Came here again for the Reuben sandwich - BEST IVE HAD....The employee, Junior, greeted us upon entry and was on task making sure we had everything we needed to have a great foodie experience, which we did. I actually thought Junior was the manager - he seriously should be... Will be back for another Reuben and of course for Junior...

First time stopping here as I was in the area, but I received great service from Tiffany. She was polite and helpful when it came to deciding what to get. I had the Southwest Chicken Salad, which was great! Would definitely come again.

They call this a Colossal Carrot Cake? It's tiny!

The Brookie is factory made and tastes mostly like a factory brownie. The chocolate chip cookie is also factory made but the best of the desserts, even though it has tons of chemicals like the Brooke. It's very chewy. The colossal carrot cake is actually on the smallish side. It's oily and okay tasting. It makes me wonder if this is made at a factory as well.

Wow!! Let me just say this wrap was so good. The ham and turkey was fresh. It was not like other places that have slimy deli meats. I did get the McAlisters honey mustard sauce on the side cz some times honey mustard to me can be very over powering. But it wasn't!! It was great. I would say I wasn't a big fan of their potato salad. I am BOTH a mustard or Pickles in my potato salad kinda girl. lol. The lady up front in the counter was so helpful and patient. She even suggested to me to download the app become a member and get a FREE big Tea. I did just that and got their famous Sweet Tea. Yes it's that good. I love me some sweet tea. I did wish I took a picture of it but I didn't. I was too excited to have sweet tea. This location wasn't busy for lunch. It had a nice calming feel to it. We did have the manager come up to our table asking how our food was and it was great. I do recommend this place.

The 3 1/2 star rating seems accurate to me. Average deli type spot. Soups and sandwiches were nothing special. Service was super friendly and helpful though. Wouldn't run to - but wouldn't avoid.

I have been to the McAllisters in Sunrise for lunch & I enjoyed it so when I couldn't think of a place for a healthy dinner on a rainy Saturday evening & my husband suggested the Plantation McAlister's Deli; I quickly put on some shoes snd headed for the door. I honestly wasn't sure they were even open because when we got up to the window we could see the dining room was empty. We ventured in and a friendly employee that was sweeping up greeted us right away. Another employee at the counter was quick to ask us what we would like. After a few minutes of looking at the menu I decided on the Savannah Chopped Chicken Salad with a raspberry vinaigrette dressing. My husband ordered the Southwest Chicken & Avocado Salad; we were given a number & told to have a seat & our salads would be brought to us shortly. We only had to wait a little more than five minutes for our salads to be made. My salad was perfection lots of fresh spinach, topped with just the right size pieces of chicken, cranberries, slivered almonds, and Gorgonzola cheese. I absolutely loved it and there was no guilt when devouring the entire thing. My husband really enjoyed his salad and it was a hefty portion as well. We were both just drinking fountain drinks but an employee came over to ask us if we wanted refills and to check on us while we were dining. Overall it was a great experience with delicious food and good service at a very reasonable price. I can't wait to go back and try another salad because there were so many options that looked tempting. They also have a large selection of sandwiches, soups, and potatoes that sounded delicious. Give it a try especially if you are a Panera fan because I feel the portions are a little bit larger and it's not as crowded.

These are massive salads. We both took half home. They're very Crisp, fresh, and filled with lots of veggies. I just wish they were chopped for a better mix of everything in each bite. But besides that, the staff was super attentive and friendly and the salads were delicious!

Very friendly staff but...Legit 1/2 sandwich and soup is $10 bucks. Soup is good. Portion size fail Gonna be hungry again very soon

We tried to go to a different restaurant for dinner but the parking lot was packed and there were a lot of people waiting outside so we decided against that place. I can't imagine how crowded it was inside! We had to go to Plan B except we didn't have a Plan B, lol. We were trying to decide where to go and I remembered this place and suggested we come here. Glad we did! There was a steady stream of people picking up their orders but the dining room wasn't crowded and we felt safe. The employees have always been very friendly and tonight was no different. Leia took our order then gave us a number to put at our table. She brought our food to us when it was ready and even checked on us during our meal to make sure that we were ok. My husband & daughter ordered the Choose 2; he got a half Chef Salad and cup of Chicken Dumpling Soup, and she got a half Spicy Southwest Chicken Sandwich and half Cesar Salad. I got The Veggie in a wrap with a side of potato salad. You get a good amount of salad for only being a half serving. Everything was so fresh and delicious!

This place hands down has the best sandwiches! It's made fresh to order. The restaurant itself is very clean and the service was spectacular. Only thing missing is a tip jar for the outstanding customer service.

The small deli/restaurant is mainly for take out, but they do have a couple tables inside. We chose to order here and eat at one of the tables. We got a chance to chat with the owner. We got a friendly welcome. She was quite sweet. When we asked, she told us that Goldy was her sister who had passed away. The restaurant was named after her. In addition to the menu on the counter, they have a blackboard with various featured items -- including soups of the day -- and specials. They use Board Head meats which you can see in the case. We both ordered their Italian sub, but I made a few changes to mine leaving out the ham and the capicola. The bread was soft and went well with all the meats, cheeses, and veggies. It was an excellent sandwich. We each ate half (the sandwich was stuffed with stuff) and took half home. We were talking about other options that they have when the owner mentioned various desserts -- including banana pudding. She mentioned that it's quite popular and sells out often, but she just happened to have some ready. This is my husband's favorite dessert. He couldn't resist getting a container of it. He took a few tastes there and devoured the rest at home. This place is definitely worth a return visit. And if you're looking for a good sub/hero/sandwich, etc. it makes a perfect lunch stop -- to eat in or to go. I'm so glad we tried them.

Ordering online was easy, and pickup itself was quick and straightforward. However, when I got home, I realized that both tuna platters were missing the bagel chips--so essentially I paid $17 each for just two scoops of tuna. I called the restaurant and was told they were out of bagel chips. That explanation raised more questions than it answered. If an item is unavailable, why not notify the customer? A quick call, or even mentioning it at pickup, would have gone a long way. I would have happily substituted for a bagel or chosen something else. Instead, I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant. By that point, I was understandably frustrated, and the response at the counter didn't help--the staff seemed indifferent. They did replace the missing items with bagels, which I appreciate, but the overall experience was disappointing. I used to really enjoy Marian's under the previous ownership and was a regular customer. Unfortunately, since the change in ownership, the quality of service seems to have declined. HUGE PHILLY CHEESESTEAKS…read more.. This sandwich shop is in a busy Publix plaza surrounded by several other restaurants and today we finally tried it. The ordering was simplified by a chart on the front counter which depicted a classic Philly Cheesesteak with sizes outlined at 5" 8" 10" and the behemoth 18" which was the best size vs price at $22.49. They cut the sandwich in half, which was plenty of food for me and the wife. We chose the optional green and red wet peppers. Took a nice pic of the Philly creation on the sizzling flat grill. We took a seat and waited about five minutes for this beautiful Philly to arrive at our table, served by the chef which was a nice touch. The Philly was absolutely amazing. The meat was cut thin and retained the perfect amount of juice surrounded by the gooey cheese. The red peppers were spicy so buyer beware. This was a top 3 Philly for me. The bathroom had nice white tiled walls and cement industrial weathered flooring. The picture on the wall displayed people on the beach holding Capriotti's sandwiches and drinks. The only issue was the door to the men's bathroom would not lock and the women's bathroom did not have toilet paper, although both very clean. The strength of the sandwich and the counter girl, Jesse's personality, will push this rating to five stars.
