Food was mediocre. I was disappointed by the egg roll. I asked if it was a large or small. The lady said it was large however it was the size of a spring roll and barely had anything in it. It was supposed to be chicken egg roll. It was mostly egg roll wrap. It was very tough and chewy. Orange chicken was crispy, hot and tender. Three Yuan Join is hands down one of the best Chinese spots in the DFW metroplex. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a hello and a smile. We ordered the orange chicken with fried rice and the beef lo mein, and both dishes were nothing short of amazing. The orange chicken was perfectly crispy with a tangy-sweet sauce that wasn't overpowering. The fried rice was flavorful, with each grain cooked to perfection. The beef lo mein was equally impressive--tender beef, fresh vegetables, and noodles with just the right amount of chew. The service was quick and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. It was good enough. I had the pepper chicken and my son had Mongolian beef. No ambience inside. Looks like their main business is takeout. Prices have gone up from those posted. Most meals in the $9.99 to $12.99 range. Egg rolls were separate. Canned drinks only. I really prefer fountain self serve! Total bill was $31 bucks. Food quality was very decent overall. The food was good EXCEPT they shortchanged me: I ordered Sesame Chicken and they gave me chicken with NO Sesame seeds......Not what I ordered. I asked for two packages of Sweet Sauce and one Pckage of Hot Mustard and only got one package of Hot Mustard. They are Pennywise for scrimping to save money by not giving me what I ordered and Pound Foolish for all the pounds I could have eaten as a regular customer if they had only given me what I ordered. If I could rate this place a 0, I absolutely would. They have the worst Chinese food I have ever had. I previously ordered some orange chicken with steamed rice and an egg roll. The steamed rice and egg roll smacked; it was so good. On the other hand, their orange chicken was not good. The sauce tasted odd that day but I thought it was me not liking it so much, so I continued to eat it. I took a bite of my food and I felt something hard grind my teeth. I took out what looked like a little seed, but once I inspected it further, it was a rock. There were tiny rocks all over my orange chicken. I immediately felt sick to my stomach. I called them and explained what I had found in my food and they tried to dismiss what I was saying. They did not offer me a refund, but instead offered me credit for a meal. Why would anyone in their right minds go back and eat food that had literal rocks. At first this place was decent, but it has gone downhill. read more

Friendly, prompt service. Very clean dining and restrooms. Limited dine in seating. I ordered jalapeño shrimp and a coke. $18 (including a $3 tip) Shrimp was cooked well, sauce had way too much oil. I have no idea how this place has a high yelp rating, maybe I gave it a try on an off day. The chicken was low quality, greasy, and not flavorful at all. The stemmed rice was over cooked and you could tell it wasn't freshly cooked. The inside looks like it's been ran down for years and not clean. Fried Cheese Wonton taste like cream cheese in a wonton. Sweet and sour sauce it came with taste like soap. Only thing decent was the General TSO, this actually had flavor. If I could give it a zero I would, we tried this off the recommendation of a friend and we are thoroughly disappointed. Can't say enough about this place. Everything is done perfectly. Portions are extremely generous. Definately a hidden gem in Mesquite. Ordered the spicy beef with jalapeños and noodles. Perfect and their noodles are the best in town, probably the DFW area. Always a good take out option in the Winter, as it's so warm. But don't just let it be just in winter time. Very disappointing: fried rice with no egg / veggies, overcooked dry orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp absolutely disgusting with 0 walnuts. It was actually inedible the sauce was so bad. Don't even serve filtered water just tap water. Will not return, don't trust the reviews. Panda Express is better and cheaper. read more
