First time at this fish restaurant that had big outside patio seating and live music. The bartender was nice and helped with providing information on specialty drinks. The draft taps were all inactive for some reasons but lots of cold bottle beers ready to serve. Oysters were being shucked right in front of me while listening to live retro music. The Mahi fingers were good and went well with my drink.

We went to an early morning breast cancer walk and we're looking for a spot to grab a brunch early. We came across Tin Fish. Our server greeted us as we entered- we were the first people there. To my surprise they had a solid brunch menu. We were a group of 5 and everything-drinks and food- came out quickly to us. They had some good 90s tunes in the background playing so we stayed for a while. Our server made sure to check on us frequently. I had the regular breakfast which was a good portion size. Everyone enjoyed their meal- I would love to come back to try the conch fritters- they looked good!

Lobster Bisque
Britt Z.

My mother and I had lunch here a few months ago. We were celebrating her birthday and we enjoyed everything. Lobster Bisque and New England Clam Chowder were both excellent. The Hush Puppies (served with honey butter) were a bit overcooked but still very good. The Clam Strips appetizer was the perfect portion for my mother, and she loved them. The chef made me Baked Clams (not on the menu), and they were worth the wait. I decided to order six and I ate them all. They were that good! A nice surprise was the beautifully plated Key Lime Pie they sent out for my mom. I'm not a fan, but their version was scrumptious. Our server was excellent! I forgot his name, but he was very attentive and chatted with my mom, and that made her feel special. Very relaxed vibe, with lots of Fulton New York fish market decor with a few Long Island fishing towns thrown into the mix. Fun atmosphere. Price points are fair for the fresh seafood they serve. I think my six baked clams were eighteen dollars. Fully justified as they are not even on the menu and were loaded with fresh clams and very little filler. If you ask nicely and the restaurant isn't packed, the chef will make you anything as long as they have the ingredients on hand. They have a full bar and are closed on Monday. Prices vary and change based on market costs, which are printed on their menu. Fresh seafood and great service, make this laid-back New York nautical themed restaurant a new favorite.

I absolutely love this place. The food is insanely amazing! I have been coming here since it opened. The owners are all so friendly and kind. They always walk around and check on everyone. The seafood is always fresh and delicious. I get the tuna poke appetizer as my meal. It is literally my favorite meal of all time. It has a nice refreshing ginger soy balsamic sauce on the field greens and tuna. They make homemade pita chips which come hot and delicious. Today we tried the kaboom shrimp and the drunken mussels as well. Both of which were absolutely incredible. Huge portion of mussels that were so flavorful and tender. The kaboom shrimp was lightly fried and had a very zesty delicious sauce which we enjoyed. My fiancé had the fried grouper sandwich which was crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked inside. Everything is always 10/10!! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Can't wait to come back soon!

Ceviche

Let's just say that my husband and I haven't been this happy with our meal in a very long time. This place was absolutely delicious. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. We got the ceviche and it came with the best chips, they were addicting. The tacos were so tasty and a great balance of fish and toppings. My husband loved his fish too and stated the vegetables made a great addition. My son didn't leave not one fish nugget. We were all so happy with our dishes. Everyone was extremely attentive and our waitress gave us great recommendations. They were playing live music and the atmosphere was great. The only thing was that it was too cold for me so next time I'll be taking a sweater. Can't wait to go back!

Tin Fish is one of the best fresh fish spots in town! I've had the ahi tuna, salmon, grouper, and snapper, and all were super fresh tasting and perfectly seasoned. The servers are always friendly and attentive. I also really enjoy their ceviche appetizer and the corn bread they bring out is to die for. They have a nice outdoor patio to dine at and their inside is decorated with sports bar/beachy vibes. Their happy hour is next up on my bucket list!

Shrimp and Grits

Came for lunch with my mom and we both enjoyed it. My mom was in the mood for seafood. It was a first time for us both. I wasn't hungry so only ordered the fish dip. It was good. I also got a fish taco to go. It was fine but I'd skip it next time. My mom got the shrimp and grits which she really enjoyed. The grits were cheesy, creamy, and seasoned well. She also got a salmon taco and really liked it. Is definitely return. Prices are more than what is expect from the area but not outrageous. I also liked that the restaurant did not smell fishy nor did our food. Tells me the seafood is fresh.

Ok why is isnt this place being talked about more. Today was our date night and my turn to pick where to eat. A friend mention this place so we figured we would give it a try. When we first arrived it was a bit empty which made me nervous but I figured it was because the weather was a bit crappy. We started with the oysters and drinks and boy or boy were we excited. The oysters were absolutely to die for, they were soft, plump and meaty. The horse radish was freshly grated and gave it just enough kick. We loved them so much we ordered three half dozens all different variety's. For our entrées, we ordered the shrimp appetizer and the ribeye steak with sweet potato fries. Everything was absolutely fantastic. Steak was cooked to perfection and those shrimps were out of this world. It was enough for both of us to eat and be full. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better the waiter Leo came over and entertained us with some magic tricks. He was fantastic from start to finish. We felt bad because we got there around 7:30 and they were closing at 9 yet they still allowed us to have a fantastic experience . We didn't feel rushed and we seriously had the greatest time ever. We will absolutely be returning again ! Thanks Tin fish for a great experience

Food was amazing, we had the mixed fish seafood combo. It came with garlic buttered veggies and one piece of salmon. One piece of mahi and about 3-5 pieces of shrimp. All were delectable. We also had the seafood Rueben. And let me tell you!! Outstanding food quality and fast service. There was a lady with red hair there, she brought so much energy and a high standard of service! The hostess was very nice also, our bartender quick and attentive. And that's not even our favorite part.... The LIVE MUSIC! There was a trumpeter there named Jamie Kahn...he was so smooth, and precise. Truly a lovely experience! I will return for the food, naturally. But the musician made the experience everything and then more for our date night!

Snapper Sandwich

Service, Service,Service!!!!!5 stars on that alone. Saturday day date the clams, mussels and shrimp were tasty and fresh with the right amount of garlic, the bread that was served with it was so enjoyable I wanted the entire loaf and I'm not a bread eater. Our main meals were sandwiches which I'm so happy we ordered because we were stuffed from the large portion is our appetizer. I had the fried snapper and wifey had the shrimp po boy both were very fresh tasting not heavily breaded and over all an amazing tasting sandwich!!! Can't wait to return.

Great service. Delicious food! Would come back a thousand times. Huge variety of menu. I was afraid I wouldn't like anything since I don't eat fish. Everything was excellent! The service was great too!

I've always walked pass Tin Fish on the way to Doris Market and noticed it's always busy and lively. Finally I stopped in for dinner on a weeknight and though it was only 3 tables full, the food and service were great. I love seeing the history of the restaurant on the walls and having the servers explain the menu in detail for a first timer. I really liked being able to see the fish I order before they cook it. I started with their famous fish taco. It was loaded with lightly breaded fish pieces and veggies with this delicious sauce on a warm tortilla. I'm usually not a big taco person but this one has me wanting to come back for more. I also got the appetizer dual pot with clams and mussels. Super fresh and the garlic butter wine sauce it was stewed in was amazing. I took it to go so I could boil some linguine with it. It comes with garlicky toasted baguette pieces and just the bread is phenomenal. Crunchy on the outside, soft in the center and topped with fresh minced garlic. The fried whole fish we selected was a yellowtail and the smallest they had for 2 people was 2.25 lbs. It was pretty hefty but after it was fried, it wasn't as much as we thought. We got the Asian sauce on the side and it was delicious. Definitely will be back!

Not only was he very apologetic, he seemed like he actually cared about making the situation right. After inquiring a bit more about the service that night he graciously invited me back for another meal. I understand mistakes happens so it's truly about how they're taken care of after the fact. In this case, it was handled well. I decided to come for brunch this time & overall, it was a really good meal. They weren't super busy but service was good. Our appetizers, drinks & meals all came out in a timely manner. For the most part, everything was right but one of the hash brown sides came out cold (it was quickly swapped for fresh ones). My chicken & waffles were delicious. I especially liked how freshly breaded/fried the chicken was. There was a misunderstanding when it came to ordering our drinks, however. I ordered one that should've came iced but got the other coffee beverage which is served warm. When I brought it up to the waiter he was adamant that it's what I ordered & how it's served. After I questioned it once more, he stuck to that, so I kept the drink. Thankfully, it tasted really good & was poured well but it wasn't what I ordered. It was just a bit off putting that he said it was. He said he'd take the drinks off but this was after we went back & forth about it. This isn't a make or break situation for me but he was set in his ways. As a server, you need to be as adaptive as possible, even if you believe you're right. I'm super thankful to have been invited back because it was a nice meal, as I expected. I'm glad I can now tell people to try them out in good conscience. If you're looking for some delicious food, tasty drinks & good service then you should stop by. They have something for everyone & their staff does a solid job.

We came after a busy morning at the beach and I was craving something fresh. After a quick search on Yelp, I found Naked Farmer and was reminded that we were super close to it. It's fairly close to Sawgrass Mills mall and is in a plaza with a good amount of parking. Although the outside seems small, the space inside is pretty long and has a good amount of seating. The servining is "chipotle-style" where you order your food and customize it how you want it and pay at the register at the end. I shared a bowl with my partner and we got half rice and half greens, some toppings, and the chicken thigh. This was a good amount for us to share and it was delicious! We also tried their date cake and my partner was a huge fan of it. I loved how clean the inside was and how nice all the staff was. They had water cups for self service and it was cold even without ice, which I loved! When you're done with your food, you put them away in a cabinet which is constantly cleaned out by staff which helped give the space a clean aesthetic. We were in great spirits and the energy was good while the dj was playing good music. We were catching up and vibing. I will start by saying while I loved being with my coworkers I would not return again. The server was new and nice. We all ordered drinks - espresso martinis, fire and ice mojito, aperol spritz, lemonade, cappuccino etc. The espresso martinis were watery coffee drinks missing baileys. The fire and ice mojito was so sweet and had no taste of rum. I asked for a regular mojito instead and still sweet but better. And the lemonade was forgotten until we reminded the server while we already had our food. We all ordered after drinks - salads, shrimp and grits, breakfast plate, and chicken and waffles. My chicken and waffles were okay the syrup came out cold and the butter was an interesting consistency... They messed up the salad orders. The shrimp and grits my friend got tasted like they forgot to put oil until the end. And my one coworker asked for no meat and they brought it out for her on the side. But, between 8 and 9 AM there's only one waitress and one bus boy this didn't always used to be the case. They used to have the full staff and someone at the door to take names. He would also help out by getting you drinks or more coffee if you needed it. It worked really well for the small family restaurant. The new owners took over and at some point they decided they only needed limited staff between 8 and 9 AM on Saturdays. And of course, every Saturday my wife and I go in there. It gets packed and the waitress is running around like her head is cut off and the busboy is overwhelmed. This isn't a one time thing it has been constant since they made the staffing change. It's completely unfair to the waitress and busboy and it's also a complete turn off to patrons who have to wait sometimes up to 10 or 15 minutes just for the poor waitress to come and take their order this morning. A couple waited 20 minutes before their order was taken. Also, the owner/manager doesn't get there until almost 9 herself, which means there's no management in the restaurant to help with the register or put out "fires." It. Is. Not. Working. Ally's has been known for their specials for years. They always have amazing special pancakes and special French toast. It's one of the main reasons we still go there. It's our little weekly treat. Lately the specials have been very monotonous. Some sort of jelly put on some French toast or some sort of cream put on a pancake. Not real imaginative for instance, today was banana cream and chocolate pancakes. It was a dollop of banana cream on a chocolate pancake that had little taste. One could've added some fresh bananas, or maybe some whipped cream on top of that. Meanwhile, the special pancakes and special French toast are often made wrong by the staff. This happened this morning. It took them twice to get the pancakes right and three times to get the French toast, right. Again, this is not a one time occur occurrence. We never complain. But we were surprised to still see those items on the bill and not discounted at all, but that's OK. The thing that really drove me to write this review, is that I waited for more than 10 minutes to speak to the owner/manager on our way out. I thought the best way to handle our dissatisfaction would be to speak to her personally. She disappeared into the kitchen, and even after the waitress went to tell her we were waiting to speak with her, she was nowhere to be found. No I understand things come up in the kitchen, but she could've at least came out and said hey I know you're here, I'm dealing with a problem, I'll be right back. But we waited and waited and waited and nothing despite all of the above, that's what irked me the most. I will say this. The food is still very good. And the waitresses and buses are amazing. None of this is their fault. They should all be paid more in dealing with a kitchen that can't get right and an owner that can't seem to figure out good customer service. We will certainly give them another chance, it's part of our routine. But after biting my tongue, I had to let everyone know what was happening at one of our favorite spots in Broward County.
