First time here and was treated like a queen! I'm writing this as i am receiving my service. I opted for the Luxury Spa pedicure choice ($50), which includes your basic pedicure along with a callus removal, leg and foot scrub, deep conditioning lotion on the legs (not sure but it was a paste-consistency material), paraffin wax applied to the feet, 15min massage, your choice of polish & design (I got French tip with roses on my big toes). my legs and feet look and feel great! I'm not from the area. I live near downtown Long Beach but come over to the area about 2-3 times a month and let me say that I'll be coming here for my pedicures now. Stopped by on a whim to kill some time and so glad I came across it. They have made a loyal client! I have been looking for a good nail salon since I moved to Riverside. I am so glad I found this place, it's clean, prices are reasonable, staff is friendly and the best part they do an amazing job on my nails. Im not the only person in my family that loves this place but my husband who was very skeptical about getting his pedicure loves this place too. Now, my husband and I get our nails done regularly. Very nice & clean salon :) When I fist walked in I was greeted by two ladies and I was helped immediately. Came in today needing a pedicure & full with a broken nail. The ladies who helped me were very friendly not very talkative but nice and understood what I wanted. I came to Tim Nails & Spa over the weekend, and I'm so glad I did! I'm also glad I called to make an appt before going in. They were very busy on a Sunday afternoon. There was not every chair in the waiting area was occupied. Which is fine because I had an appt so I knew (hopefully) I'd be waiting less time than the other ladies who were already there. I arrived about 5 min early and waited about 10. Kim gave me a mani/pedi with french tip and a couple of cute flowers on my toes. It wasn't perfect, but it was a hell of a lot better than I could do. And my whole appt only took an hour. All of the staff were polite and friendly. The prices were very reasonable and they had a larger color selection than any place I've ever been to. The only bad thing I have to say about it is that it was hard to find because I'm not from the area and it's in a strip mall that's under construction. That's not their fault and it's only temporary so it's definitely not a big deal. I found it relatively quickly (only passed it once). Highly recommend! read more

Today my fiancée went in for a pedicure and her nail fill & she is now in absolute pain because of the lady whom did her toes. She cut her 5 times, continuing to try to "fix it" my fiancée asked to speak to the manager, which never came, they sent another lady to try and "fix it" charged her for the half done pedicure. Needless to say we will not be back. Horrible customer service! The woman did not wear gloves until she was apply lotion and then saved the used glove for the next customer. Absolutely disgusting. read more

I had made an appointment to get a full set specifically with Tammy who's #4. I asked for yellow coffin shaped nails and medium length, that was not an issue because I did receive what I asked for. The problem was that after repeatedly saying NO gel she still up to the last minute asked if I wanted gel until I finally told her I would not be getting gel she finally comprehended and threw a "fit" I guess you could say. She slammed the drying machine onto one side of her desk and had a rude facial expression the rest of the time I was there and also gave me attitude after I accidentally messed up the nail polish from one of my nails and was still insisting it would have been better if I had gotten gel. I get it it's their job to ask if I want gel and to offer deals but this lady kept insisting time after time and for it being my first time going to her after hearing how amazing she did nails I'm disappointed and sadly won't be going back for more services. Hope this gets fixed as soon as possible and also hope I was the only one she was rude to because no one else deserves this. Unfortunately I was VERY disappointed in the quality of service I received. I used to go to a nail salon in Riverside for 15 years up until some recent changes that affected their quality, so I decided to check out a new place. After reading through numerous reviews and positive feedback, I decided to try Tim Nails. I called and scheduled an appointment to have my current acrylic set removed and to get a gel manicure. I was quoted a reasonable price and was crossing my fingers that this would be my new place going forward. I was under the assumption that my nails would be soaked off, but shame on me for assuming. The gentleman that helped me, took them off with nail clippers and did what I very well could have done at home. He then proceeded to tell me that he couldn't do a gel manicure because I needed to let my nails breathe. I had an event to attend that night, so I was very upset to find this out AFTER my nails were removed. I would have just got a fill and waited a few more weeks to remove them if I would have been aware. Which frustrates me that the woman who scheduled my appointment over the phone didn't inform me considering she knew what I wanted. I bit my tongue and settled for a basic manicure. Actually, it wasn't even a "manicure" because he refused to clean up my cuticles, didn't scrub with soap and water, and trimmed my nails shorter on one half of the nail than the other so they weren't even. When he painted my nails, he didn't go back to the cuticle or down all of the way on the sides, so it looked like they were done weeks prior. My 11 year old could have done a better job. I ended up coming home and painting my nails over myself, so I basically wasted my money. Needless to say I won't be returning to this nail salon. read more

Worst experience I've had here EVER! I used to come here all the time and today will be my last time. One of the girls was so rude that my nails aren't even dried I'm still here and had to write my review. She rushed my nails, bitched when I asked her to fix them, talked about me the whole time, threw my hands, when painting nails I took a sec to look at the color & she yells at me "give me your hands" I told her I was looking at the color hold on so she complained, asked her if she could cut my nails down said she couldn't. This place is the bomb.. This place close's at 7:30pm everyday except Sunday's they close @ 5:30pm. There service is excellent..I've been with this nail place for 3 years and I never go anywhere else. They have tons of colors and different style of nails. There prices are on point. I wouldn't go anywhere else. For Example, I'm here on a Thursday.. I starting going to Tim's Nails on the advice of a friend. I am very happy I did. May is who I use, and she is wonderful. The moment you walk in the door you are greeted with warm smiles and very friend workers. The shop is very clean and its very important to them to make sure everything is clean. Its not just a show that they are cleaning stuff. They CLEAN everything. Even the chair you sit in. I don't think I have ever seen that. May listens to what I want, and complies with my wishes. I like my nail to be very thin, and natural looking. Nothing Fancy or over the top. I am always very happy. My pedicure are always a bit tricky, I hate people touching my foot, but love the look of my toe's when they are done. So I get them done about once a month. I do like bright colors and flowers. The designs are always so cute. If you are looking for a great place to go. You need to check them out. DO not judge the book by the cover.
