It has been 4 years and I have rediscovered Offerdahl's. I couldn't not re-review as the food keeps me coming back. The menu changes and they offer things you don't expect at a fast bagel place. Service is okay. The place is usually clean, however on today's visit I had to wipe down the table. I always like looking at the photos of John Offerdahl and his football days, as well as his family. My daughter loves the nova nosh and I have been hyperfixated on the "mess" which made me fall in love with a little honey on eggs. So good! Today's visit I had the watermelon & feta arugula salad. It had almonds, diced cucumber, shrimp and a little Romain. I loved it! My husband had a grilled chicken platter with macaroni & cheese plus broccoli. A perfect spot to get a bagel and coffee. Enough seating both indoors and outside. Typical order at the register and seat yourself. Service was quick. My everything bagel was fresh. They gave a healthy serving of nova and cream cheese. My wife got avocado toast that had an aioli sauce on the side. Self serve ice coffee was great too. I've only tried a bagel sandwich here so far. First, what was good. The price was much less than my favorite bagel spot nearby. Like half the price. The egg and sausage were decent, but nothing special. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself was clean and had plenty of space for guests. Unfortunately the bagel itself fell short for me. It did not scratch my itch for a NY style bagel at all. If you're looking for a bagel that fights back a little with that amazing chewy quality, this one was not it. I was slightly disappointed for sure. That said, I'm not ready to write this place off just yet. The prices alone earn them another visit, and I plan to try more items before delivering my final verdict. I rarely give okay reviews but it was a bit unpleasant how nonchalant the staff was about the food allergies we advised . We were curious about the menu, and asking probing questions about what sauces contained dairy, and what items were dairy free. The staff answered with a lot of I don't knows , and even after asking staff in the back they didn't seem to want to put in effort in giving us an answer. It seemed like they were ready to clock out, and basically made us figure it out . We were really turned off by the experience, we were starving so my bf played it safe and ordered just a bagel with eggs . The food was decent. I have eaten here many times over the years. I either order a bagel with scallion cream cheese but usually it is a Johnny's house Salad. Their bagels are fresh and I love their scallion cream cheese. It is very creamy and not too oniony for me. The Johnny's house Salad is so tasty. It has romaine, garbanzo beans, Craisins, feta cheese, cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, sunflower seeds & Mom's vinaigrette dressing. I think it is the perfect blend of ingredients. A lot of their menu items look good but I always seem to stick with this salad. I ate here recently but otherwise I haven't been in the area much. My first time at this location in Weston. So easy order at the counter and then sit down and have your order delivered to the table or wait for your order and go ( or phone in the order ahead time). My husband really enjoyed the fiesta bowl and added steak. The flavors are perfect and you can taste the flame broiled steak it was so good! The rice is yellow and the beans are tender. There was finely shredded cheddar cheese and scallions with a southwest sauce. Highly recommend this dish. I had a lightly toasted sesame seed bagel with cream cheese and lox it was so delish! They added tomato slices, red onion, cucumber slices and capers on it so complete! Must try the giant cookies here they are freshly baked and so tasty!! I came when John Offerdhal was working inside. He's very friendly and even went around offering a sample of the giant cookie! So fun! Must try this spot for a fast healthy option. A nutritionist helped curate the menu. This was my first time ever trying Offerdahl's and it won't be my last. Everything I ordered was amazing! The steak platter was cooked to perfection. Also the burger too! Which for me perfection is medium rare. What I love is that they offer a variety of healthy options. The steak platter comes with quinoa and mixed veggies. Now the service is also great. Everyone is friendly and the order comes out fast. I did curbside, which during these times is awesome because it keeps you extra safe. Overall, I found my new favorite spot! I've always loved this place since when they opened. And while they still have a delicious salad, I must say I'm greatly disappointed that they dropped the egg salad from the menu. I love their egg salad. Maybe someday they'll bring it back on special days of the week, hopefully. I was equally crushed to learn that they no longer carry the oatmeal raisin cookie. What a great place for lunch! We went here not knowing what we wanted and the staff was super friendly and helpful by pointing out some signature items on the menu, and what they consist of. The menu has a good amount of selection such as soups, sandwiches, and burgers. We went with the cauliflower salad, chicken soup, BlackNBlue burger, and ginger coleslaw. They give you a number and they bring your order to the table. The drinks like coffee and soda are self serve. The tables here are squished together, not much privacy. The outside has a couple of small tables. Our meals came within 15 minutes, and boy were we impressed. The soup and salad were huge. Nice cream soup with big chunks of chicken. The salad looked really fresh. My Black N Blue burger had a thick patty with a nice soft bun. There was some spicy sauce on it, which I did not like, but thankfully there wasn't that much of it. The burger was cooked perfectly, med-well. The ginger coleslaw was really good and tasted like they just made it. I've been to the cypress one a few times! It's delicious. So decided to try this location. They don't have any steak even tho it's on the menu .... But the food is good. However, we visited this one the other day for the first time and the girl whom was cooking, I noticed after we ordered and paid that she seemed sick. Her nose was all wet and shinny and face flushed and was sneezing. If I were alone, I would have cancelled my order. We are sick now. Shame on management for allowing an employee to work sick. We come here often and the food is great. However, the 8-grain bagels tend to be doughy, but fine. I don't care much because I scoop the inside of the bagel after toasted. Also, the chairs need plastic pads to minimize the loud noise when they're moved. This was the first time here since Offerdahl's Bagels became Offerdahl's Off The Grill. The food was excellent and the service almost "fast food" fast. The prices were reasonable considering what eating out costs now. I was impressed that many of the selections are available in half or full servings and that saves money and waste. I regularly pop in here for an afternoon cold brew and sweet treat. They have a great, smooth Nitro cold brew on tap, which is my personal fave. I love the scrumptious chocolate chip cookie - it is a chocolate chip cookie on the outside and when you bite in, it's almost like a soft brownie inside. If they don't have it out, just ask nicely, they usually go in the back and get it. I can not vouch for any of their main dishes, other than bagels, but everything looks really healthy and fresh. Service alone, this place has 5 stars for me - everyone is happy, friendly, and really works hard to get extra lines going or take orders on the iPad if the wait is long. Because I'm there regularly, they often get my order started before I get to the register - they're so attentive and kind. The managers, everyone! We walked in and as we figured out what we wanted a young man with an iPad helped us with our order. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches on everything bagels and bacon. My sister ordered coffee and I had the orange juice. They brought out the bagels. MMMMMmmmm, very tasty fresh bagel, the bacon is like a maple flavor, yummy. Gosh I love Offerdahl's - what a great concept! Their food is so fresh and healthy. Don't get me wrong... they have some delish treats like cookies and pastries too but for the most part the ingredients and food choices are super fresh, healthy and amazing. I placed a to go order around lunchtime for a custom Fiesta Bowl. For being around the lunch hour they told me it was only a 10 minute turnaround which I was super impressed by. There's a few "10 minute to-go" parking spots right in front of their place which was very convenient. When I walked in I was greeted by several of their staff members and was told someone would be right with me. Amazing customer service! I was honestly so impressed I added a chocolate croissant and red velvet cookie to share with a coworker with my to go order. The Fiesta Bowl was great, as expected. Still hot and fresh when I got it back to my office. Their chipotle ranch sauce is one of my favorites. I will say the cookie was a little dry but still quite delicious. I gave 5 stars because of the incredible, friendly service I experienced. Even though they were obviously quite busy on a Friday at lunchtime their staff were all so pleasant and welcoming and they had my food turned around so quickly. Today was my first time trying Offerdahl's. I placed my order online for in-store pick up and it was ready about 20 minutes later. I ordered the Johnny House Salad. They offer two portion sizes, I got the larger size with tuna salad as my protein. (NOTE: none of their salads come with protein, you can add a protein for an additional fee). The Johnny House Salad w tuna salad was great! Everything was fresh and very tasty. My bill was only $11 which isn't too bad for a large salad. I did have left overs from the larger portion so I may opt for the smaller size next time. All in all, great place, will definitely be back soon!! read more

Amazing place for a lunch stop! I used to come here frequently when I knew someone that worked nearby, but stopped after a while. I'm glad I returned because the food is so delicious! I used to get the Chicken BBQ Bacon sandwich (which I highly recommend, although I haven't had any other chicken one there). If you're vegetarian or vegan, the Very Vegan Sandwich is a must-try! Once I dined there with a vegan friend who ordered it. It was so good that I had to get it for myself the next time. Today I ordered the Fiesta Bowl, subbed in brown rice, and added chicken to it as another review stated. It didn't disappoint, although it is very filling so make sure you're hungry. Easy to find and a good amount of seating, the staff was friendly and the food didn't take long considering the place was 3/4 full when we walked in.
