Mutter paneer gravy was were smooth & creamy , naan was perfect amount crunchy and soft and stuffing of momo was very royal (it wasn't just veggies but it seemed they had added panner too, which I think made it royal) Service - it was exceptional too. Everyone was very warm, kind and friendly. They got everything we needed promptly . Also, we were disappointed with first momo plate that came and they changed it . That was very heartwarming Ambiance - clean, nice contemporary, fun

Apparently this has been there for over a year but I've never heard or seen this place despite being in the plaza several times in the year. I was looking for something different or new. While searching Indian, this came up and the Himalayan aspect peaked my interest. Particularly the momo dumplings being something I've never seen before sold me on this spot. The space is small but spacious, clean and bright. The hostess/waitress was nice and helpful when I asked for recommendations. We ordered the HIMALAYAN THALI SET( FOR TWO) which came with an appetizer, 4 entrées, 2 desserts, naan of your choice and rice. We were told it would take a while to come out because it all comes out at once. We said it was fine and ordered some steamed chicken momo to hold us over till the food came. Our chili paneer app from our set came out and it was quite tasty with a good spice/flavor. Maybe 10ish minutes later our thali set came out. We went with our waitress rec for one veggie (aloo gobi), one chicken (karahi), one lamb (korma), and one seafood (shrimp tikki masala). It came with one bowl of rice for 4 bowls of food. We chose the garlic naan but they had many different more creative options to choose from. The naan was good but not great. The aloo gobi was tasty as was the shrimp tikki masala. The lamb korma sauce was delish but the lamb pieces were a little hit or miss with some tender but others a little harder or dry. Maybe another 10 minutes after our main dishes arrived, the steamed momo arrived. It was tasty and very layered with different flavors that I couldn't quite pinpoint. For dessert we got the kheer and mango kulfi which were unique. Without having a reference point for what a regular entree size is, it's kind of hard to say the cost value in the thali set for two, but if it's your first time and you want to try a a few things, it's probably worth it. I will be back to try the lunch specials next time.

But this is Indian food as far as I am concerned. This restaurant has a weekend buffet with nice choices for under $20. All cooked fresh. The only difference is they didn't layout tandoori chicken like other Indian lunch buffets I have been too. Still each dish was delicious with different type of veggies and meats and curries. It has a clean and bright dining room that seats at least 50 with a few odd pieces for decor (umbrellas and a spinning disco ball). The restaurant is advertised as Indian, Bangladeshi, and Pakistani. But the cuisine is just what we wanted. There was no lunch menu. So we ordered from the regular offerings. I wanted goat kadhai curry but since there was none listed, I settled for chicken kadhai curry. My cousin-in-law ordered chicken tikka masala. You have a choice of either rice or naan with your meal. We both had rice and got a side order of naan. We ordered mild because of my past experience with the food here being very peppery. We probably could have gone up a level, but the mild was flavorful and had a decent amount of spiciness. Both meals were good and boasted tender and well-seasoned chicken. I thought the kadhai was a bit oily, but it was still tasty. We loved the naan, especially dipped in the tamarind chutney that I requested. During the two hours that we dined, we were the only ones in the restaurant, so service was quick and attentive. Our meal was about $22 each including tax and tip. I hope to go back and try a few other dishes.

The food was delicious, including the appetizer. My favorite dish was the lamb vindaloo, flavorful, and the perfect level of spice, I did ask for extra spicy, and it was decent, for someone who's spice tolerance is high, "extra spicy" here was just ok. The mango lassi is outstanding. It tasted fresh, nice consistency and not too overly sweet, which makes it a perfect match for any of their spicy dishes. I also recommend the onion bhaji, it's a delicious fried fritter, and an excellent choice for those who don't eat meat. There was one issue that made me, and my group a bit uncomfortable, and it was related to food handling and hygiene. There's an older female staff woman who walks around collecting empty dishes, but most surpassingly also is brining out food from the kitchen... with her hair opened up, down and flowing. When someone is handling food, typically their hair is pulled back, tied, out of their face and or have on a hair net. It made us all uncomfortable that this didn't seem to be addressed by management. Aside from hygiene concerns, that food and staff is excellent.

We ordered the veggie samosas, chicken tikka fries, paneer tacos, a side of fries and mango lassi. The mango lassi was flavorful and refreshing. The side of fries were crispy and for $6, you get a ton! The veggie samosas were incredible. Crispy on the outside, delicious flavor on the inside. I could've just had two orders of those and been happy. The chicken tikka fries were such an insane portion, definitely enough for 2. The chicken was juicy and fresh. The tikka was pretty spicy, but not spicy enough to ruin the meal. Just spicy enough maybe to make the nose run a little, but leave you wanting more. The paneer tacos were super unique. Ive never seen anything like it. They weren't skimpy on the paneer either, would absolutely order these again! Overall with everything we ordered, and a soda, the total came to $53.40. Considering we didn't have to eat for the rest of the day, and two of the items we got were unique, I'd say it was worth the money and I would for sure be back to try other things.
