We loved the sushi from there. The rice was so nice and perfect for the sushi. The actual sushi meat and fillings melts in your mouth. Definitely would eat there again. The only problem with the service is that it takes longer than normal, it takes a while before you get your stuff but if you're patient you'll be fine. The restaurant is small and dark and cozy looking. It's not a bad place we enjoyed it. read more

We don't live close so eating here is rare. Over the past 5 years we've enjoyed Thai Square Sushi 3-4 times. It's has always been fresh and delicious. Green salad is cold and crisp as it should be with a tasty ginger dressing. Edamame was fresh. Not dry or mushy. Just right and hot when it arrived. I had red curry with chicken for the first time. Made with coconut milk, it's a little sweet, but still really good. Chicken was a tad dry, but not bad. Service was prompt and pleasant with just enough attention to keep water glasses filled etc. We will be back. Just wish we lived closer to visit more often. read more

Order the 3 roll special for lunch. The sushi was warm. One of the three rolls was the Shrimp Tempura roll i got three pieces. was supposed to be 8. The second roll was the spicy salmon roll the texture was awful and the salmon was warm also nothing else in it besides salmon. It also did not have the sauce it was supposed to have. I'm a local and have been coming here for 3 years now. Mostly to-go orders. My staples are chicken pad Thai, extra spicy, no peanuts (chefs kiss) and the yummy roll and sunny roll. The service was very superb; all the waitresses were very nice and attentive. Along with that the food was also very good, they also have a large variety of Asian cuisine to choose from. One thing I noticed which I found funny was that the sign above the sushi bar area reads "愛してる" or "aishiteru" which means "I love you", although the English translation they put above the Japanese was aishitemasu, which is the formal way to say it and it doesn't reflect the actual writing on the board, it doesn't really matter but it's a small detail one might miss if they don't speak any Japanese read more

The food was delicious but the service was terrible. My son first request after being away from home for 6 months was sushi. So there was real money to be made this day. The kids ate so much of the sushi(again top notch) that my wife and I hardly had anything to eat. Since the service was so slow we decided to leave instead of ordering more food for ourselves. We left hungry with a 3 hour drive ahead of us to get back home. So we stopped at sonic for $30 after spending well over $120 at a quality sushi restaurant. Would have been an easy $400 not including tip, but they gave a new guy with nobody training him. He had only been there a week. Thursday evening a few weeks ago we were craving Chinese from a local establishment. Unfortunately, their wait time for TAKEOUT was one hour, so we had to decide on something else, and quickly because we were starving. I raced through Yelp in a blur looking through all the other tired options, until I saw Thai Square Sushi. I had never seen it before, but after I skimmed through the pics I knew I wanted to check it out. To our surprise the restaurant was very nice, not just a casual Asian takeout restaurant. The menu was interesting with several unique options and a wide variety of sushi. We started with edamame and the BBQ duck steamed buns. Edamame is simple enough, but all the other place must be doing it wrong because it was better here than all the others! The steamed buns were a delicious option as well. Between us we ordered the Sakura Shrimp and the hibachi ribeye steak, both accompanied with miso soup and steamed white rice, which were great. The two entrees were made with such care and precision. The proteins were cooked perfectly and the veggies were perfectly cooked and still crisp, no soggy veggies. Because they were so fresh the flavor they had was fantastic. The Sakura Shrimp had a spicy and sweet sauce that was delicious, especially with the white steamed rice. The ribeye (served in cubes) was my favorite. The outside of the steak was charred beautifully while keeping the inside at medium done. Super flavorful and something I would definitely come back for. read more

Amazing flavors and combos. Try the Rock Shrimp and Sumo roll, you can't go wrong! We ordered : Sunny Roll, CA Roll, Sumo Rolls (2), Yummy Roll, Miso soup, Japanese Rice and 3 orders of Rock Shrimp. The service is great, atmosphere is casual but elegant. Prices aren't too cheap, but the food is worth it. Sumo Roll is $15. The Rock Shrimp is my favorite appetizer. We also had the pork buns which are little puffs of yummy, soft heavenly flavors!
