The old man who "does" nails needs to quit. He literally injured 3 of my fingers with his electronic tools. My fingers have been in pain and are bleeding. On top of that he would answer the phone every time it rang which there were 3 other techs. When a walk in came in he would also stop and talk with them. It's like dude you need to have more people for a Sunday. He is not talented and you could tell he has not been doing this long and if he has then that's embarrassing. I go a fill and gel with a French tip with chrome and it was $51. This is by the far the worse nail salon I have ever been to. I am beyond unsatisfied that I can't even put my hair up or wash dishes without my fingers hurting and bleeding. Sir please retire because you really out here making peoples finger hurt and ugly. I got a toenail infection the last time I went there and I had just asked for a gel pedicure. Since that unsanitary incident, I haven't been able to get a pedicure from elsewhere. After this specific incident, I've decided to no longer be a client. I had to go to my Dr. to be prescribed some toenail fungus medication and ointment. I guess "you live, and you learn." I've been coming for years as a loyal customer following Tiffany to several shops she has bounced around in! I always respect their appointment time. I'm always on time as I expect them to respect my time. Never had issues maybe I have had to wait a few minutes, but never more than that. This location is ran under new management again. I'm compelled to write this review because I'm feeling upset, and I have a great following on yelp for being truthful! Loyalty and respect goes a long way shop owners have lost all credibility when you treat your customers not only regular but loyal like myself with respect. I called to set an appointment on a specific time he repeated it. I repeated it because I had appointment elsewhere so I wanted to make sure I left with enough time, I arrived to the shop with three minutes to spare I sat I said who I was there for I was acknowledged. I sat 15 + minutes passed I actually asked "hoe much longer " as this is not usual .. Tiffany is a rude and arrogant tone said you were 15 minutes late with no notice so I took another client" I was first shocked bcuz I've never been spoken to like this she knows me for years .. I told her " I'm sorry but I told this man here 2:45 and I was on time" they proceeded to speak in their language everyone in the shop speaking Vietnamese I have no idea what they're saying. It really made me feel super awkward. The man came up and said well I'm sorry I didn't have your phone number to call you " I got up and left . I've never been treated this way specialy when I'm a nice loyal customer!! Everyone is super nice, I've had Mindy do my nails once and I loved it, my nails came out exactly how I wanted them to, and we had a great conversation! Today, I went in for a pedicure and a fill and the man doing my pedicure did a great job, he took his time, and was very gentle. Visiting from out of town, I had regular polish on but caught a couple nails on my suit case and being my natural nails (weak), they split. Walked in Saturday late afternoon, I figured they might be closed but nope - the ladies welcomed me in and immediately asked how they could help. The gal (didn't take the name), removed my polish, did a great manicure, painted on the gel polish quickly and clean and to top it off, had a great hand and forearm massage (about 4-5 mins each). For my first time getting acrylics... this sucked. I'm not sure what they used to apply the acrylics but when i soaked them in acetone they were gummy and slimy. I've taken off other people's nails and it wasn't like that I was able to scrape the excess off pretty easily and the nails weren't RUINED after. I wish i could give this place 0 stars. This was probably the worst experience I ever had getting my nails done... the man working on my nails clearly didn't understand English (this wasn't my issue, but if u can't understand what a customer wants it's best to ask someone to help translate.) this wasn't where my issue was The man asked me what shape I wanted where I clearly said tapered square (I even told him narrow in case he didn't know what tapered was) and one stilletto nail. He then proceeded to give me the widest square nails I ever seen in my life and didn't even cut or shape the nails before putting on the acrylic (as you can see In the picture) I expressed concerns saying the powder was too thick and I wanted at least my thumbs to be thinner and asked him to Trim the sides. He then yelled at me saying I should've told him I wanted the shape earlier When I clearly told him at the beginning. He then tried to cut the nail into a coffin shape where I stopped him and asked him nicely to just make it thinner on the sides. He got frustrated and almost cut all the nails off which I wish he would've bc I would rather leave with no nails rather than these blocks on my finger. I asked him to shape the nails and he said he would do it after and kept dismissing my requests. HE NEVER DID IT AFTER. I ALSO asked him to please cover the whole nail with the acrylic and the polish and he goes "I'm going to shape it at the end so it doesn't need to be covered. Clearly hasn't gone to get his cosmetology license and I'm Making a call to get this place inspected bc they can really cause some harm here with their lack of basic knowledge. Also they only have clear powder... I asked for white and he got upset looking around the whole salon to come back with an old white glitter powder Where he said he only had that. How do u not have white powder in a nail salon?????? He was also being very rude and yelling in frustration to the other workers which made it very obvious he was talking shit. Worst experience ever, this place really went downhill here's a photo reference for the bricks they let me leave the salon with and pay $53 for these ugly nails ew. I'm not sure what's happened over quarantine but I just went back to this nail salon for the first time in over a year and the man who sits up front messed up my nails so bad!!!!! He does not know how to do acrylics and he also does not know how to remove acrylics. He literally ripped off a chunk of my pinky nail and was blaming it on me!!! His hands were SHAKING from the very beginning which was causing him to make a lot of mistake. He worked on my nails for two hours and he was shaking the whole time blaming me for picking white powder? If he doesn't know how to do the nails I'm requesting he should say so. It was honestly the worst experience I've ever had. He DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO DO NAILS. I had to stop him and told him that was enough!!!!! Then he said I picked the wrong type of powder? I told him NO SIR your hands are shaking very badly and I tried to have patience with you but it's clear you do not know what you are doing. It was hard to grasp a feeling because most employees don't speak English. On my last visit I made a special request (ingrown nail care), the employee told me that she didn't do that. They do occasionally have their kids in the salon but they generally stay out of the way and don't bother anyone. I called about an hour before hand and they said to come in at 4:30. Once I got there I was seated right away and the work began. Immediately after I was seated, 2 ladies come in who already had an appointment booked. They had to wait 30 minutes before they were taken. During that time I felt like everyone was rushing, not taking their time on their existing clients they were working on and took in more than they could handle.
