The food was perfect Kelli served us she was EXTREMELY nice and helpful with suggestions. When we were walking in two ladies were walking out and they said "wow I love it here she was so nice!" I looked at my partner we laughed walked in and had the exact same reaction walking out. She also brought us our food to the table. One of the best service I've had at firehouse ever thank you so much read more

My daughter and I are regular customers to this restaurant. I normally order using the Firehouse App so we can gain reward points that can be used towards future purchases. From the moment we enter this restaurant the staff is very friendly and helpful; Levi and some of the staff already knows our family by name and the way we love our sandwiches; they always make an extra effort to make sure we're please with the food and the service. read more

Noticing a Firehouse Subs in the same plaza, I quickly checked the app on my phone to see how much points I had to redeem towards anything. Realizing it has been seven months since my last food purchase, all my points will soon expire unless current purchases are made. I decided to get a small sub to munch on for now. This Firehouse Subs location was spacious and has adequate table seating. The employees are friendly and the subs are prepared fresh and in a timely manner. I ordered a small Hook & Ladder...and the bread size is really small. I did say I was getting something to munch on, but $5.49 was a bit too much in my opinion. Despite the size, it was yummy. I will try to visit and make a purchase at least once or twice a month to retain my points. read more

Ordered Tuna with American cheese. Apparently the don't have American cheese. Apparently the use cat food grade tuna. This sandwich was horrible, one bite and had to throw it out. The pickle and cookie were good so that was my supper. read more

All the props to Barry and his staff for a job well done! A friend suggested I order from here for a Lunch & Learn I was sponsoring that required providing fifty boxed lunches to include a half sandwich, chips and a cookie. I spoke with Barry, and he gave a a great price and arranged to have my order ready for pickup when needed. I arrived yesterday for my order and was greeted with a smile by his staff. My orders were packaged perfectly. I paid and was out the door in no time. They even opened early to get my order ready. The place was sparkly clean and welcoming too! They also texted me at the end of the day to ensure I was satisfied. Class act, all the way around. read more

So, I hit this spot after work one day. Let me tell you about the awesome customer service. So, the Tuna Salad Sub was delicious. Always is. And the Tea - Fresh Brewed - was like somebody's grandma made it. Brewed strong but not too sweet. The entire staff was so personable and friendly. The Manager made sure my order was to my liking. I will be back to this location. read more

Sat on "hold" except Natalie did not put me on hold, and I could hear her whole conversation none of which sounded like assisting a customer, just chatting with a friend about facebook. I sat on hold for 15 mins and just gave up ordering food from here. Other places have more attentive staff. read more

Let me start off by saying that out of all the fast food sub places, Firehouse is hands down the best. And I've tried them all. I love that their subs are nice and hot, the quality of ingredients are fresh, and the combination of their specialty subs are so yum. You really have to get your subs "fully involved" to get the full experience though. Delish. My favorites are the hook & ladder, the engineer and the meatball. This location in particular has not failed me yet. I usually order from the app and every time I pick up, the food is ready for me. And the employees are super nice also. There are only a few tables inside for seating. Definitely one of the smaller locations I've been to but it's not a problem for me since I usually get it to go anyways. read more

This hook and ladder sub was so good and I got a deal with t-mobile Tuesday which was fantastic ! I need to get more!!! read more

just want to give a positive feedback I go here at least once or twice a week. The staff there is just wonderfull! The food is great. The service is always wonderful. I went there tonight(12-20-24) and the staff went over and above they had us try some new seasoning on our subs very friendly referred to me by name which is always great too, and then kept us updated on how long it would be before are subs would be ready even pack up my leftovers to bring home THANK YOU firehouse sub for always having wonderful employees there and making the experience great read more

Worst Firehouse subs I have been to, employees are horrible, management needs an attitude adjustment, the place is not clean and they do not listen. Yelp should offer 0 stars as an option! read more

The service was phenomenal, the employees were outstanding, especially Alex, he had a wonderfully cheerful demeanor and a great sense of humor. The Cajun Chicken is really good. Definitely recommend it. read more

I've ordered from this location multiple times and a recently the service has been absolutely horrendous. Missing items in my order, giving me the COMPLETE WRONG order, most of the sandwiches themselves look like they were just kind of slapped together with all of the fillings just spilling out. I recently ordered a meatball sub with a pickle spear and they ended up burning the bread to hell and back to the point where it hurts to chew, and they completely neglected to include the pickle. What's the point of offering the option for one if your employees are just going to say "f&%$ it" and ignore what I ask for anyway? It's not the first time this has happened either. Avoid this location if you can help it. The dip in food quality and customer service is not worth it, and there's a Checker's/Rally's right next door you can clog your arteries with instead. This place is garbage. read more

No choice but to use Door Dash for delivery order, to have the driver text me that she's on her way and ask me if I can pickup the order. You pay for delivery and tip the driver on top of the charges, only to have to go out and meet the driver to get my order. Considering this is my first time ordering from Firehouse and DoorDash it's probably going to be my last. read more

Went there to get a free sub for my birthday only to find out that you had to have ordered from the app with in the past few months (didn't know) and was a little sad. The manager worked with me and understood where I was and was beyond helpful and honored what I was looking for. 5 out of 5 for staff, management and flavor. Couldn't have asked for a more kind and better experience and a better early birthday! read more

Got a tuna salad sandwich. Taste great, but not exactly what I was looking for. I usually have a hard time picking dibs anyway.

Fantastic sub shop at commercial and University. Large quality portions. Barry is the new owner/manager and this place is fantastic. Great staff who exemplify customer service. They're willing to go above and beyond to ensure their guest's experience is fantastic. I do miss the hot sauce bar, through. Stupid Covid. read more

First of all I am a FirehouseSubs loyalist and rewards member lol this is hands down my favorite sub and it doesn't matter whichever location I am at. I am a huge carnivore and I shamefully admit but not really, I hate veggies lol So of course don't expect any veggies in my recommendation here BUT... I highly recommend the Hero sub with no veggies , no pickle and just mayo, white bread and steamed. When I tell you this is a sub from the heavens, it is. I can eat this whole thing by myself but I usually save the other half for lunch lol Sub taste 5 freaking stars times two!!! Price wise it's a bit up there for my liking about $10 for a full sub and it is quite big but comes with no sides for this price. I put 3 stars because cleanliness can be improved and the staff.. Bless them. Not the friendliest or some seem like they really hated their job. You could really feel it in the air lol. But despite that, I would continue coming back here only because their subs are fire. Pun intended hahaha! read more

Work close to this location and decided to visit. I would not recommend going there. I orders two meals and they were wrong. Had to drive back to the store waited quite a bit for them to correct my order. Would not be visiting this location again. read more

Totally forgot this location was here since it's tucked away next door to Staples in the plaza. They are a much better value and quality than the other "food" options nearby. We were greeted by the staff when we came in and everything was very clean and maintained even though this location has been here for some time. I don't like that they have so many sub options and it was kind of confusing the way the employee explained which subs came on which bread options. I think corporate needs to re-visit the "keep it simple" aspect. The quality of our subs were great. Had just the right amount of fillings and toppings and was toasted to perfection. They have a great selection of chips with the combo and this location now has one of those awesome Coke machines that have 100 different types of drink options! Leave it to me to get the regular/plain brewed iced tea but if you like having many soda and lemonade options it's there for you! There was a really nice employee walking around collecting trays and wiping tables while we were there and he wasn't busy making food. He made sure to come by and ask if we needed anything which I thought was really great customer service. My only unsatisfactory note is that I noticed one of the other employees fixing his visor with his food prep gloves on and I'm pretty sure he didn't change them afterward. Seeing that kind of stuff really turns me off and I hope they have regular training on food safety to prevent this from being a regular occurrence. PS: They also give a discount for fire department staff with proof of work ID! #WINNING read more

Came to this firehouse as I work in Tamarac for lunch. Somehow my order was mixed up and my food was given to another person. They quickly corrected the error and even gave me a fresh baked cookie for the inconvenience. Other than the mix up, service was great and my sandwich was delicious. Nice to see great customer service when mistakes are made! read more

I know some would shun from giving 5 stars to a fast-food eatery, but how could you not when they have rightfully earned them. We just went to this FS--famished after school. The minute we walked in, the two young people working there greeted us, and seemed genuinely pleased to see us. The young man, not the sub maker who was a female, began washing his hands to take care of us. I was floored he was following proper protocol. I asked about gloves and they said they were not allowed to use them, but had to wash their hands accordingly. He took our order to-go and a couple of other customers walked in. As the sub maker worked her magic, I watched from afar--he went and washed his hands right before taking care of them. I love it!! Withal, as we are driving to our next stop, my daughter says, "This is one of the two best subs I've ever eaten." And she's had quite a few in her young life. It had been some time since we came here, but after the excellent experience we just had, I will not hesitate to return soon! read more

Decent chain sub place. Small menu with decent options, mostly hot subs, and a nice staff. We wondered if maybe they'd just had a staff meeting about being friendly, because they were extra friendly at this location. Maybe this place was closed for a remodel a while back? I'm not sure why the other reviewer says it's closed; I was there today for lunch and it was open. read more

It's not as good as they boast. I ordered a steak and cheese sub and what I got was a steak with NO CHEESE. The so called steak was more like shredded steak that didn't taste very good. Overall, I was several miles away so I ate the sandwich rather than go all the way back. I wasn't very pleased with it at all. I Do Not Recommend This Place. read more

The worst customer service I've ever experienced. The manager needs to go as she has no clue how to handle a basic complaint of a sandwich being made incorrectly. Very arrogant and amends at all. Good Job Fire House Subs. We had 2 subs an Engine & Hook & Ladder and they were Great .

Was looking fwd to a good roast beef sub and saw good reviews so went online to order. I asked for black olives, salt and pepper as additions. Didn't get them. When I arrived one guy was bossing another guy to make my sandwich. Obviously ignored my requests. Also, the roast beef was grey and did not appear to be of good quality!
