I was excited to try this place for both me and my partners' birthdays this week-- especially after seeing they had vegan items for me. Unfortunately, after we were seated, no one came to take our order. After over 15 minutes, we just decided to leave. When we left, there wasn't even anyone by the front anymore to ask what was wrong! Super disappointing; looking for another last minute birthday spot I guess!

Had a delicious late lunch here. Arrived 30 min before closing. Tried: green salad, mint chutney, pakora, saag paneer, butter chicken, vegetable basmati rice and some other tasty treats. I love the buffet because I can try a bit of some new dishes and also go back to my classic faves. The fresh naan brought to my table was straight out of the oven and delicious The service was kind and unassuming. There are almost no Indian lunch buffets open midweek so Palace is a treasure

I recently got this delivered from doordash as I was really craving Indian cuisine. I must say it arrived piping hot, which I appreciate because we know how mobile ordering sometimes arrives lukewarm. I got the Chicken Tikka Marsala(mild) but I must admit there was no spice at all in this dish. The chicken portions were also very minimal, the tin was filled mostly with sauce. This came with white rice, which paired well, and I ordered garlic naan on the side. The naan was amazing! My only complaint would be they only give you one. I really feel the food distribution may have been lunch sizing and not dinner. I would try this again, but I would sit in person so I can give it a fair chance for service and environment.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]walked into a very pleasant atmosphere, was greeted by the host at the door who in fact opened the door as soon as they saw us arriving.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were immediately given water and asked what drinks we would like. I ordered the tandoori paneer, and my husband ordered the tandoori chicken and the cheese naan which is a game changer! Delicious! The paneer was just amazing and i couldn't get enough of it and what a big portion. The spices were on point and there were large pieces of peppers and onions mixed in that gave it more flavors, you can taste the tandoori oven smoke. My husband's chicken tandoori was a very nice size and also the flavors were spectacular. Each dish was accompanied by a Dahl Makhani soup which was delicious and a nice touch. We definitely will be back. One side note, the very nice woman busser had her hair down and in-front of her face and when she was bringing waters and food to table and putting dishes on table she held the dishes high near the ends of her hair and when she bent forward her hair was touching the dishes. I advised the service staff and they corrected it. Hair should be tied back when working in any food establishment near food. But other than that this is our new go to place!

I recently had the chance to visit a cozy Indian spot near the Nova campus, and I'm honestly glad I did. It's the kind of place that makes you feel right at home with bold, comforting food flavors--and with a few thoughtful updates, it has the potential to become a go-to for the local student crowd. The food was definitely the highlight. I tried the Gobi Manchurian, and the cauliflower was perfectly crispy with that signature Indo-Chinese kick. The Chili Paneer had great flavor--tangy, spicy, and satisfying--though the paneer could've used a bit more crisp to match the texture of the gobi. Still, both dishes were super enjoyable and paired really well together. The Yellow Dal Soup was warm, simple, and soothing--exactly the kind of dish that hits the spot on a chill day. But the Mango Lassi? Absolute fire. Highly recommend! [[HIGHLIGHT]]As much as the food speaks for itself, I couldn't help but think the space could benefit from a bit of a vibe refresh. With Nova University just around the corner, updating the ambiance to something more modern or casual-chic could make a big difference in drawing in the younger crowd.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Think cozy lighting, fun music, maybe even a mural wall or Instagram-friendly corner. Also, introducing a few new, playful dishes or rotating specials--maybe street food-inspired plates or fusion bites--could add that "what's new this week?" energy. And while you're at it, student lunch deals or discounts would be a great move to bring in regulars from campus who are always on the lookout for affordable, flavorful meals! Bottom line: The owner and his son are SO personable and kind and make you feel right at home. Go here if you want a taste of good people with a bonus of great food :)

A little bit of India in Florida... Parking: easy! It is in a Winn-Dixie shopping center with ample parking Food: we got Dahl this time and didn't find it as great as other items we had previously. Their chicken tikka is to die for! Service: I didn't find the hostess to be warm and inviting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere/vibe: we have never dined in. We always do takeout. The restaurant looks authentically Indian and we would love to try dining there one day[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Age group: not sure Bathroom: didn't use it Return: yes

    Vegetarian Appetizer Platter

[[HIGHLIGHT]]From the staff to the ambiance to the food. Everything was exquisite.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Didn't realize it offered a buffet style restaurant as well as à la carte ordering. I stopped by for to go dishes like their appetizer platter, butter chicken and their chicken curry, and was welcomed to try other meals in the buffet line because their owner is simply the best. Thank you.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while and decided to order takeout after a heavy workout, so I was starved. They answer in person on the phone and took my order, and it was ready when we got there within 15 minutes. I didn't get to see the inside since I waited in the car while my friend picked it up. We got a butter, chicken, Palak paneer and lots of naan. The food was so delicious and flavorful, exactly the right amount of spice for each level, and lots of extra sauce for dipping our naan. So yummy. The butter chicken was especially creamy and lasted me for 2 meals. I will definitely be back!

Chick peas, lamb, and two kinds of chicken

I have not been to the Palace in many years. Went with a friend for the lunch buffet to give it another try. The dining area for the buffet is plain. (There is a fancier area on the other side with colorful tablecloths, but I'm not sure who is served there.) There were no samosas. And I forgot to ask why they were missing. The naan is not on the buffet but provided once you sit down to eat. The bean dish was a bit too mushy for me (almost pureed), the chana (chick pea) masala was good, and the lamb was a bit dry. The chicken dishes were the standout, with the butter chicken melting in my mouth. The tandoori came out after I had eaten, so I did not try it. My friend said it was good, but spicy. Both rice dishes were a bit undercooked. So, I sopped up my gravies with the naan. The two offerings for dessert were a fruit in a yogurt kind of mixture and a rice pudding. Both were good. But I liked the rice pudding better. I really missed not having some plain vegetable dishes (no beans) like cauliflower or carrots. There was a spinach dish; but it had cheese, and I am lactose intolerant. The buffet was $19.99 each. We had a buy 1 get 1 50% off coupon. So we paid $30 plus tax for two people. The servers were very nice and extremely attentive (refilling the water often).

Garlic naan, cheese kulcha, potato kulcha. Served nice and warm!

Perfect solo or bestie date location…read more I finally understand the hype behind this life changing butter chicken. I ordered mine medium spice, and it was honestly perfect , creamy, rich, buttery, with just the right amount of heat that built slowly without overpowering the flavor. Every bite had depth. The chicken was tender, the sauce was smooth and flavorful, and paired with the rice and butter naan? Elite combination. The chai was warm and comforting, and dessert closed everything out perfectly. This meal had me quiet at the table for a minute because I was really taking it all in. Easily one of the best food experiences I've ever had. And planning my next visit and who to invite lol

Since Maharaja seemed to be the only Indian place nearby, we figured they got their snacks there. The eatery offers indoor and outdoor dining. And the decor is eclectic and cool. We were the only ones in the restaurant for a while on a Sunday at lunchtime, but soon we were joined by other diners. And like the passengers in the car, they, too, were South Asian. To me, this was a great sign. Our server was extremely polite. And she asked several times if the food was good and if we needed anything. We also got complimentary Indian crackers before our meals. And were given free warm cheese balls for dessert. We ordered the goat korma and the lamb maharaja, both medium spicy, for our meals. The goat was tender but the korma sauce was creamier than expected and a bit sweet with actual bits of raisins. The lamb maharaja was spicier than a medium level. But oh so good with a great tomato sauce that offered a scintillating tingle to our tongues. It was definitely the standout entree. And everything came to the table piping hot, including the dessert cheese ball. We were disappointed with our order of naan. It was flat and tasteless. We've had better naan from a grocery store package. While the food definitely was very good, we thought the prices were a bit high. Our entrees were close to $30 each. And the portions were decent but not ample. Lunch for 2 with 2 entrees, an order of naan, tax, and tip, was $80.

The food was wonderful from start to finish, and the atmosphere made the experience even more special. There was something about the ambiance that took me right back to France, to those moments of breaking bread with my North African friends, surrounded by warmth, conversation, and the kind of hospitality that makes a place feel familiar the moment you walk in. I felt right at home. Fatima deserves special recognition. She was so kind to me and made me feel completely welcome. Her presence was gentle, warm, and sincere, and it elevated the entire experience. It honestly felt like I was being looked after at my Moroccan auntie's house. That kind of feeling cannot be faked, and it means a great deal. As for the food, it was amazing. The pastilla with chicken and almonds, dusted with sugar and cinnamon, was absolutely delicious, with that beautiful balance of savory richness and gentle sweetness that makes the dish so memorable. The msemmen was warm, comforting, and deeply satisfying. The merguez tajine was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The Moroccan harira had that soulful, nourishing quality that makes a great soup feel like part of the heart of the meal. The zaalouk was excellent as well, rich and flavorful and a perfect addition to everything else on the table. Dar Tajine gave us more than a meal.
