The food is the reason I keep coming back. I love the variety, and there really aren't many salad places like this nearby. Unfortunately, the service is consistently disappointing. Almost every time I order online, my food isn't ready when I arrive and it feels like they don't start making it until I'm standing there waiting. The staff seem overwhelmed and understaffed, which I understand, but customers should still feel acknowledged. This experience was fantastic. I picked up these two creations and brought them home. My daughter enjoyed her Cilantro Lime Chicken bowl. She said they put in a lot of chicken. She substituted the included dressing for the spicy buffalo ranch dressing. I did the same with my salad. I always order the Crispy Chicken Poblano Salad. This has a great combination of flavors. They filled the salad up nicely and included a fresh lime. I was disappointed they did not have any bread when I ordered these. It is nice to have a little something with the salad. Recently opened location! Stopped by for a healthy dinner. This location is absolutely beautiful. The interior is very inviting with a very nice mural on the wall. The staff there was also very nice. The girl who did our salads was nice and listened to what we wanted. I absolutely love Just Salad and the variety of salads, wraps and bowls they offer. I also love that anything can be customized and you can add additional toppings. It's also very reasonably priced, especially when you compare it to other salad places or healthy food places. This eatery opened next to many others on University Drive at the SE corner of Sunrise Boulevard. Actually, Just Salad is sandwiched between a First Watch and a Chic-Fil-A that are still under construction. So getting to it can be problematic. But don't let that stop you. The offerings are healthful and delicious. My daughter went twice and raved. So I had to rush to try it. The place seats about 24 inside and maybe 12 or so outside. The staff is welcoming and friendly with loud greetings as you enter. Of course, at the time of my visit, there were more staff members than customers. And they are helpful as you try to figure out the menu and what you want to order. I got two items to go. The first was the Thai Chicken Crunch salad, and I substituted the ginger soy dressing for the peanut dressing (hubby is allergic to peanuts). In hindsight, I should have gotten some of the peanut dressing on the side. But the soy ginger dressing was refreshing and the salad was fresh, crunchy, and satisfying. I also got a Cilantro Lime Chicken Bowl. I don't care for kale, especially cooked, but since it would be cold and shredded and the rest of the ingredients were enticing, I ordered it. And it was my favorite of the two. I especially loved the overnight pickled onions. I don't recall eating any avocado (was it missing?) or any pita. But we scarfed it down quickly. You can get your salad dressing poured on light, medium, or heavy, or on the side. I got ours light with a side of the same dressing to go. (And I used more of both when I ate the salads.) Racist location! 04/10/26 ordered 2:56 pm Just ordered a chicken Caesar salad and I don't even want the shit no more your employee ruined my mood and appetite, & I will never be ordering from this location again. I literally ordered online hrs ago just to get my food 40-45 minutes late!!! What's the point of having online ordering if when we get inside your employees are just gonna stare at us like we're there for a party instead of having our orders ready? And serving customers ordering inside first as if that's not the whole point of online ordering... I've been a fan of Just Salad for a while and I was over the moon when they decided to open one in Plantation! Thank you finally!!! Location is fantastic and easy to get to. Plenty of parking and they open 7 days a week until 9:30 pm. They do a really nice job keeping the place clean and I truly hope they continue to do so. My go to is the pick 2 where I choose a salad and smoothie combo. It is a perfect pairing and sufficient amount of food to feel satisfied and healthy. This time around I ordered their season salad the "Honey Crispy Chicken - Salad" which I ordered as follows. You'll see I changed a few items to make it even healthier (plus I do Not like cheese or creamy dressing anywhere): Baby Spinach, Extra Crisp Romaine (I substituted the Romaine with Kale), Shredded Cabbage, Crispy Onions, Regenerative Organic Quinoa, Roasted Corn, Sliced Carrots, Crispy Chicken, Crumbled Feta (I substituted the Feta with Tomatoes). Honey Mustard Vinaigrette (Homemade) this I changed it to EVOO and a lemon. My smoothie choice is always the strawberry banana. My go to salad fyi in the past is the Chicken Poblano. Today at 3:15pm, This was my first time going to the Plantation location . It is well kept and everything was fine except for a female employee. She didn't want to service my friends and I. Spoke to us in a dismissive way. She waited till there was a line to service other people behind us. That was very rude. Then had the nerve to rush the gentleman that was servicing us. I have been tracking the opening of Just Salad in Plantation and it finally opened! It's in a brand new plaza that is spacious with tons of parking, and seating options both inside and outside too. They have a huge menu with so many options to choose from besides salad. I settled on Pick 2: Buffalo Chicken Wrap with Coke and chips. The Buffalo chicken wrap was absolutely fantastic! It has a homemade Buffalo sauce that is the perfect consistency of spicy and flavorful. I also love the miss Vickies jalapeño chips I got with the combo as well. The Buffalo chicken wrap came with a punch of 44 grams of protein with which for its size was also a great choice! I would definitely come back and order this wrap again, and even try something different because I don't think you can go wrong with any of their food as it's all great healthy ingredients, made to order! Today was my first time visiting Just Salad. I had no clue how to navigate. I was met with a past student of mine. (Gianna) So I was immediately ok. She explained everything to me. I felt well informed. By the time I got myself together, She was helping another person who knew what they wanted. Another young lady assisted me. But Gianna was not far away. (I saw her making sure my salad was made with perfection) I got the Thai Chicken Crunch and a drink. I was able to make a substitution for one of the items in the salad. Love the food, love the price, but the wait times for pick up orders is ridiculous. I've ordered pick up four times since this location opened and my food is never ready on time. I ordered two wraps and a smoothie for pick up at 6:20 p.m. tonight. I got to the location 10 minutes late ON PURPOSE because I knew my order wouldn't be ready on time...my food wasn't ready until 7:00 p.m. I can understand it being late by a few minutes due to being short staffed, but 40 minutes...seriously? I placed an order for a buffalo chicken salad, and when I got to my car, I realized the chicken was completely missing. I went back into the store to let the team know, and instead of simply correcting the mistake, I was questioned about whether I was sure the chicken was missing. I showed the salad to the employee, and he said he would "take my word for it"--as if I'd make something like that up. Then what I assume was the manager came over and asked if there was a problem. I explained the situation again, and the entire interaction felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. The staff was unfriendly, and instead of fixing the issue with care, they made me feel like I was in the wrong for speaking up. She was very patience with me and recommended a few other sides that would make my salad more delicious.
