The recipes are okay, but there are a few serious concerns. On first notice, there were flies inside, which was difficult to capture, but I managed to do so. Though there are many food options, the interior design is not fantastic and the seats aren't particularly comfortable. Good service, not necessarily decor, a very strange contrast between high level service SOP's, some fantastic menu items, others of much lower quality. This isn't a cheap option, and I expected more. The server was attentive. We had a delicious meal in a comfortable environment. The decor is colorful and the light fixtures are beautiful. We started with the samosas and tamarind chutney. They gave us papadum as something to snack on while we waited on the meal. I was a little chilly and started with the hot masala chai - it was a creamy and had the wonderful flavors of ginger, cloves and other tea spices. My husband loved the rich and creamy mango chicken curry. The naan and paratha were perfect to scoop up the sauce. The goat was fall off the bone tender. The spicier masala sauce was just what I was looking for. Paired with the raita, it was a wonderful balance of cool and creamy with the flavors of onion, ginger, and tomato. We loved the desserts and ended up eating them before taking photos. The mango kulfi was cold, smooth and sweet - similar to a spiced mango gelato. The gulab jamun were wonderful balls of decadence. It's like a donut coated in a super sweet and fresh, rose water flavored sauce. We will be looking forward to our next experience! read more

Food was just out of this world. Dahi bhalle chaat and papdi chaat were our appetizers. We tried Chole bature with Pindi Chole, saag paneer and daal makhani. Each item was finger looking good. This was our first time going to Zaika, and we're so glad we went! Four of us went for dinner on a Friday night and were the first ones there. (It was getting full when we left around 7:00, so keep that in mind.) The place is very nice inside and very clean. (Side note: My husband said the bathroom needed to be cleaned, but considering our overall experience, I'm not letting that affect my score.) Anyway, our server, Koli, was fantastic! He made recommendations, knew the dishes, made sure we always had everything we needed, and was a pleasure to deal with. And the food! We each had different things and I can truly say there wasn't a miss. We had chilly shrimp, samosas, samosas chaat, tandoori momos, tandoori biryani, shrimp vindaloo, goat, masala, bullet naan, and garlic naan. Add some Indian beers for the men and prosecco for the ladies and we were happy campers! I can't believe in the four years this place has been open, we never knew it existed. I went to Zaika Weston during Diwali (which marks the beginning of the new year in the Hindu calendar- and celebrates the year's last rice crop harvest). The food was amazing! I haven't had Indian food in a while and after going to Zaika I am hooked again! I ordered the vegetable Korma at the Indian spice level and it was extremely flavorful. I thought it would be a lot spicier but it was still delicious. The restaurant had beautiful paintings and the design was very nice. Our server was extremely kind and attentive. I knew I had to stop in at Zaika as soon as I saw they offered momos on their menu, and I'm happy to say they do not disappoint. This is a great stop for tasty Indian food in the Weston area. I've visited a few times now, and have enjoyed myself each time. The momos that got me in the door are fantastic - I love that they cook theirs tandoori-style to give them a little something different, and the ginger sauce they come with is perfect. Their naan always tastes fresh and is chewy without being tough. Particular favs off the entree list so far have been the chicken saag, dal makhani, lamb roganjosh, and the karahi paneer. Food comes out piping hot every time, and the prices are super reasonable. I've never done takeout, but it seems like they always have a ton of orders coming in for it. Whenever we go we have to order mild for my family, so I can't actually attest to their spice scale (mild isn't hot at all). They do offer an Indian Spicy level on the menu which seems promising though, and the food still has great flavor even without spice. Now - allergies. As someone with a nut allergy, South Asian food is always kind of risky. Whenever I've asked questions, they've always gone in the back and checked on things for me. It seems like they try to be careful which I really appreciate. However, I did have a bit of a strange experience where one time they said the mutter paneer was nut-free, and the next time they said it wasn't. I was fine so I'm assuming nut-free was true at least the first time, but.... Not sure if I can order this safely anymore, which is sad because it's really good. read more

I did not plan to Review it again. However I clicked on the link and the "review " sat in draft for months. It's a classy place - white tablecloths and polished silverware. I frequent this location a lot, whether it's dining in or uber or eats and food is still 10/10- super delicious, flavorful, etc. Now i had to take off a star because they've really started skimping with the amount of meat or protein in the meals, especially for the price. But i wanted this review to mostly be useful because i still think everyone and their mom should try Zaika. It's the best (yes, best) Indian food in Broward. Below are the MUST TRYs off the menu, in order of most must try to least: 1. Paneer Makhani (NOT the Mutter) 2. So we first visited Zaika on a trip to South Florida back in 2022, and we liked it so much we ended up eating two meals there. Fast forward to November '25, we were in the area and craving Indian food, so we found ourselves back and I'm so glad we did! I've been on the hunt for a new Indian restaurant, so on Sunday I tried this place out. Upon coming in I found that it was a nice cute, cozy restaurant. when I was greeted, I told the young gentleman that I wanted to place a to order. He gave me a menu and told me if I want to have a seat that I could, he'll be right with me. I ended up ordering the butter chicken medium spice, and the tikka masala lamb chops, some garlic naan and fried cauliflower. While I waited, the young gentleman asked me if I wanted something to drink, which I thought was nice. Customer service was on point this day. So I tried the butter chicken, which I feel like I get medium spice at other places, but this one was like super spicy. So much that I couldn't taste anything, but that. I still enjoyed it though. I just wish I got more of the other flavors. The tikka masala, lamb chops I felt the texture was a little weird, so I didn't enjoy them very much. I thought the fried cauliflower was really good. I got that at the medium spice level, again I think mild would have been better. The garlic naan was super good as well. It had the perfect amount of garlic. I got to start coming to these places at lunch time because whewww they are expensive. At some point I may come back but I'm still on the hunt for the best. read more

Came around 5 pm and was sat down right away. The waiters were quite attentive and quick. It was 3 of us and 2 of my kids. We ordered the chicken lollipop for the kids and the garlic naan and regular naan. The kids loved the naan but they weren't used to all the flavors in the chicken lollipops so they didn't like it. But the adults liked them. They're basically chicken thighs from the wing portion deboned and pushed down into the bottom to resemble a lollipop then fried. The chicken was full of flavor. It was served with a sauce but even without the sauce, they were good. For main we ordered the malai kofta, curry with snapper, and I think chicken shashi korma. It did take a while for the main dishes to come out. There were only about 4 tables but they looked like they had a lot of take out orders. Every dish was delish but the portion size is extremely small. Even my Indian coworkers mentioned how little food they serve. The fish curry cost $28 and it was served it in the same tin bowls. With maybe 4 pieces of 2 inch by 3 pieces of fish. That I didn't think was worth it. That's my only complaint. We weren't big eaters so it was fine. I was in the area and found another Indian restaurant that I have not been to. I tried my go to on a first visit, as it enables me to make comparisons. I ordered their lunch offering of chicken tikka masala. This came with a fresh naan bread, whereby you can choose a plain a garlic naan, or a roti. This also was accompanied with a freshly fried samosa. My friendly server asked how hot did I want the curry, and I said medium. Well WOW, it was very spicy, more like an American medium/hot. So take my advice go one level down in the heat department, as these guys offer Indian hot level NOT American hot level. The rice was pleasant, the curry was great. I also tried a mango lassi to counter the spice level, which helped. The prices were also very competitive for the area. The decor was fresh, modern and colourful. Recently I have been going to a lot of Indian restaurants all around Broward and miami dade county. I was always a fan of Zaika and was really happy that they opened one closer to me. It's located at a little strip mall, in a corner space. The decor and ambiance was done really well and, just like the Zaika in North Miami. The food was good, solid choice. Dishes were out hot and tasty. We had the butter chicken and lamb vindaloo. Service was great and the waiter was attentive. I am giving Zaika four stars only because now that I've eaten so much Indian food, I'm a bit better and I think the dish flavors were a bit more suppressed to please a wider crowd, but it's still a go to and choice for me. read more

A culinary delight. Zaika is more than a restaurant, it is a dining experience. The atmosphere is fresh and inspiring with interesting cultural art. The food is super tasty. Mild is a bit hot. So you may want to go mild and add your own heat as needed. They have traditional Indian food, prepared to order, and also feature several vegan and vegetarian options. Now for the service... unmatched. The waiters and staff are "over-the-top" friendly and attentive. Our waiter, Alok, is by far one of the best waiters I have ever experienced. He could not stop making sure they we were happy and that we had everything that we needed to enjoy our meal. If they had an "Employee of the Month" award, I would have nominated him. If you are looking for one of the best restaurants in South Florida, this is the place for you. Note: Makes for a great date night or bring the whole family. This was my first time trying Indian cuisine, and I was super impressed. The atmosphere felt very peaceful and the noise level was not too loud. I ved the warm colors of the restaurant. The entree was the chicken vindaloo, which was not too spicy as I thought it would be and I was recommended to try the medium. It was very delicious and the mango chutney complemented the spiciness of the main plate. GF had the very tamed and not too spicy chicken karahi with a raita sauce. She enjoyed it very much and I had a taste and it was good. Service was great and our waiter was very nice to us as we had told him that this was both our very first experience. He was super helpful at certain recommendations and was knowledgeable about each dish. With such an amazing experience and delicious flavors. I would love to have given this place 5 stars. The food was amazing. Flavors on point! My butter chicken was really good. My sister has some chickpea dish, and it was really good too. She loved her garlic naan too, which I didn't try but it looked scrumptious. The service was okay. I was seated in a table with super hard wood chairs. I asked to be moved only to be told there was someone at the table (I wanted with upholstered chairs) because there was a bag on it. They then tried to accommodate me by bringing me a cushion to sit on. I thought that was nice. I was waiting for my sister to arrive and she happened to arrive at the moment a table next to me had cleared out. We then told them we were moving -not asked, because again, soft upholstery versus hardwood chairs?? No brainer. The original table I had asked, never had anyone sit on it, until after my sister and I moved when a larger party arrived. So, that was super weird. There were reserved signs on a lot of the tables (but not the table we asked for originally) which I found weird for the middle of the day in lunch hour. Regardless, the place did get pretty full by the time we were leaving. As I was walking in, I saw a cute outside seating in the front of the restaurant and on the side like in an alley. Through the alley there was an awful stench like sewer! I would feel bad if anyone would have been seated there. When I entered the first thing I noticed were the hanging pendants covered in dust and cobwebs. Everything else seemed clean. However, that smell I mentioned about in the alleyway with the seating was also in their bathroom, which was a bit of a turn off. Nonetheless, I stayed. I'm sure the dusting has been overlooked and the sewer thing might not be their fault entirely. However, a little air plug in, in the bathroom might help. Amazing food! This authentic place is in the corner of a strip mall, near the AMC Weston movie theater. It doesn't look like much from the outside. We went in and it wasn't busy yet, on a Sunday afternoon. Cute decorations, eclectic and interesting. The server sat us after a few minutes, as he was on the phone taking a Togo order, and immediately got our drink order. We ordered the Samosa Chaat as an appetizer. I honestly had no clue what it was. Wow! Veggies, chickpeas, in a mildly spicy sauce. Heavenly. Then we ordered Tikki Masala Chicken and Coconut Mango Curry Chicken. We ordered both mild since reviews here said mild is still spicy. NO KIDDING. HAHA. If you are a mild spice fan, this is not it. BUT both were fantastic. They came with perfectly done jasmine rice. And we ordered garlic naan. The smell alone was insane! Seriously good food!!!! The service was average. It did get pretty busy while we were there. I will absolutely go again. This place was great! We went for lunch and got chicken tikka masala. It came with a samosa (or soup), so it was my first time trying one. All of the food was really good. I also ordered garlic naan, I probably wouldn't have if I realized naan would come with my meal, but it was enjoyable nonetheless. I ended up bringing half of my food home. The restaurant is small and was surprisingly busy for a weekday afternoon, especially considering it's located in the corner of a sleepy strip mall. Once inside, the ambiance is nice. I don't know if I felt "transported to India" or anything, because I've never been to India, but it's simultaneously colorful and serenely classy. Let me start by saying the food was very good and the staff was great. However, I would not go back due to cleanliness issues. It is clear that the restaurant has not had a good cleaning in a while. The light fixtures were covered in dust, and the ledge on the wall next to us was the same. The bathroom had visible black mold on the baseboards. My first time eating Indian food and wow was it good! The hubby and I arrived Saturday night around 6:30pm, we didn't have a reservation but staff was able to accommodate us in a small corner table for two. Note to self, next time make a reservation. The restaurant was very busy both in the dining room and with take out orders. I took this to be a good sign and was excited to begin my dining adventure. Our server must have seen the lost look on our faces and asked if we needed help with the menu. After giving us some suggestions we decided on the Chicken Tikka Masala mild spice for me, Shrimp Vindaloo medium spice for hubby, garlic naan and cheese naan. Everything was so good. The chunks of chicken were tender and the masala sauce full of flavor. Mild spice was perfect for me. You can customize your spice level; mild, medium and hot. The hubby enjoyed his shrimp very much. I had a taste and the sauce had quite a kick. The naan was fresh out of the oven and perfect for dipping in the sauce. One order would have been sufficient for the two of us but it was hard to choose just one. And now we have left over to enjoy today.
