BUTTER CHICKEN , GARLIC NAAN, VEGETABLE SAMOSA
    Harold D.

12/14/25 Sunday evening ordered delivery. Good taste, it is so fresh we loved it. I ordered butter chicken and it never disappoints. It tastes like it was just cooked when I ordered it. Ordered garlic naan, I always say the same thing , we never order enough of naan. It goes so fast. Also ordered vegetable samosas, it was a little spicy but so good specially with the sauce it came with. Also ordered gobi Manchurian you will be wowed.

Himalayan Indian Kitchen in Pembroke Pines, FL has officially ruined other Indian restaurants (in the area) for me, ......in the best possible way. The food is ridiculous--in that "wait, why is this so good?" kind of way. The butter chicken is pure comfort in a bowl, the lamb dishes are rich and tender, and the garlic naan should honestly come with a warning label because you will absolutely "just one more piece" yourself into being full. The momos are another level--once you try them, you'll start wondering why every restaurant doesn't serve them. Service is low-key, like you're a regular even if it's your first time. They're quick, friendly, and actually pay attention without hovering. The place itself is clean and relaxed--not trying too hard with fake decor, just letting the food do all the talking. If you're anywhere near Pembroke Pines and craving Indian and/or Himalayan food, this spot is a no-brainer. Come hungry, and maybe wear stretchy pants.

The decor here is so cute. It's super close to our place. So we came for dinner. We waited a bit to be seated seems like only 1 person was working. As we seat she attempted to take our order right away even though we hadn't gotten the menu just yet. The taste of the food was good. Not mind blowing but it was good.

A truly exceptional new location that has some of the best Indian food I have ever had and I have thought about it each day since I have been here. The location is very easy to find and very well lit. It had a nice vibe to it and the mirrors covering one entire wall made the place seem even larger! It was decorated nicely and the painting on the opposite wall was very pretty as well! The meal started off with an amazing cracker style bread that comes with a couple dipping sauces. One was a pesto style dip that was very refreshing as well one that was kind of like a salsa that was super refreshing as well. For the meal we decided to get the Himalayan Thali Set For Two. This runs roughly $52 and comes with a small spread of five menu options, an appetizer, dessert, rice and naan of your choice. I decided to try the chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, lamb RoganJosh, and shrimp Korma and garlic naan. Everything was insanely flavorful and all the spices blended beautifully together. The portions were generous for a tasting style plate! The rice was cooked to perfection and having some with each sauce and meat was amazing and rounded the dish perfectly. For the appetizer I had the Crispy bite-sized chicken which is sautéed with dice Onion, Bell pepper, chef special Himalayan flavorful chili-garlic sauce. Truly exceptional flavors here! The dessert I had was the gulab jamun which is a milk dumpling in rose flavor syrup. It was very sweet and while it was amazing it was too sweet for me to be able to finish. The service started off amazing but went down a little towards the end. We had to wave out waitress over to get boxes and the check. I will be back more times than I know how to count because this place is honestly a one of a kind around here!

I just had such a great meal here and I'm so excited to tell everyone what a great restaurant it is! I was undecided about going here but thanks to Karen N's review, my hubby and I decided to check it out. It was fairly busy for a Tuesday evening so we waited a bit for our food and believe me, it was well worth it. We decided to order the Himalayan Thali Set For Two after another couple sitting near us recommended it. It's a great deal for $52. You get your choice of appetizer as well as four entrees( you get a half order of each entree you order) off the menu, your choice of Naan bread, rice and two desserts. The only problematic thing about this special was trying to decide four dishes from the vast menu. We ended up with vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, lamb RoganJosh, and shrimp Korma and garlic naan. It was also served with a small spinach salad with a light dressing which was nice and refreshing and helped cool down some of the spiciness from a couple of the dishes. It was so much food that we even have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. For dessert which I was too full to eat, we ordered the mango ice cream and pistachio ice cream. I tried a small taste of each and I especially loved the mango one. So full of flavor and not too sweet. Everything was just perfect. If I had to choose a favorite I would say the butter chicken but it was all delicious. The restaurant itself was spotlessly clean and the service could not have been any better. A true 5 star experience and I can't wait to go back again and I highly recommend you checking it out if you're a fan of Indian food. They also have lunch specials during the week, closed on Monday.

A Nepalese friend of mine recommended this and it was definitely a hit! We also took a friend of ours from India, he said the goat tasted like the way his mom makes it - what a compliment!!! The restaurant is clean, bright, and cozy.

I used to drive 30 minutes for good Indian food until I discovered this place! It's a small restaurant, and the moment you walk in, you know you're getting authentic food -- which is exactly what I got. The Himalayan thali set is a great choice for two at a great price! It's a full-course meal that lets you experience a variety of dishes of your choice. I ordered the set for my guest and I, and it had generous portions. Each course was really enjoyable. Our server was kind, and her runner was very helpful. We truly appreciated our delicious meal!

My friend suggested this place. And I was excited to try it ! The menu is varied . There is a good variety with vegetarian and non vegetarian options. It is in a plaza that you can easily miss. But it sure is a hidden gem. My friend and I went for the Himalayan Thali special . It was such a good deal. 4 entrees and appetizer, naan, and rice. PLUS dessert . All for $52. 93 dollars. A bargain. The food was delicious. Just the right amount of spice. My absolute fav dish was the paneer masala. The service was great. The waitress told us that their lunch thali specials are very popular. You can pick it up . Also they have a special for unlimited entree during lunch dine in. I am so glad that my friend introduced me to this place ! The food is authentic Indian food cooked to perfection. I am definitely coming back here. A great spot to dine in or pick up .

    Chicken korma

This unassuming hidden gem in Pembroke Pines has delicious food. The interior is decorated with an Asian inspired decor. My son and I decide to try it based on reviews and its location. The chicken korma is creamy slightly sweet and very well seasoned. The tandoori chicken bryani was a generous portion of delicious basmati rice nuts and raisins. I will definitely be back again. The ac was on the warm side but food made up for this.

This is a hidden gem in Pembroke Pines! No idea why it wasn't packed. The service was good. I had the lamb bryani and it did not disappoint. The meat was tender and full of flavor. The rice was fluffy and perfect.

Thanks to a humble search on what to eat after the gym, Yelp has shown many good options, including this hole in the wall! It was our first time at Himalayan Indian Kitchen and it did NOT disappoint! Even despite the closed sign haha... it was a minor mishap. I'm glad I still went ahead to open the door to see if it was really opened and immediately told the waiter to flip it to "open" so it won't discourage other customers from coming. Although they have lunch specials, I'm glad we went with the kind man's recommendations. We ordered lamb korma to share, mango lassi for both of us to drink, chicken lollipop to start as an appetizer, and ras malai to end on a sweet note. The chicken lollipop starter woke up our tastebuds with a spike of flavor! My husband and I were both very pleased from such a small plate. It set the bar high with flavor, but not to fret, the lamb korma also delivered with immense flavor! It looked small at first, but do not underestimate... this ONE entree got us both very well satiated! He even offered to get us another bowl of rice, but it was not necessary, one bowl for us two was enough. We both had our own glasses of mango lassi, in which tasted very creamy and the right amount of tart and sweetness, and it's so thick, I didn't finish. I asked for a to-go up so I can have the rest of it later (which I totally savored when I got home). For dessert, we got the ras malai which surprised us because we didn't imagine it to look like ice cream. Hard to believe there's cheese in it! But it was honestly sooooo freaking good! Creamy and a little nutty from the crushed pistachios. We were highly impressed and although this plaza is light on the foot traffic, we hope this gem sticks around!

Good food overall, excellent place for Momos ( which are not common in any Indian restaurant), gobi Manchurian , fried rice and vegetarian biryani was good too! There was some flavor in Indian food :)

This place is in an unassuming plaza off the beaten path. It's got a relaxed and practical anterior with a bit of decoration and some cultural music playing. Nothing fancy, but not boring either. One of the things I loved was the dishware they use seemed traditional, added a charming touch. We went on a Saturday around 6 and they weren't very busy, but I could see to-go orders going out consistently. The staff wasn't overtly outgoing but they were perfectly attentive and polite. We ordered garlic naan, momo and buttered chicken as well as chicken malabari. Everything was DELICIOUS. The portion sizes were great for 1 person, not too much but definitely not too little. They give giant portions of rice, next time we are going to ask for only one portion to split so we don't waste so much. We got mild spicy for everything and it was indeed mild, just enough to add a zing to the dish, almost not noticeable. Their buttered chicken was surprisingly sweet; boarder line dessert level sweet. When cut with the rice, it was delicious, but not anything I've had before. I loved the madari flavors, felt very classic curry. The momo we got had a tomato based sauce on it, which wasn't my favorite, and it was quite spicy. But I admit, the flavors were really good and the slight fry to the dumpling was very enjoyable. The only reason, and I really waffled with this decision for awhile, that this place is getting 4/5 stars, is our dinner kept being interrupted by several fruit flies. It was really getting in the way of eating. I understand a fly here or there on occasion, but they just kept coming even after we dealt with them ourselves. It makes me concerned about why they were so abundant... Hate to end with it, but it's the truth and hopefully just a one-off, so I encourage you to still go and give it a try!

I thought the kadhai was a bit oily, but it was still tasty. We loved the naan, especially dipped in the tamarind chutney that I requested. There was one issue that made me, and my group a bit uncomfortable, and it was related to food handling and hygiene. There's an older female staff woman who walks around collecting empty dishes, but most surpassingly also is brining out food from the kitchen... with her hair opened up, down and flowing. When someone is handling food, typically their hair is pulled back, tied, out of their face and or have on a hair net. It made us all uncomfortable that this didn't seem to be addressed by management. Aside from hygiene concerns, that food and staff is excellent.
