I asked for almond shape nails the lady that was going to work on my nails looked lost like she didn't know what almond shape that was. She glued on the nails and started filing them and it was a disaster she left the nails crooked & different shapes & sizes so before she put the powder I asked if there was anyone in there that knew what almond shape was she said she would try to put powder on one nail & try to fix it herself. After putting the powder on that one nail she gave up and had me wait for an hour for somebody else to fix the shape. No one helped me even though there was another lady just sitting there.I asked them if they can just remove the glued on nails and I was told to just wait they said this can be fixed and did not want to remove the nails. I waited another 40 minutes just to get ignored I got tired of waiting so I walked out and had to remove the nails myself at home. read more

Today I received the worst service ever at Skyller Nails. I've been coming here for the last few years . I know things are different now due to covid. I've continued to support Skyller Nails at the time. But after today I will not be returning back. I paid $44 for a spa pedicure . Supposed to include a 5 min massage and callus remover . I didn't receive either of those but the girl performing the services thought she did them . Sorry but $44 for a pedicure I better be getting the royal treatment. Very disappointed read more

I wanted to leave a really nice review but unfortunately my cuticles REQUIRE no MANDATED no FORCED me to write this review. I'm so disappointed because for one the service I got was a fill and I had a few nails lifting so she stated she would replace them. She replaced one and used a white nail instead of a clear one which I didn't notice until leaving when most of my nails were clear with light pink translucent natural color and my right pointer finger was dark pink. Also I was cut on two different fingers two different hands and I have scabs to prove it and pain in both fingers at the cuticles. read more

Sooo I thought I found my nail salon. Guess I'm wrong. My buddy and I came in one Thursday at 11am. Both her and i have been coming here on our own time, this time we agree to have a girl date for a mani pedi. When we came in it was slightly busy, so we waiting for about 15 min and got a seat. We started at different times and wanted the same polish color. Since we sat next to each other, it would make sense to just alternate the polish, right? It would not delay one technician or anything, since I got a french pedi and both of us wanted the same color for our mani, my buddy wanted the same color for mani and pedi. Her tech insisted on a duplicate color (different brand), and we attempted to explain an efficient process where we can alternate it. This way it would not delay their work. My tech was whateves with it, my buddy's tech was annoyed. Then they started talking crap in their language (mind you I understand what they are saying). Thennnn my lady made an error on the colors AND blamed me to her friends in her native language (since she misunderstood my request I made from the start). Her colleague corrected her saying she was wrong and I was right in their language, this is about minor things like color selection. Sighhhh too much passive aggressive sass. Needless to say I won't be a back - there's plenty of competitive nail salons in proximity. read more

I came here Bc one of my friends recommended me to. I had been looking for a new nail salon and figured I'd give it a try. I saw the pictures and decided I'd make an appointment with Evelyn. I called and they took me same day within 30 min. Winning! The place is in a nice shooing center area, close to la sierra university. My first impression was it's nice. Your typical nail salon. The gentleman greeted me and directed me to my pedi chair since I decided to get a pedi too. Evelyn was busy with another guest so I might as well . The guy who did my pedi was Han. He was so nice and took excellent care of my feet. Considering I was completely embarrassed I forgot to shave my legs! He was the real MVP here lol . About half way Evelyn came and started my full set. She asked the essential questions, how long, what shape and color. There wasn't much taking after that and I'm ok with that Bc I was literally falling asleep I was exhausted! She did an amazing job on my full set. I paid 40$ for full set (20) gel (10) shape ( coffin 5) and design (5) Basic pedi was 16 plus 5 for callus removal. Total 61.95 They charge you 95 cents for cc. Plus a 10 dollar tip. 71 bucks. I didn't get her name but she's kind of chubby and wears glasses. She was extremely rough during the process of giving me a fill and was just careless. While filing my nails it felt like the whole thing was gonna come off. On to the color selection. One of the colors I chose didn't look like what it appeared in their booklet so I chose a different one. In Vietnamese she was saying that I'm like kind of crazy or not there since I thought the color looked gold but it turned more brown which was why I changed it. She then started talking shit in Vietnamese again as if it was such a drag while walking back to get my color. I DON'T THINK SHE REALIZES THAT I'M FUCKING VIETNAMESE. I UNDERSTOOD EVERYTHING SHE SAID. Now onto the most exciting part of my one star review. While trimming my cuticles, she cut into my skin and I started bleeding. You know what she did to try to make it stop? Apply some glue they used to apply your tips. Like wtf? I'm just so angry at this point that some lady who already gave off a horrible first impression by talking shit on every customer and then ends up cutting into my cuticle. This review is based only on the fact that they don't open on time! I drove up at 9:34. I assumed they would be open since they are supposed to open at 9:30. If you look at the pic, it's almost 9:50 and they still aren't open and there is even an employee waiting outside. (She arrived around 9:40) I sat there another 5 minutes after taking this pic and finally took off. Another customer walked up and had to wait outside with the employee since the doors were not open. Got a gel manicure done by Lily. She was great. Paid very close attention and didn't cut me when doing my cuticles. I have had people cut me a lot before. It was a great first experience. She wasn't upset when I asked for two layers of top coat either. I type a lot for work and need that second layer. The place was full of customers. At least 10 people working doing manicures and pedicures. It is also a very clean place. I highly recommend it. *UPDATE* The manicure didn't even last two weeks. read more

Came into this location today after reading great reviews on Yelp. First of all, as soon as my friend and I walked in, we did not get that inviting and friendly feel. There was a guy at the front desk who was getting his nails cut by the older lady there which I thought was a little gross. They both just stared at us while we shyly told them what we wanted done. They were not straight out rude but they weren't friendly either. We were sat fairly quick and got pedicures, and manicures. The ladies doing the work were just ok, they didn't really speak English, or they just made no effort to try and speak to us. The lady doing my friends pedicure hurt her toe, didn't say anything about it, and kept going. Also the lady doing my pedicure didn't really put any effort into scrubbing like they usually do in other nail salons. My full set was okay as well nothing to complain about but it wasn't great either This place is just okay, nothing great. Don't think I will make an effort to return to this location. read more
