Jerk chicken fresh off the grill
    Ashlee G.

Best Authentic Jamaican food I have had since I've been in FL. The customer service was great! The young ladies were very accommodating for me and my children, although the set up isn't really made for small children because they only have high top tables. But my family and I were treated very kind and when I food came it was amazing! I've been eating there 3 days in a row because their food is that delicious. Now I will admit the area isn't my kind of comfortability but the food is worth every visit and the prices are great as well! It's nothing like having great food that doesn't cost a fortune! I've had plenty expensive Jamaican food that is either very Americanized or just plain out nasty on top of rude employees. This place is nothing like that. And they have great customer service! It's a WIN WIN! ‍ extra bonus, they sell Jamaican beverages and beer and wine as well. You can definitely eat good and drink good.

Hair does not belong in food.

Hair in food & horrible customer service. I was trying to work with the lil attitude issue and gave them another try. But hair in food. Now that's just plain disgusting. They will not get my business again.

I ordered the brown stew chicken, based on yelp reviews. Horrible the best part of the meal was the sweet plantains & the Kola Champagne that saved me from chocking on that dry food. The food was inedible, just tasteless and terribly dry. Do yourself a favor and stay away. Not authentic Jamaican food, quite an embarrassment.

    SMALL order of jerk chicken!

Like "let's take pictures before we eat because this patio belongs in a lifestyle magazine" gorgeous. Las Olas energy at its finest. The outdoor seating is fantastic, the atmosphere feels upscale without being stuffy, and honestly, the food was outstanding. Which is why this hurts. We came for Mother's Day brunch and intentionally avoided rushing over for happy hour pricing because we wanted a relaxed meal. Adult decision. Responsible. Mature. Mistake number one apparently. Started with the charred corn and avocado dip and I need whoever created that dish to be recognized with some sort of civic award. Ridiculously good. One of those appetizers where you immediately start calculating whether licking the bowl in public is socially acceptable. Then came the steak and eggs discussion. My wife and I were both looking at the steak and eggs listed on the menu for $26.75. Our waiter explained that the standard steak was only four ounces and casually suggested upgrading to a six ounce or eight ounce cut instead. Now listen carefully because this is where the plot twists into a financial thriller. At no point during this conversation was pricing for the upgrade mentioned. And shame on me for not asking. That part is absolutely on me. But the suggestion was delivered with the same casual energy as "would you like fries with that?" So I upgraded to the eight ounce. My wife went with the six ounce. She also had a margarita she loved. We skipped dessert because we were stuffed and, as it turns out, accidentally entering a luxury cattle futures market. Then the handheld payment machine arrived. $175. I stared at that screen like it had just informed me my mortgage was due immediately. Turns out those extra six ounces of sirloin between the two plates carried an upcharge that could finance a small fishing boat. Roughly ten dollars an ounce for the upgrade. Somewhere, a Wagyu cow laughed at me from a distance. And look, before anybody jumps in, yes... I should have asked. Lesson learned. But restaurants also know exactly what they're doing when upgrade pricing gets floated around casually without numbers attached. There's a difference between upselling and a sneak attack. Which makes this review frustrating because I genuinely loved almost everything else. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was fantastic. Service was friendly. But nothing tanks the ending of a brunch quite like feeling blindsided by steak math. Pro tip for future diners: If they suggest the upgraded steak, ask the price immediately. Ask twice. Possibly get it notarized. Three stars because I really do want to come back someday. But right now I still feel like I got hit with a reverse happy hour.

We came after a busy morning at the beach and I was craving something fresh. After a quick search on Yelp, I found Naked Farmer and was reminded that we were super close to it. It's fairly close to Sawgrass Mills mall and is in a plaza with a good amount of parking. Although the outside seems small, the space inside is pretty long and has a good amount of seating. The servining is "chipotle-style" where you order your food and customize it how you want it and pay at the register at the end. I shared a bowl with my partner and we got half rice and half greens, some toppings, and the chicken thigh. This was a good amount for us to share and it was delicious! We also tried their date cake and my partner was a huge fan of it. I loved how clean the inside was and how nice all the staff was. They had water cups for self service and it was cold even without ice, which I loved! When you're done with your food, you put them away in a cabinet which is constantly cleaned out by staff which helped give the space a clean aesthetic. The farro base is on another level and I need to try to make this at home, but know I won't come close. Great farro recipe that includes butternut squash pieces, dried cherries and walnuts, out of this world. The cornbread is extra good (I feel like it has honey drizzled on top). Sweet potatoes amazingly roasted with cinnamon for extra flavor. I ended up getting a side of the mushrooms (because typically it's a sub for protein choice) and I have never tasted mushrooms so good - I could eat a whole bucket of that. I think it was a mix of portobello and oyster or king of trumpet mushrooms, so incredibly roasted in lemon - brilliant! Good service. Can dine in or takeout. Healthy and tasty, I highly recommend!
