After my previous review, I was contacted by Hannah and Jaime, the Restaurant Operations Manager at the Davie location, regarding an online order in which I was mistakenly given someone else's bowl. Jaime offered either a complimentary lunch or dinner, or bowl cards that could be used at any location. I chose to return to the Davie restaurant. When I returned, I ordered a bowl with BBQ Chicken and Teriyaki Chicken. I also finally got to try the sweet potato noodles that I had originally ordered, and they were very good. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the portion size was generous and filling, easily enough for two meals. Jaime also offered a dessert and a beverage, which I greatly appreciated and enjoyed. While mistakes can happen anywhere, I was impressed by how quickly and professionally the team addressed the issue. Hannah and Jaime went above and beyond to make things right, and the follow-up experience exceeded my expectations. The customer service was outstanding, and it's clear that they genuinely care about their customers' experience. I will definitely be returning. read more

Absolutely love FK. It is not a typical salad place like Sweetgreen that seems too be all over the country. FK has unique flavors that make me smile. Don't miss the sweet potato noodles, man they are delicious. I also enjoy the dairy free potato-cauliflower mash. The bbq chicken is really great with the mash! Fresh Kitchen is at the top of the food chain when it comes to healthy fast food. I'm always in and out in good time, the food is always fresh and *flavorful, and they don't short you on food like many other places. The associates are also pretty friendly and are patient when you're unsure of what you want, or are unsure about a newer item (they'll let you sample with no problem). As for ambiance, there is plenty seating outside, if inside gets full. They're often busy during lunch and dinner times (understandable), but it's because they're directly across from NSU's campus, and those are peak times (stating the obvious). As for my favorite protein - try the BBQ chicken or blackened chicken; both are packed with flavor! The cold cookies (as odd as it may sound) were sensational, too! My coworker and I wanted something fresh and healthy for lunch, and we saw great reviews for Fresh Kitchen. The ambiance is like chipotle but with healthy food varieties; plus every month they are introducing new items to the menu. When we walked in, everyone was friendly and welcomed us. Since it was my first time there, the staff gave me some great suggestions on what I should try. I went with their kale base, jasmine rice, almond crusted chicken along with broccoli and chickpeas. This is by far my favorite spot in Florida. I don't live in FL but every time I visit, I have to drop by. Fresh Kitchen can tailor to all the "frees" - gluten free, dairy free, soy free, paleo, etc. AND be incredibly delicious and flavorful along the way. I have friends and family members who have serious dietary restrictions but can eat there, which is such a relief that this place exists! Plus, it's so delicious that even as someone who can eat everything, you'd still appreciate it! Dietary concerns gluten-free (GF), nondairy friendly (DF), non processed sugar added (SF), and vegan friendly (V) are listed for each item. The build your own bowl are six, four and three, for combinations of bases, proteins, veggies and sauce. For my bowl six of 2 bases, 2 proteins, 2 veggies and 1 sauce, I had sweet potatoe noodles, crunchy kale cesar, basil mushrooms, lemon garlic broccoli, grilled rosemary chicken, teriyaki chicken, and holy kale sauce. All choices in my bowl were phenomenal, but the sweet potatoe noodles and holy kale sauce was next level! The service was quick in ordering. The fast casual restaurant seating inside clean, spacious with great background music. Outdoor seating was not practical with hoards of flies attempting to land on our food. I used to work nearby, and I ate lunch at Fresh Kitchen often. I haven't been in about 5 years. The food has gotten more expensive (like everywhere else) but it still tastes very good and is healthful. My cousin-in-law and I arrived a few minutes after it opened at 11 a.m. and it already was getting busy. The servers are polite and helpful, even friendly. Since I can never decide on what to get, I always need the 6-ingredients bowl. I love the sweet potato noodles and they are a must. Next is anything made with cauliflower. Today it was the cauliflower rice. (But I think I like the coconut ginger rice more, or better yet, the cauliflower potato mash.) I also had the broccoli and the spicy chick peas (though the string beans and mushrooms are a good choice, too). I don't care for BBQ sauce so I had the almond chicken (tender and flavorful) and the grilled citrus chicken (my favorite protein). I love gravy, but I don't need it or miss it with these options. For the first time, I tried the dragon fruit limeade. Wish I knew how much sugar (it says small amount) is in it. I sucked it down. Within a half hour of arriving, the place had a long line and most tables (inside and out) were filled. The eatery is simple and clean. I love that the restrooms are unisex (even if they are a bit dark). It was my cousin-in-law's first time at Fresh Kitchen and she loved her meal (almond chicken, string beans, and coconut rice). The quality of the ingredients at Fresh Kitchen are really good. The steak that I had was cooked perfectly medium. It was tender and went well with the sweet potato noodles. There was a long line but it moved along so that we were served rather quickly. The staff were polite. All three bowls were made as requested. Due to this location always being super busy, and I mean a line either by or out the door, I recommend ordering for pick-up. When it comes to a pick up order, it's placed on a shelf across from the register and all you have to do is walk up, find your name and go. When it comes to missing my drink cup, the workers are super nice to provide it to you with just a quick check of the receipt. When it comes to the food, it always tastes delicious and freshly made. Every bowl is made different but will always taste good no matter what's in it and the sauce or sauces you choose will always bring all those flavors together in. Due to so much being in the 6 bowl, it consist of Chilled Sweet Potato Noodles, Coconut Ginger Rice, Maple Sweet Potatoes, Golden Spice Chickpeas, Grilled Herb Steak, & Blacken Chicken w/ house made Sriracha. This Fresh Kitchen is in Davie right in the heart of the college area. A great quick stop for some fresh and fast food! Came here for a quick, healthy bite and it was easy to order. We were reminded of this spot after seeing them at the Museum of Discovery and Science Annual Food, Wine, and Spirits event. Once you enter, you fall in line and they have the "Chipotle-style" ordering so feel free to peruse the menu before starting to order as they have a lot going on their menu. I got a bowl of four (their "smaller" version with just less items) with their sweet potato noodles, caesar kale salad, mushrooms, and the almond chicken. This is my go-to order but sometimes I'll swap one of the bases for brown rice. Ordering was fast, staff was friendly and it was easy finding a place to sit and eat. It's definitely worth a try. This is my first time trying fresh kitchen and it was pretty good. They are a bit pricy for the portions you get but the food is very good. I got the sweet potato noodles, green beans, and steak. It was good other than the fact that they overloaded my bowl with green beans. They do have a large selection of drinks which were pretty good. I love seeing a place that has a great selection of gluten free options! Everyone here was also very friendly and helpful. You get to build your own bowl, and I chose the four item bowl. I got the sweet potato noodles, cauliflower mash, broccoli, and bbq chicken with a kale sauce. And it was a pretty good combo! I think my favorite was the mash; it didn't even taste like cauliflower! The kale sauce also really brought everything together. The only disappointment was the bbq chicken; it was really dry and too salty. They did not have the coconut rice at this location but the spice rice wasn't a bad alternative. I ordered the "four" bowl, which gives you the option to choose 2 bases, 1 veggie, 1 protein and a sauce. My order consisted of double spice rice, lemon garlic broccoli, grilled bbq chicken and coconut sriracha sauce. They have freshly brewed teas and frescas. I tried the peach mango tea but sadly did not like it. Totally missed the "unsweetened" label so ended up getting to the orange cream soda instead, which turned out to be amazing! She nodded with my rationale as I chose CAULIFLOWER MASH for my bowl foundation (bottom layer to my bowl) and kept building my bowl even choosing Sweet Potato Cubes (complex carbohydrate). When choosing, one can see and marvel at how many options there are and how fresh everything looks! I gravitated to the poached salmon with herbs so I made sure to get it. This store was a real find! I'd already been to a professional luncheon that day where somehow, despite being first in large group to order, my meal never came out before I had to drive to Davie for an appointment. I consider myself very lucky to then stumble upon Fresh Kitchen (FK) by sheer luck and happenstance. The Cashier was friendly, we talked, and I told her "my day is getting better." She was more than friendly she was very gracious. I picked up a drink from the beverage station. I headed out to the patio where several others, too, were enjoying all fresco dining. I was actually very pleasantly surprised by Fresh Kitchen. I came in a bit skeptical to be honest, but the flavor was on point. I ordered a bowl with brown rice, broccoli, mushrooms, blackened chicken, feta, and balsalmic sauce. I liked every single thing in my bowl, each item had distinct flavor and was prepared well. They actually forgot my mushrooms though which was a shame, but thankfully I got to try them from another bowl at my table and they were very tasty. Of the other items I tried from my family's bowls, the chickpeas, cauliflower mash, barbecue chicken, and citrus chicken were particularly good, and are all things I would order for myself in the future. Service was a bit of a mixed bag - I mentioned that they forgot my mushrooms, and they also prepared another member of my table's bowl really sloppily. However when we commented on it, a guy who must've been the manager came over and was super nice and professional. He took our feedback and apologized, and even gave us a coupon to come back for a free 6 bowl, which was very unexpected. I was looking for a new healthy food spot after the gym and Fresh Kitchen popped up. The outdoor sitting area is very welcoming and the interior is nicely decorated. The menu is a bit overwhelming for a first timer. But I prevailed and ordered a 4 bowl, or that's what I am calling it. I opted for their spiced rice, kale slaw, lemon garlic broccoli and blackened chicken. I got the coconut sriracha sauce but it did not add much flavor. Plenty of gluten free options it seems. I did not have a problem finding something to eat. I did not try their drinks as I opted for water. The flavors were good but the portion size was smaller than expected. I felt hungry after eating.
