Ive never been a person to go leave a bad review, but $75 for a pedicure is insane. I asked for #3 which is $45. The person that provided the service proceeded to charge an additional $15 for gel, $10 for French tip, & $5 to remove the previous nail polish which leaves me confused as to what is the initial $45 is actually paying for. read more

Wonderful experience! My daughter needed a manicure and had a photo of what she wanted. Thi responded to my call quickly and texted me photos of polish samples a couple of days before the appointment to make sure that my daughter liked the color. She was kind and attentive. I went in on Friday night as a walk in about 5pm and was told to return in 45 mins. I went to wash my car next door and returned 45 mins and was seen immediately. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she delivered! It was my first time at this salon and I'm glad I checked it out. I usually go to another salon that has more ppl working but I've noticed the work declining to get ppl in and out and my nails haven't been lasting. I posted pictures of my nails the day of and 10 days later and they still look great! I will definitely be coming back. There is only two ppl there working and their last call is 7pm as they close at 8pm so plan accordingly. For info I paid $80 plus tip. She gave me a receipt with the brake down which is nice some salons just pull numbers out the air and you have no idea what you're paying for. I've been coming to viet and Angie for more than a year now. And I'm really happy with every visit I've had. My usual visit would consist of a gel pedi, and a gel mani. I honestly don't come in super frequently due to the fact that the gel is great quality and lasts forever. I treated myself on the last visit to gel x. And truly, their prices are extremely fair for their work. Today I realized I needed a touch up on my nails (3 days before Christmas) and as per usual viet and Angie took care of me. Super last minute!! They're extremely attentive and truly display the definition of great customer satisfaction. For the life of me I don't understand why people claim to have bad experiences but instead of contacting a business to let them make it right, they take to the internet to try and slam their reputation. This potentially really hurts small businesses. Hopefully we as humans can do better. Viet and Angie are amazing. I wrote the review to let others knows about my experience here. Your response shows, without a doubt, how rude and unhelpful your team can be when treating customers. There have been plenty of other reviews on your page to show "crooked nails," "sloppy jobs," and "rushed services." I don't think it's uncalled for then, for me to say that my experience was also below expectation. In the future, I hope you're able to take into consideration the feedback of your customers that have had bad experiences (since it doesn't seem like you'll take mine). ** I highly do not recommend going to this place. It was a very terrible experience for me. I came here with an appointment at 5pm and they were completely empty inside - just 2 nail technicians. I asked for a gel pedicure and to soak off the gel-x nails (done at another salon). I was quoted $45 for my gel pedicure ($35 + $10 for gel) and $10 for my removal of gel-x nails. PEDICURE - My nail technician was very nice and made great conversation since I just moved here to Riverside. He recommended a callus remover and honey scrub at an additional price ($8). He then proceeded to add an additional $10 for my french tips without telling me. My pedicure ended up being $63 total - not even 24 hours later, my gel has peeled right off of my pinky toes. SOAK OFF - My nail technician cut off my nails and filed them down, and told me I have to sit and soak them off in a bowl. She said it would be $10 total. She came to check on me every 30 minutes and came by with toilet paper to wipe off the gel that was soaking off. She didn't do any additional filing and left my nails looking like the picture - crusty as heck and gel still stuck on all my cuticles. I then told her that I'm not getting a manicure or any additional services and she changed the price of my soak off to $20 - Just to sit for an hour with my hands in a bowl of acetone. My services came out to $85 and I left unhappy, and even more disappointed the following day when my gel peeled off. Do not come here! read more

I generally like their work, they are very friendly and have good customer service. Where they lack is in the amount of people working in the salon, meaning it is only 2 of them working at all times. This leads to long wait times and rushed work. I have noticed that my mani and pedis do not last as long perhaps due to them rushing to get to everyone waiting in line. I have also been cut because they are rushing but tolerate it because they are genuinely kind people. As far as quality and quickness, I would suggest hiring more people to help with the demand. I will be driving further out and paying more to get services just for this reason. read more

I was a bit nervous to go here since it was a random try. I was looking for a place I could get a design done. I normally go to the mall and a lot of times get someone who is not so willing to do designs and would rather just paint my nails. I also tend to have a lot of problems with the nail technicians hurting me or cutting me. When I got my nails done the nail technician was amazing! She explain to me why getting my nails done was so painful and that I have thin nails. She suggested I try gel nails which are easier to remove. She took time to carefully file my nails so that it wouldn't hurt! She took time to care if she was hurting me and make sure that I was comfortable! I am very thankful for her advice and suggestions.
