Grape Leaves

Al Natour is a Syrian restaurant located in Plantation. Inside is nice with lots of sitting tables. We came on Saturday for an early dinner. Our server was really nice. We ordered hummus, grape leaves, tabouli salad, fried kibbeh and falafel. The portions are big and the price is great, specifically for the price but I felt the food lacked flavor. The hummus and kibbeh were bland and the falafel had a strong cumin flavor that overpowered everything else. The salad and grape leaves were the only ones that tasted good.

Had an absolutely phenomenal time at Al Natour. Was one of the first restaurants we ate at after coming back from vacation and it did not disappoint. I was missing Lebanese food and this hit the spot. The customer service was amazing and the food felt like I was in Lebanon. They had this amazing appetizer sampler and meat platter as well that was so good that my family and I left so full with left overs to spare. Would definitely make the trip up from West Kendall to eat there again.

Al Natour is a staple in South Florida for Middle Eastern cuisine. I've been here countless times and each time the service and food has been fantastic. Authentic flavors and a wide range of options to choose from. It is true that prices have increased over the years, but you get a great amount of food, so in my opinion it's a good bang for your buck. We got the assortment of appetizers which came with hummus, baba ghanoush, falafel, and other items. The salad came with the appetizers and it was super fresh, everything had a good crunch. I got the sish kabob platter which came with a tremendous amount of yellow rice. The meat was seasoned and cooked well. Overall, no complaints during my time at Al Natour.

Al Natour is the real deal when it comes to middle eastern food and hospitality in south Florida. When was the last time you went to a restaurant and they brought to you table pickled vegetables, pita bread, spice, and delicious garlic sauce free of charge. Not only that but the prices are incredible! A falafel wrap with fries and a drink for $12 is just unheard of. The wait staff is incredibly kind and generous and the restaurant has that charm of a small mom and pop establishment with friends and family working to keep it all running well. This place is a must try if you're in the area and need to scratch your itch for delicious middle eastern food.

this place is such a hidden gem! it's a very spacious restaurant with tons of seating and natural lighting. they also have a case of pastries if you want to see what desserts they have. i ordered take out so i can't say much about the service but the staff were pretty friendly when i came in. i got their mixed grills platter which featured chicken, lamb, and chicken and lamb kabobs. the chicken was my favorite, it was so tender and juicy, it broke right off as i bit into it. the lamb was a bit disappointing for me. i usually like lamb better at middle eastern restaurants, but this one was a bit overcooked. i also felt underwhelmed by the kabobs as they tasted a bit underseasoned. i also got some kibbeh which was super delicious. the texture was perfect and it tasted even better with some lemon juice squeezed on top

Mediterranean restaurant offers authentic and flavorful Middle Eastern fare, including chicken shawarma, hummus, and kabobs. Portions are on the large side so don't order too many appetizers. Remember: no alcoholic beverages but other than that, this place is great. Small or large groups are more than welcomed here.

Located in a strip mall with free but busy parking. Not much flare when you get inside, quite a few tables. I don't think they take reservations. I'd say this is a casual spot. It seems very authentic. I felt the food hearty, yet my kafta was missing a bit of spice. I liked the spicy rice. The meal included a salad which was good and some pickles which I felt a little salty. I didn't love the pita. The bathroom could have used some love. Service was friendly, but a bit absent. Prices were decent given the portion. I can see why it seemed a lot of families came here.

We love this restaurant, but we are not coming back as frequently as before because the prices went up a lot , the prices in the Yelp menu are all wrong Almost everything in the menu went up , and I don't know why , because gas prices in florida went down , in June 2025 I put gas in sams club miami gasoline at 2.59 gallon , restaurant was half empty, and is because the prices , the salad was tasteless , please copy the salad of Olive Garden restaurant, waitress are very nice and food is good , but now I am eating in Jerusalem marked nearby , they have kibbe balls and good desert at a reasonable price , I write all this with sadness in my heart , I don't want to give you 2 or 3 stars because I don't want to lower your ratings , but I feel disappointed with management, do something, put fans on the ceiling and turn off the Air conditioning once in a while to save some electricity, but please don't raise prices

The complimentary pickled vegetables and pita was a nice touch. For food we decided on the Shishbarak, which is an interesting combination of meat dumplings, in a creamy yogurt sauce. The Shishbarak is a very hearty dish that has a cozy warm texture. The vegetarian sampler is mix of many of the traditional favorites. However, the standouts are definitely the grape-leaves, and the babbaganou Service was good but they only had one person that was working the register, waiting tables, and bussing food. They could definitely use extra wait staff during restaurant peak hours. Make sure you leave room for dessert! The desserts are delicious especially the baklava.

The food was wonderful from start to finish, and the atmosphere made the experience even more special. There was something about the ambiance that took me right back to France, to those moments of breaking bread with my North African friends, surrounded by warmth, conversation, and the kind of hospitality that makes a place feel familiar the moment you walk in. I felt right at home. Fatima deserves special recognition. She was so kind to me and made me feel completely welcome. Her presence was gentle, warm, and sincere, and it elevated the entire experience. It honestly felt like I was being looked after at my Moroccan auntie's house. That kind of feeling cannot be faked, and it means a great deal. As for the food, it was amazing. The pastilla with chicken and almonds, dusted with sugar and cinnamon, was absolutely delicious, with that beautiful balance of savory richness and gentle sweetness that makes the dish so memorable. The msemmen was warm, comforting, and deeply satisfying. The merguez tajine was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The Moroccan harira had that soulful, nourishing quality that makes a great soup feel like part of the heart of the meal. The zaalouk was excellent as well, rich and flavorful and a perfect addition to everything else on the table. Dar Tajine gave us more than a meal. It gave us an experience filled with warmth, flavor, generosity, and heart. The food was amazing, the hospitality was genuine, and Fatima made a lasting impression. I was also looking for a couple of specific things that I haven't been able to find since Caspian Grill closed. The store was pretty much what I expected. A few aisles of shelves stacked to the top with a variety of items. Let's face it. Middle East is a large area with many countries, each with its own unique spices and dishes, and so it is a huge undertaking to try and satisfy everyone, but for the most part, they succeeded. Given the people who were shopping there at the time, I would say that the authenticity of the store was greatly appreciated. I ended up not finding the Persian items I was looking for, but that's ok, instead I got a Turkish item. They also serve food at the store, which is nice because after walking along the aisles of food items, you start craving a Middle Eastern treat. I saw a vertically roasted meat and I knew what I wanted, but i didn't see a menu and when I was asked what I wanted, I wasn't sure if they were serving Gyro, Doner, or Shawarma, and not wanting to offend anyone, I asked for a meat wrap. It worked and I ended up with a Shawarma, which made the whole experience worthwhile.

It is not Indian, Lebanese, or Turkish, but something in-between. If you like to try different food and flavors, you must try it, and the best place to try authentic Iranian food is Kuluck.
