The chicken was probably the worst part, it was flavorless and the texture was similar to just boiled chicken. There was barely any Parmesan in the wrap or croutons. Unfortunately, my friend chose a no-frills vegetarian wrap, which was promoted as one of the restaurant's best-sellers. It's not something we'd recommend. The Chipotle Veggie Burger Wrap, on the other hand, was a spicy, substantial, and flavorful (though a little messy) meal. This wrap was tasty, and I would recommend it with the chipotle mayo sauce (if you're not vegan, of course). The chicken was microwaved in front of me and for the chili, they said they'd have to microwave it because they hadn't taken it out to heat up. I was the only person in the store so the amount of time the food took to be ready, I found strange. There were about 4-5 people working but really only one person doing/making food and others standing around. It's a small place. Dang!!! Tha Yelp Daddy was not pleased with this joint. I used to come to Froots quite often and the food, service and their food options were a favorite of mine...BUT dang!!! Timez has changed. Sadly, my experience here not so pleasant. So, the meat and cheese inside of my hot wraps were cold. There was a hair in my food and the price of my meal didn't even come close to my experience eating here...$4 for a cookie, come on, Son!!!..Tha Yelp Daddy was tempted to ask fo' his cash back!!! Their smoothies and drinks are not so bad through. I wish the service is better, through...I felt like I went to my boyz crib in college and he's like "yo, you hungry!!" And makes a cold sandwich that he puts in the microwave, makes me a smoothie and then says..."yo, that'll be $30"..... Note: The drinks and smoothies are not bad!! Easily 5 stars! Wish I would of found out about this little shop on University before! The shop is taken care of very well, and super clean! The staff here are extremely friendly, and polite! There are many tasty healthy options provided here at Froots! I usually stop by for the shakes & smoothies but don't be afraid to try the food here too! The Chicken Caesar wrap is by far one of the best I've had in a while! Warm! Fresh! Not too heavy on the dressing, just right! But the best part about Froots aside from the 5 star service are the smoothies! I haven't had a single bad experience yet at Froots and my favorite would have to be the peanut butter smoothie. This place only came onto my radar from reading other people's Yelp reviews. The thing that stood out most positively was the woman working there. I am not sure if she was a manager or owner, but she understands customer service. From talking to her on the telephone to place my order, to talking to her in the store, she was very friendly, engaging and informative. I had an Açaí Bowl in Boynton Beach where I work and I called my wife to brag about it. My wife was excited to try one for the first time. Today, before going grocery shopping, my wife asked me to take her to this location. My wife selected the chocolate Açaí Bowl. On the menu, it list it at $7.99, but rang up $10. I looked past that and still made my purchase. After making my payment, I thank the lady, but I sensed a bad attitude. I have ordered for delivery from Froots umpteen times, and so have my co-workers, but today was the first time I actually walked in the store for lunch. This is my health recovery go-to place, ordering at least three times a week when I need an extra boost. I typically get either a healthy breakfast wrap, like the Greek G'd Wrap (Egg whites; $1.00 extra, Spinach and Feta cheese on a Spinach wrap and grilled) and fresh Detox juice; consisting of beets, carrots, ginger and lemons. I also love their mediterranean wrap (Hummus, Feta Cheese, Red Onions, Tomatoes, Black Olives, Cucumber, Spinach, and Balsamic Vinaigrette. They are generous in tacking it all on, and have a wide array of excellent choices! The customer service is like none other. Today Jen (owner) gave me her cell so that I can text her my order prior to opening for a faster breakfast delivery! Who does that!!! If you're in the area, you have to reach out to them soon. I've gone here a lot of because a lot of my coworkers and friends love this place. I also know the owner pretty well and it makes sense why this place is popular and successful. It's a small place but I rarely see people eating or drinking inside; they all seem to get their smoothies to go or food to go. They have a nice selection of items. I got a smoothie with strawberries, pineapples and mixed berries with a red bull blended in. The large size smoothie should definitely fill you up. Their Oreo one looks pretty good too! I got the chicken cesar salad which is really good and fulfilling. They definitely don't cheat you on the amount of chicken. I also got their bacon blitz wrap which is bacon, eggs and cheese and their farmer wrap which is ham, egg and cheese. Both were delicious! I really like the jerk chicken wrap too. It's spicy but not too much. If you like spicy food you will enjoy this one. Another recommendation is the Buffalo chicken wrap. I ordered the Peanut Butter Sensation Smoothie and the Kansas City Beef Wrap. The smoothie consisted of peanut butter, bananas, yogurt and milk. The smoothie was fantastic. It had a strong peanut butter flavor and great consistency from the yogurt. The Kansas City Beef Wrap consisted of roast beef, monterey jack cheese, romaine lettuce, tomato, jalapeno, and bbq sauce. It was okay. I wasn't a fan of the flavor and the roast beef wasn't very fresh. I wouldn't come back here for the food but I would come back for the smoothies. read more

Great place for a variety of smoothies made fresh with whole ingredients. Discovered this place by coincidence, but a fan ever since. Prices are great too. By far the lowest prices I have found in Davie for fresh made smoothies. They also have a variety of juices, wraps and salads, but haven't tried those. The only con right now I have is that they do not open before 9 AM unfortunately. If they would open earlier I would definitely visit this place before going to work. read more
