This place is truly unbelievable! I found it about 3 weeks ago and have eaten there 9 times since! I won't be happy till I try everything on the menu. IVE LOVED EVERYTHING IVE TRIED! The vegan chili is out of this world epic! The atmosphere is so warm and staff was calling me by name by my 3rd visit. Friendly and warm clean energy! I'll add pics as I go, I don't normally do reviews or think to take photos, but Thrive has been inspiring!

Coconut Crepes and Pure Bliss

I love Thrive! It's my favorite place to grab food in Boulder. And it's the only raw food restaurant in the area. They have everything from smoothies to sandwiches. They even have crepes (check out the photos I added). I love everything I've tried, but the bacun burger is definitely my favorite. My favorite smoothie is Pure Bliss. Not only does it taste good and chocolatey, but it makes me feel zen. I love all of the crystals and the whole vibe in the restaurant. I usually order ahead and take to go. A few times I've eaten at the restaurant and really enjoyed hanging out in there. It's nice to have a living foods restaurant so centrally located in boulder. They food taste amazing and I love knowing the amazing health benefits I'm getting from eating it. The owners are really cool people too. Even if you've never eater raw before, go on a culinary adventure and check this place out.

Great healthy vegan spot! I got the Pad Thai Salad and my husband got a smoothie and the BLT Wrap. We loved it all! This place has a cool atmosphere as well. The only thing is that the service was pretty slow for just a few people in there. It took about 25 minutes for my food which seemed like a long time for raw meals.

Badass vegan food. So nutrient dense. I feel like I'm doing amazing things for my body every time I stop in this place. The vibe is awesome, great menu, smoothies are to die for--not overly sugary, which is how they should be. If you're veg and in the area, you'd be doing yourself a huge injustice not to check this spot out.

Delicious salad, sandwich, and smoothie outdoors and very distanced from other customers. The staff was very nice and service was fast. The food was very flavorful and delicious - I'd definitely return!

OMGOODNESS was this salad Devine!! When my husband first pulled up the address in our scavenger hunt picnic in Boulder he was like..wait a vegan restaurant? I asked him to trust the process that Boulder is known for having small businesses with great food. While all we had was a salad, every bite was filled with healthy flavors. Loved how well the dressing was mixed in and the avocado on the top added that extra fat flavor to finish off the meal. Those croutons...finger smacking good! Not going to lie this isn't my normal joint I would think of going to but I'm glad we came across it. I definitely want that salad again!

What an absolutely delightful place! Everything there felt so full of nourishing energy and high quality ingredients. My friend and I had the Ginjah Bere (ginger beer) and it was sooooo good. I ended up buying a bunch of drinks to bring home - they have convenient to-go bottles too. The food and smoothies looked incredible and I'm stoked to check those out next time! Their chocolate "medicine" truffles were filled with amazing healing herbs. Sooo impressed with this place. I wish there were more spots that took energy and nutrition as far as them! Plus, I loved the crystals and tarot cards all over. Also, the staff was super nice and more than helpful with all our questions for pairings and food sensitivities. They were so kind and had great energy!

The place is dirty. The food is bad. Soup came severely oversaulted and tasted anything but mushroom. Do not recommend.

But I love fresh squeezed fruit and vegetables juices especially when I can choose a normal table size option, 12 ounces or less and especially if they graciously customize. This is the place. They even have at least 3 different menu designed options that meet my requirements that are actually interesting, and include things like beets, which I love and are not heavily dependent on standbys such orange/carrot bases, though I do love some carrot included. Yes the place is pretty crowded whenever I've been there. It's walkable from CU and Boulder High so that is not surprising. The staff has always been nice and pretty realistic on how long it might take. Yes, I have had to leave my order and return 10-20 minutes later on a busy Saturday afternoon on a CU game day but that's to be expected. There's lots of browsing nearby or you can do what one smart customer in front of me did and plan ahead, use the app and arrive to your order packed and waiting in a nice big bag. Tastes good and feels healthy.

Although when it came my order she ignored me and was what felt discriminating and aggressive against (colored gay person) even though she didn't seem to have an issue with the white man behind me. (which is the reason why she even serviced me to begin with) because the person I introduced the store to was attended by the young man and I was serviced by the girl I am very disappointed as i've been attending to this establishment since it opened!!!! Personally I love this store so much and I like to take people there since the owners are very friendly and welcoming but i never want to experience this again or have anyone else feel uncomfortable!!!!!

We tried a lot of things on the menu and liked each dish. But our absolute favorites were the kimchi sweet potato fries (this was a crowd favorite dish and we're still dreaming about it), ginger chili potstickers (so good!), and the hot fudge cake with ice cream for dessert (melt in your mouth warm chocolate cake with ice cream, it was 10 out of 10). We also enjoyed the butternut penne, everything crunch salad, and butternut squash arancini which were all delicious. Also, the bread deserves its own shout out - very soft and warm, and still rich in flavor. Easily the best bread I've had in a long time. Service was great with a friendly and attentive staff. Ambiance was warm, inviting, cozy and sophisticated. Would definitely recommend stopping here to anyone!!

I've been here many times in a variety of ways--sat at the bar, at tables with friends and by myself, both inside and outside, and even experienced the large farm table prix fixe menu, which was fantastic. My experiences have consistently been great--the food, service, and atmosphere have always been top-notch. Tonight, however, was my first disappointing visit. I ordered the root vegetable bruschetta, which was very good. I also ordered the butternut squash penne pasta, a dish I've had before and really enjoyed. Unfortunately, this time it was extremely spicy. I'm not sure if the recipe has changed or if it was just a heavy hand in the kitchen, but it was not something I could eat. I mentioned it to the waiter, who didn't have an answer, so I simply asked for a to-go container. Since I couldn't eat it, I later gave the container to a homeless woman sitting nearby with her grocery cart. On my way out, I spoke with someone at the door who brought over the manager. The manager asked if he could see the dish, so I opened the container for him. He then asked if he could taste it and reached in, picked up a noodle, and tried it, saying he didn't notice anything unusual. He also wasn't aware of any changes to the recipe. I suggested that if the dish is now spicy, it might be helpful to note that on the menu so guests know what to expect. What left me disappointed wasn't just the dish itself, but how the situation was handled. There wasn't an offer to replace the meal or provide an alternative, which would have gone a long way. As someone who is only about six months into living in Colorado and a new business owner in the area, I often refer places I believe in. Tonight left me questioning whether I will continue to recommend Leaf based on how this was handled, though I'm hopeful that by tomorrow morning I may feel differently. That said, based on my many past positive experiences, I still believe Leaf is a great restaurant. I just hope this was an off night and that a little more attention is given to both consistency in the kitchen and how concerns are handled moving forward.

Some items are now where they should as have been, like peanut butter is now next to jam and jelly jars rather than applesauce and baby disposable diapers! Who ever thought up that choice? But now all the chicken is in sealed packages rather than the fresh case. The staff has offered to open a package to sell only a smaller amount but I wonder how likely they will have time for this? A loss for me as I only buy for two people most of the time. Another change is that the olive bar is stand alone and no longer dished out into containers to grab and go. Much more chance of contamination from a different item from another bin. I still prefer this store for many things though both of the smaller Whole Foods location have a usefulness too. The previous in store location of Birdcall is now gone the the free standing location at Twenty Ninth Street Mall is still open and has seating a parking better than when it served here. It's nice to see staff members still working here for 20 years but also nice that some turnover happens for new energy too. When the remodel is done I will be back with pictures and an evaluation from a shopper's point of view.

It was packed with exciting products some of which were 3rd party certified to be organic. Tried some lovely skin oils (they smelled so good), and perused their clothing, methylene blue drops, sea moss gummies and organ meat jerky. The place was popping and the line was never less than 6 people long the entire time I was there. Menu was varied and offered lots of yummy fresh and nutritious offerings. Had a really yummy juice called Glow (Apple, carrot, turmeric, ginger, lemon, aloe vera) that I shared with a friend. As the items are made fresh on demand it does take some time to receive your item. The other patrons today tended not to pick up after themselves and were not very courteous or self aware. It is parent's weekend for CU so what I encountered may be a one off. Will definitely be back to try more menu items.
