My wife and I enjoy eating sushi once in a while. We've visited a few places around the Dallas area, some of which are very good. We decided to give Thai Square a chance, and it didn't disappoint. We did find the sushi rolls a bit expensive, but their buy 2, get 1 for $3 offer kinda balances it out. One day, we came back to try some other items on their menu. The Shrimp Fried Rice and Pad See Eew caught our attention. And boy, were we in for a special treat. Both were amazing! They also included a choice of soup. We tried both soups and were pleasantly surprised. The meals came with steamed rice, which we upgraded to fried rice. Then I noticed two lobster dishes on the menu. One was the Surf and Turf: lobster tail with filet mignon, garlic butter, and brown sauce. The other was the King of the Sea, with lobster tail, salmon, shrimp, and scallops in curry sauce. Both included a choice of soup and steamed rice, and both were fantastic. At $35 each (it's 2026!), I thought they were a pretty good deal, especially considering everything that came with them. I think we've found one of our favorite Thai/Sushi places in the Forney/Dallas area. We'll definitely keep coming back and navigating our way through the menu, hunting for more surprises. read more

This was so good! I ordered a pick up after work on a Friday night. I got a chicken pancake that came with curry sauce for dipping, dumpling miso soup, the Narturo roll and Butterfly Kiss roll. Well when eating our sushi we had tuna when we lifted it up and saw red dye on the rice it was weird. We found out the they use a low grade tuna and dye it darker red to make you think differently. read more

We went to this spot before closing time and were serviced super quick and the food was delicious! I used my Yelp checkin for the Indian pancake and it was so good with the dip it came with. It was kind of a mix between naan bread and a tortilla. The salad that came with my food was ok, but my friend was not a fan of the. I omit chicken soup. She said it lacked flavor. I ordered the AAC roll which is vegan and it was delicious. I also got the Panama vegetable curry with fried rice. It was so good! My friend got the steak fried rice and the shrimp tempura roll. We were not impressed with the sushi, maybe we ordered the wrong things, but the tuna in the King Tuna was a weird red color (not normal red). The Ninja Roll texture was too much for my liking. The tempura frying overcooked my salmon in the roll and made everything mushy. I did enjoy the jalapeño in the yellowtail. I used my checkin for a free Indian pancake and the curry sauce I could drink, but the pancake was not the best texture. The ambience was very dark. Had spot lights pointing to each table. Why the low stars- we never got our to go order. My husband and I planned on eating an appetizer after work and then going home to enjoy the rest of our Friday evening. After we finished, my husband asked for the check and the to go order. We were only given the check, so we paid and waited. She never came back with our to go food. We sat for our to go entrées while I finished my wine, but then realized it wasn't coming. We left. You're wondering- if we already paid then why did we leave? My husband (an accountant) noticed our bill was cheaper than we expected. We checked the receipt and saw we weren't charged for the to go, so we left. The server who waited on us waived us goodbye as we exited. The food is delicious so we will definitely order again! Just not to dine in. The Seafood soup was AWESOME and Pad Thai was so bad that I don't even know if the person who made it should even be allowed in Thai food establishment. We just moved into the area and we were starving and this place did not disappoint. The ambiance is nice, I like the little spotlight they shine over your table that accentuates the food. We went here on the weekday during lunch time and it was not busy and was a walk in. The prices were very decent as it can vary from $10 to $15 dollar per special. My wife ordered the steak and I ordered the chicken cutlet katsu. Overall, not bad as you get California rolls, salad, rice, dumpling soup and goza. One of the best things about the place is the mellow, calming atmosphere it offers when I come for lunch, music is always a classic jam, the lighting is intimate and comforting since it's an open restaurant. All the appetizers are good: rock shrimp, edamame, gyoza.
