Came to King's Grill on a Saturday afternoon. There wasn't another soul in the restaurant which was really nice. It's a decent size, minimalistic, nice greenery. We ordered the veggie samosas, chicken tikka fries, paneer tacos, a side of fries and mango lassi. The mango lassi was flavorful and refreshing. The side of fries were crispy and for $6, you get a ton! The veggie samosas were incredible. Crispy on the outside, delicious flavor on the inside. I could've just had two orders of those and been happy. The chicken tikka fries were such an insane portion, definitely enough for 2. The chicken was juicy and fresh. The tikka was pretty spicy, but not spicy enough to ruin the meal. Just spicy enough maybe to make the nose run a little, but leave you wanting more. The paneer tacos were super unique. Ive never seen anything like it. They weren't skimpy on the paneer either, would absolutely order these again! Overall with everything we ordered, and a soda, the total came to $53.40. Considering we didn't have to eat for the rest of the day, and two of the items we got were unique, I'd say it was worth the money and I would for sure be back to try other things. read more

IDK if they got new management or what but it just wasn't hitting like it used to. Samosas were delish! This is a very interesting place and you will likely get a lot of opinions from the uncle owner on what you should order. Other than that, though, the food is actually very decent! I really enjoyed the boneless wings with different sauces. Didn't really like the tacos (not a ton of flavor). Burger and loaded fries are pretty good. Tried King's Grill spicy chicken burger with fries. Must say it was one of the best chicken burgers I have had as there aren't many halal chicken burgers joint in SFL. The place is nicely kept clean and service was superb. We ordered two burgers and both were made ready within 15 minutes. The chicken tenders were hot and fresh and fries weren't bad either. Burger would be even better if they had toasted the bun a little. On my next visit I am definitely trying spicy chicken subs. I am sure other items in their menu will be just as delicious as the burger was. I'd rate the burger 8/10. They earned my five star on yelp for both food and service. read more

Decided to get some Indian food for pick up and after searching, came across this place. After viewing the menu, which as a ton of options, from butter chicken bowls to subs, I was sold. I got the chicken tikka masala fries and steak bowl. The fries were fantastic, you could smell the flavor as soon as they came out, super fresh, packed full of flavors, the fries themselves are like 6/10, not my favorite but the combination of the fries and masala made this outstanding 9/10. The steak bowl was even better, usually when places do steak bowls, the steak is dry and no flavor, the expect the sauce to do it, but here was different. The steak by itself is as really good and mixed with everything else was amazing. Overall, great food, priced fairly and everyone inside was really nice. read more

Nice Place, Good Food. Strip mall restaurant that is pretty comfortable. Menu is both Indian and American fast foodish with wings, nuggets and fries. Came for the Indian. Samosa was good, mushy potato inside, sauce was a bit spicy. Paneer Tikka masala was the best. Love the squeaky cheese and the mid thickness of the sauce. The Daal was watery and not to flavorful. Service was excellent. Rice wasn't included in dishes that require rice or naan. Just add two dollars to the price so you have the full dish. They deliver which would be a good way to go. I would say this is kind of a meat heavy Desi place. they have a lot of the north Indian/Pakistani type foods. I thought the food was good. Ambience inside was pretty bad. Kind of depressing. The people in there kind of stare at you including the other types of customers. This place doesn't come off as a very fancy place so I was hoping that I could get my son a not very spicy dal with rice. However, they could not make the adjustment with the dal. Therefore, my son could not eat it. It's OK I ate it eventually. In comparison to Mantra, which is an A+ for ambience and food, they also were able to make our dish kid friendly when we asked. Have driven past King's Grill a lot but decided to try it out for dinner one night. I got the Chicken Boti bowl and the wife got the butter chicken burrito. It was amazing! Flavorful, tasty, aromatic just so good. Enjoyed it so much we got it again tonight. Shrimp Taco and Chicken Tikka Masala sub. The wife loved the burrito so much that's all she wanted. Cannot wait till I get to eat here again. My only regret is not trying this place out sooner. Also, anyone saying the service is slow, you can call in your order ahead of time. It's a smaller operation and Covid has place a strain on even the largest restaurants around. Cut people some slack. read more

So I have been wanting Indian food for awhile, but my husband didn't care for it. I love the place near my job, but since I'm still on maternity leave, I can't enjoy those places yet. So I finally searched on Yelp and decided to Postmates this place. I had my favorite, which is the Chicken Tikka Masala. It came with Basmati Rice. I ordered Garlic Naan and Roti bread as well to try. The Chicken Tikka Masala was good once I stirred it since the oils had settled by the time I received it. I usually order it spicy but chose mild since I didn't know the spice here. It had some kick but next time I will increase the spice. The Roti bread was good and I love to dip that in the Tikka Masala. However the Garlic Naan was underwhelming. It wasn't as crispy and buttery as I'm use to from other places. But after I put it in my air fryer the next day and added my own butter, it was perfect. Overall, I will give this place another try. read more

I've been getting takeaway from this restaurant over the past year and it's seem like the topping are shrinking. The spicy chicken sandwich is not spicy anymore . it a 2 out of 5 . The Philly cheese fries had about half the amount of meat on it from what it used to have before. Again another 2 out of 5. Need to find somewhere new read more

We ordered butter chicken, chicken biryani, 2 orders of samosas (4 samosas total), and roti, total with tip was around $42. Service was pleasant, the lady on the front counter explained everything to us, and pointed out some recommendations. Chicken biryani was delicious, I asked for extra spicy, and it came out perfect, spicy with flavor. Samosas = 100/10, loved it, especially the sweet tamarind sauce that came with it, definitely get that in your order!!! We ordered butter chicken, usually it's creamier, but I think we actually got a chicken tikka marsala dish since it had a lot of tomato purée in it. Very tomatoey, unlike butter chicken that's usually creamy and sometimes slightly sweet. I couldn't really tell if there was cream in it which is what made me think it was tikka masala. Roti was roti, pretty standard. I would have given this 5 stars, but I wasn't sure if they gave me chicken tikka masala or the butter chicken that I originally ordered, I've had butter chicken plenty of times, usually not as much tomato sauce. That's the only thing that threw me off. I'd come back, good quick service, delicious food, reasonable price! read more

I was a regular here until recently. I had had a very hard day at work so I came here with my date who wanted to cheer me up. I have a dairy allergy that I learned to just cut out dairy all together. It's tedious because cheese, butter & milk are used in almost everything nowadays. If I could, I'd choose to not have this food allergy. Trying to keep up or taking pills or doing extra work to prevent an uncomfortable reaction is very exhausting. Which is why I just don't bother consuming any dairy. Once again, I was a regular here. This woman has taken my order before. She's the tall, slim young lady. You would think she'd recognize me by now. I never order cheese, I always ask if something has dairy in it & say "No cheese please. Mayo is fine." I always ask for the ingredients before hand. So this shenanigans began with the tandoori sub. I asked what all came on it. She went down the list. I didn't hear cheese on it & neither did my date. I remember saying "Wait. So no cheese comes on it? That's perfect." When we got our order, I noticed the sub had melted cheese all in it. I felt horrible because now I couldn't try the sandwich. I hate being the person sending food back. I do but it was either sending it back or not enjoying the sub. I went up to the lady, gently explained that I thought it didn't come with cheese & that I can't have it due to my dairy allergy. I asked if it's possible to either have it remade with no cheese or get another sub. Already, judging by the bitter nastiness written all over her face, she refused to comply. She really pierced her lips, gives me a nasty look & sharply says, "I told you it came with cheese." I explained that I didn't know that & if I did, I would've never ordered it. Why would I order something knowing it would make me sick or cause physical pain? Instead of doing what someone with GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS would do, she proceeds to make very vile stabs at me, talk down to me & argue with every thing I would say. She really preferred to PICK A FIGHT WITH A REGULAR CUSTOMER that WASN'T EVEN RUDE TO BEGIN WITH instead of just remaking it or offering an alternative. She was more obsessed & consumed with being "right" instead of just correcting & resolving something simple. She was that furious, angry & annoyed. All she cared about was being "right" by throwing insults & nasty remarks. She proceeds to raise her voice & talk to me like I was stupid so midway of her nastiness, I just walked back to the table & left her standing there as she kept insulting me. The worst part is that my date had to take matters into his own hands. She was SO MUCH NICER to him. He decided to take the sandwich & just buy me another thing off the menu WITH NO CHEESE. Which felt even more jacked up because he still tipped this horrible b*tch for her HORRIFIC service. I used to love & enjoy coming here but after that experience, I will never recommend this business to anybody ever again. Clearly, this has to be a family owned business because in other places, she would've been immediately written up, disciplinary action would have to be taken & she would've been in deep sh*t. You do NOT talk or treat customers like that at a restaurant, let alone a regular unless you want a bad reputation or never want to see them again. Either way, good riddance read more

I visited this location for dinner. There is a lot of parking at this restaurant due to it being in a shopping center. Inside the restaurant is quiet. They played some Bollywood music videos which were cool. There are several table available to sit. It is open sitting where you can choose your own seating. It is a good place for families or even date night. The waitress came to the table to take our orders. The food took a while to come out but it was fresh. I had medium spice which was perfect. The garlic naan was one of the best I've had. I would definitely visit this location again. The food is great for the prices. The portion size is good. The waitress was attentive while we ate. This was an impromptu experience. The kind you love to have when it all works out well... On an evening hubby and I packed up the truck with blankets, pillows, comfy clothes to change into and head over to the drive-in. One of our favorite things to do for date night. On our way we decided to pick up some food and other goodies instead of buying our usual wings and fries from the drive-in. We stopped here. This was our first time. I read the reviews on Yelp which were pretty enticing. Hubby went in and picked up a to-go menu for me. After browsing I settled on what I wanted and he placed the order. It was ready in 15 minutes which gave him enough time to run into the nearby Publix and pick up a bottle of wine, strawberries and a bag of cashews. (One of my favorite nuts). After we got set up at the drive-in and our movie was underway, we happily dove into our food. What a mouthful of pleasure and flavors you would most definitely remember. The wings were juicy and the fries, with the sauce drizzled on top, and the bite-sized chicken pieces were to die for. If you love spicy foods, they will deliver. Okay... so I was a bit skeptical of this restaurant. I'm trying to slim down my figure but that's like never going to happen. I'm still trying to find the right words to describe King's Grill food, but how about you guys go and try it out and help a sista out?! Here is what I got to try... honey & garlic boneless wings, mango habanero boneless wings (courtesy of the amazing and humorous owner), Chicken zinger taco, steak pita, and tandoori chicken boti. Let me just narrow down to my all time favorites... the chicken zinger taco and the steak pita! The steak pita was so flavorful and stuffed in this pillowy soft pita bread. The chicken zinger reminds me of the old twister wrap from KFC. The batter they coat their chicken in is very flavorful and full of spices. Now on to the boneless wings, personally I've never been a fan of boneless wings/nuggets. I typically like my wings with the bones. The wings were good, but taste wise they could be better. The crispy coating easily comes off the chicken and most of the flavors are situated in the coating. I'm left with eating either just the coating or the naked piece of chicken breast chunk. The wings did lack some salt. I did bring it up to the owner and informed me he prefers the customers to add more salt on their own as he has been advised in the past that his chicken were too salty at one point. I get it... so I just went about and added to my liking. The chicken tandoori boti, it was okay, the texture to me was very rubbery, and that didn't sit well with me. I couldn't get myself to continue it. So I packed it up and just hoped someone at home would wake up in the middle of the night and eat it instead of me. This dish is supposed to come with salad, but I was mistaken, the chicken is laid on top of a bed of shredded lettuce and tomatoes. To me, that's not really a salad. That's just for decor. If I were to return it would be for their tacos and wraps. Flavor packed and really tasty! Our waitress was super nice, patient, and accommodating. I've be here on 3 separate occasions now, and I've left satisfied all 3 times. The food is great and so are the prices. The staff is nice too. I would say that the spicy chicken sub, chicken tandoori taco, and zinger burger are my favorites from the times I've gone so far. The fries they serve are really good too, they almost taste like the fries from Checkers. The decoration inside is pretty bare, but when the food is this good their interior can be ignored :P Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the long wait every time we've went. I ordered from this restaurant through Uber eats. The food arrived quickly, but I was very disappointed with the dish. I found the chicken tikka masala a bit too spicy, but I understand that spiciness is subjective. However, the sauce had so much oil that it soaked through the top of the container and I had to do a double take to make sure they hadn't given me the wrong dish. Instead of being creamy, the sauce was ridiculously oily. They basically gave me chicken karahi and decided to call it tikka masala. If you can find another Indian or Pakistani restaurant in the area, I think you might be better off giving them a try before coming here. read more

I really only go here for the chicken tikka tacos- no onions because well, they are raw, and light jalapeños because my tolerance for heat is moderate at its best. I may try the biryani one day because that really is my favorite. If you're a lightweight with spice, be sure to ask or give and reinforce clear instructions for mild spice because they tend to have a heavy hand. Get the tacos! read more
