Two things to note they don't do any food at all and they are pretty strict on the hour and a half time limit that you're given. If you are someone who likes to linger for a really long time I don't think that this is necessarily the best spot for you, but it's really great if you just wanna experience the vibe, get a fancy expensive cocktail and head somewhere else or head home or head to dinner.

Tigre is a cute place for a date night or a post work meetup. The inside feels very exclusive which can be a turnoff for some folks. The menu was mainly drinks with a couple bites to grab. Service was okay- initially, they were really attentive then as the night went on they sort of forgot about us which was unfortunate. The items on the menu are quite the price and for the service, i don't think it was worth it

Service was amazing from the door to the seat. My server Emelia was a delight ! Although they had a private party coming in the staff was so kind and professional. Will come back again

Classy and cozy... a long hallway welcomes you into the main feature of the cocktail bar - a space with loungy and unique seating.... and lots of gold. A menu of signature cocktails that are bound to impress you, is placed on your table by a well dressed and friendly staff. A horseshoe shaped bar with a backdrop of illuminated bottles faced us as the angle gave us time to watch the mixologists do their thing. I can't recommend the Cigarette Martini enough. If you like a bold, leathery overtaking of your salivary glands, this cocktail will put a smile on your face. Pair that with the good tunes coming through the speakers and chalk your evening up to a success. Tips * You must check your coat * Make a reservation * Get the Cigarette Martini

Just delitchious. Service was lovely despite the business. Had a ressy. Super creative drinks but none of them taste bad. My favs were def the mister softee (like a pisco sour, perf wash line) and the rolls Royce (spirit forward &interesting) without being INSUFFERABLE. Chercez La femme (like esp martini) was indulgent but not creamy at all. Loud w fire aux and great for a group of four. 6 cocktails w tip came out to $174

We came here around 5 on a Saturday and got in pretty quickly. I would recommend making a reservation as the inside is not too big and it can get busy. I gotta say that the drinks were just ok but the vibe in here was sooo swanky. It felt like I was being exported to a new place from the moment we walked in. This would be a great cocktail date spot but just know that you're coming for the atmosphere vs the drinks themselves.

Lovely cocktail bar in the heart of East village! Arrived at 5:30 pm on a Friday with no reservation and chose two seats at the bar. The vibe was very quiet, cozy and intimate when we arrived but by the time we were leaving at 7:30, the place was pretty crowded and more of a lively, bustling, party vibe. We tried the rolls Royce, dirty gin martini, and I tried a custom gin cocktail crafted by the talented bartender. Martini was perfect! All the drinks were lovely and well balanced. The staff was really friendly and attentive. Overall, would definitely return to try additional cocktails at tigre.

I would recommend a reservation, we showed up without one on a Saturday night (amateur mistake). It's a small place, so I get it. The woman at the door was very communicative and walked us in after waiting for about 10 minutes. I don't normally go anywhere that you have to wait in a line, but I was dying to see the interior. Since we didn't have a rezzy we were placed in the standing area next to the bar, honestly it was great people watching and we had a view of the whole place. I ordered the cigarette martini which was smoky and delicious. The servers were also friendly and warm. Will definitely be back.

Our friends raved about this place and we of course were excited (and a bit skeptical at first) to try it. The concept: no menu + no lights + a few questions = the ultimate cocktail experience. The speakeasy vibe and the dark ambiance really makes this place feel even more exclusive. With just a few tables and the bar setting, you're in for an experience you won't forget (unless you answer the wrong questions and really end up with a drink you don't like HA). This wasn't my case. Of course I described my two favorite things: Negroni + mezcal. The obvious answer would be a mezcal Negroni, but that's not why one comes to a place like Attaboy. Our amazing curator came by to ask us all a few questions, write down a few words in the napkins, and mix up the perfect drink that our master bartender crafts, curates and creates. My drink came as I couldn't possibly imagine. It looked like a Negroni smelled like Oaxaca, with all the smoke simmering up and preparing my sensory experience, leading to the best first sip. Ladies and gentleman, I introduce you to The Devil's Backbone. A perfectly balanced drink I'll never forget, one that is sipped slowly and enjoyed thoroughly. It's sexy, it's smoky it's sipped. Attaboy gave the best mixology experience and we can't wait to be back. Pro tip: be sure to be as vocal as possible, even with ice, so you don't end up with a tiki drink if that's not your vibe.

It adds a layer of character to the place, but what really keeps people coming back is the atmosphere and the drinks. The space is split into two levels: a two lively, sawdust-floored Taprooms downstairs and a more refined Parlor upstairs if you're in the mood for a quieter, cocktail-focused experience. I would have had to cancel and rebook and wasn't sure I'd be able to (reservation was for a Saturday night) In most places, a table for 3 easily accommodates 4. But not here. When two of us arrived, they made it clear this was a big problem. I would have walked out right then but I would have been charged $90! We decided to stay and make the best of it, which was a challenge. For a speakeasy, the vibe was aggressive, not relaxing. Very loud music and not great acoustics.) Too cramped to be comfortable, proving that small does not necessarily mean cozy! We asked if we could take a chair from the table next to us, which was empty (it was only 6 pm; I told our server we'd be gone by 7 because my friend, the birthday girl, had to catch a show.) We were told No! To say the waiter was cold, unfriendly, and indifferent is generous. He was totally rude. He literally told my friend she couldn't sit in a chair that was otherwise empty, knowing we'd be leaving momentarily. Then he had the gail to hand me the bill with a 22% tip pre-selected...and watched over me while I signed it! Definitely the least satisfying $100 I have ever spent. Disappointing.
