The food was very good my wife and I got the fish dip and their not lying it's some of the best I've ever had. The oven fired oysters were also amazing and very fresh. Excellent whole fried fish. Really the best you'll find if you love this dish. Have been many times and every time I haven't ordered it I have regretted it. The whole fried snapper with Asian prep is the way to go especially when the owner is there, no one makes it like he does. A pound and a half is just under $50 but plenty for 2 to share. Add their delicious fries and you're good to go. Other stand outs are the shrimp and grits which can be ordered as a smaller portion along with the tuna poke. The rating held steady only because of the taste of the food. However, the expectations didn't live up to the ratings I read, which led me to visit the location. My guest and I were sat immediately upon arrival. Unfortunately, I had to track down the hostess to get service after two parties nearby were sat after and attended to before us. The food took quite a while to arrive; my dish came cold, which I sent back because it was cold. What made the situation worst was that my guest lobster roll still was another 15 minutes behind me, sending my food back and getting it warmed up. After receiving the check, I noticed that my guest lobster roll was 10 dollars different from the menu. The server shared that it was probably market price (the menu typically would say that), but after checking with another server noticed that it was her error; however, she didn't provide any apology for the mishap. The only reason I didn't provide a one-star was because of the taste and quality of the dish. I will try the restaurant once more when they're not busy, but four stars overall is a stretch for me. I had this restaurant on my list for quite sometime. Brought my mom because she's a big time seafood lover. Needless to say we were not disappointed. The restaurant was very clean and the service was great. The mahi mahi was so fresh and the potion was fantastic. We also really liked how the fries were seasoned. I have tried a few of the entrees at this restaurant since June of 2021. As an avid traveler and travel agent, I love to send my clients to amazing travel destinations and offer wonderful restaurants and food selections. Just a month ago I visited Tin Fish for a taste testing in Sunrise, Florida. I literally rolled out of there with all the amazing food I was sampling from shrimp and grits, whole fried fish with asian sauce (my daddy's favorite), swordfish with rice and veggies with a creamy cognac sauce, the fried shrimp and maui maui, and an amazing tuna, crab and shrimp stack. But one of my favorites has to be the Salmon and Grilled Shrimp dish they made for me just a few days ago. It was modified than what is featured on the standard menu. (I think we should call it Karen's Garlic Butter Salmon and Shrimp). I had the Grilled Salmon and Shrimp in a galic butter sauce with rice and mixed vegetables. Omg, it was amazing and oh so flavorful. Many thanks to the amazing chefs who brought my creation to life esp bc I was oh so hungry that day. I also ordered a bowl of the ceviche with the fresh made chips. (The chips they make are oh so addictive.) An extra special treat was Executive Chef Joseph Melluso, making it for me as I was sitting at the bar. The vibe of the place is amazing to hang out and grab a drink, meet people there or maybe you decide to ring the bell for awesome service. Cute place in the corner of a strip mall. I had eaten on their patio before but never inside. The inside is decorated with lots of eclectic fishery equipment: traps, anchors, etc. Really cute. They have a good menu of seafood both grilled and fried. We ordered two lobster rolls, a shrimp po' boy, kaboom shrimp and hush puppies. Everything was very fresh and tasty. The kaboom shrimp was good, not super spicy. I love their hush puppies. They serve them with a honey butter type dip. The po' boy was large with lots of shrimp and a side of fries. The lobster rolls are served hot or cold. Both of ours were hot on buttery bread and a lot of lobster. They do not use a mayo based sauce so you are actually just getting lobster meat but it was delicious. It's served with a side of fries and coleslaw. All of the staff was super friendly and attentive. They even brought us extra fries because they thought the po' boy looked a little short on fries. We will definitely be back. read more

Due to the manager/owner response we will try this place again eventually when I get a chance. Service is/was awesome. So we will see how it goes next time. 2/3/23 Friday. Came in around 6pm. It was me, my husband, and my 3 year old. Service was very good but the food and experience was AWFUL. We ordered a 3 lb Bronzino to be baked. No place on the menu does it mention a bake fee! Which ok .... But they brought the fish out and it wasn't coming off the bone. I had a few bites but he waitress noted it wasn't cooked all the way! So they had to take it back and cook it another 30 mins!! Yes that is how UNDERCOOKED this fish was! But then to charge ME a fee? That was like salt on a wound. We where at the restaurant over two hours. They had no baked clams. The clams I did get "Dirty" clams over half didn't open. Last I checked when this happens that means the clams weren't good. Instead of tossing them out they took them back to the kitchen to open them. Guess what? Still two were closed and they soaked them in butter!! Oh and the waitress didn't bring out new veggies or sauce. We didn't ask for additional sauce but,she just added and charged it anyways. For a $200.00 meal.... I expected so much more. Never ever again do I want to come here and I will not recommend this place. I wasted $200.00. Raw fish.... Dead clams... and secret fees... awful. Service is great this might have just been an off night. We've had lunch and it was good. The owners response was very appropriate and I am glad to see they care which you can tell they do by the awesome service. read more

07/17/2021 Saturday night Grub HUB delivery. The order came pretty quick . I have had their Lobster Roll before ,but tonight it was really good and really filling . I never had the butter sauce that came with it before, it was so flavorful and had garlic and other goodness in it . This place has been in our bookmark for a long time. We read many reviews about it and seems like a good place to go for seafood. Came here on a Saturday for a late lunch/early dinner and it didn't disappoint. Inside the restaurant seemed small, but the outside patio area seems more spacious. Given it was a hot day we decided to dine indoors. The menu itself seems pretty simple, you can go with either the tacos or sandwiches, you just had to pick from fish to shrimps. We started off with a bowl of their clam chowder. The flavor was nothing special but it's got good amount of clam in it. We also ordered the conch fritters which my wife loved. I thought maybe it was a little bit more done to me taste but I did enjoy the dipping sauce. For entrees I picked the fish taco with fries. The fish was cooked nicely, and the sauce and topping it came with was great. I really like their season fries and coleslaw. Atmosphere- Cozy, intimate fish shack! Lol it has tables inside as well as outdoor seating available- which makes it pet friendly to bring your dog. The inside is decorated with neat marine decor hanging from the ceiling and walls. The service - was good the waitress was friendly enough to bring me a 2 samples of the soups they had available. The lobster bisque which was smooth and sweet and the Bahamian Chowder that was hearty and made with a tomato base. Both were really good, but I ended up choosing the Lobster Bisque The food- the taste of our food was really good. We ordered a cup of lobster bisque soup and some calamari to start off with. The soup was delicious and the calamari was okay. I ordered a lobster taco which was really good and my husband ordered The fish sandwich which he said was really good. I have to say that the decor at this location had me thinking the food was going to be so delicious. It had fresh fish at the window/prep counter. The Chef/owner was walking around the restaurant. I thought I was in for a treat, but I was less than impressed. I ordered the new england clam chowder, which the menu said it was award winning. I go to New England every summer. I was excited to taste the soup. Well, sad to say, it was soooo thick and flavorless. It had more potatoes than seafood (if any at all), and overall not good. The menu seemed interesting so I thought let's give something else a try. I'm still looking at that amazing fish at the window. I ordered a fried shrimp taco and a lobster taco. Again, totally disappointed. It was nothing special. It lacked flavor and the food just didn't look appealing nor appetizing. For us it was a nice 35 min ride from home on a sat nite after 7pm! So yes its a bits away but oh so worth it! Sitting at home in the mood for some fresh fish hubby found this one & off we went. Most of the grilled fish platters were offered in small portion or larger portion. Since it was our first time & not aware of their portion sizes hubby went for the large portion of grilled mahi mahi w sautéed veggies & i went with the smaller portion of grilled snapper w the same veggies. OMG! Everything was super fresh & well seasoned! Hubby's larger portion consisted of 4 small size squares of fish which after enjoying just two of the pieces he decided to save the other two for lunch. My smaller portion of snapper was just the perfect amount. Both fish were flaky & amazing flavor! The veggies were so good! They were made up of zucchini, carrots, mushrooms and potatoes! They were nicely seasoned as well. We ended up our meal with a slice of their key lime pie!! This was one of the creamiest smooth slice we have ever had! Its reach full flavor of key lime was a burst of flavor & great way to end up such a delicious meal. Oh i forgot the platter also has a small serving of coleslaw. If i am being honest after a very tiny taste i opted to not eat it. Hubby did enjoy his. In total we had 1 beer, 2 entrees and 1 dessert. Bill was under $65! I failed to mention previously that sat was the first time they were offering live music in the form of a gentleman playing the trumpet.
