When I lived in the area , we would frequent this place at least once a month. It was about a 45 min drive from us but it was worth it . I always came in for my favorite appetizer, firecracker shrimp . Man that stuff is like crack haha , so addicting . My go to for my entree was usually chicken pad Thai , it was always consistent flavor and enjoyed it . My wife would always get the pho . We went one last time before we moved and unfortunately I saw a roach on the floor crawling around . I was quick to grab the waitress and she didn't seem shocked like I was , she simply swept it up and took it to the back where she killed it not in front of guests I'm sure . I was so sad to see that, it kind of ruined my love for this place . I didn't even eat the rest of my food , and the waitress didn't even apologize or give me a discount on the meal for the trouble . I am always pleased when I come here! There are plenty of options for you no matter what you're going for and the serving sizes are usually very generous. My go-to here is chicken pho, but I most recently had the yellow curry and I think that's going to be my new favorite for sure! The Thai iced tea is also a delicious option. They also serve boba for anyone who likes a good boba! The service is always friendly and fast. I always feel like this place is a comfort space for many who come to eat here. I ordered spice level 4 for Tom Kha soup and Pad See Ew and wish it was spicier. I would say it's more of level 2-3 spice. This place is pretty good when it comes to fried rice. I don't like the noodle dishes but they've definitely perfected their fried rice options. I love the pineapple option. However, they could be less stingy with the protein. I usually get beef and shrimp but I usually have 3-4 pieces of shrimp and a few sliced pieces of beef. My assumption is they think all the pineapple chunks will make you think it's meaty when it's not lol. Egg rolls were a bit overcooked but still good. Spice levels ARE PERFECT! Cute little spot. I just moved here and wanted some Thai food and this was the first thing recommended. The staff were all so nice and helpful (and diverse). The restaurant is clean and warm. But the star of the show is the FOOD!!! I wanted to try the top items so I got the Thai sampler and everything was phenomenal with dipping sauces (I'm a dipper). Food would be 5 stars by itself, it was delicious and came out hot and fresh. Pho had good flavor, fried rice and pad thai was good as well. Would be rated 5 stars if there was a notice/sign or anything anywhere alerting customers that there is an automatic gratuity for parties of 5 or more. We looked through the menu, looked for signs outside/inside, and when we asked an employee about it, she mentioned she had no idea about whether or not they did that. And just an FYI, the crispy pork belly appetizer was only 5-6 pieces of thinly sliced pork belly for 12.99, so definitely would just be in the know about that! The food is great and consistent every time. Not a ton of chicken in the chicken pad Thai, but the flavor is so good that it's not a huge deal. The service is pretty good. There have been times where the staff hang out talking rather than checking tables, but I usually don't wait too long for service. My only issue is the cleanliness. When I get wine, the glass has lipstick and water smudges. The tables usually haven't been wiped well. The salt and pepper shakers are very sticky to the touch. I'd still recommend eating here because it's really delicious. However, I wish more attention was given to front of house. I may start ordering my food for pickup from now on until the cleanliness issues are resolved. read more

The food has been pretty good. However, I placed a to go order got home and it was incorrect. I called and was told to come back and pick up a corrected order. I was in formed after I returned that I needed to have the incorrect order with me. After I retrieved it from my car, the lady at the front informed me that her manager needed to see it to verify that I was being honest. The manager verified that the order was wrong and said that they would prepare a corrected order. I told her I would take the incorrect order with me, as I was a little put out that my or was not checked prior to giving it to me. Also, knowing that they were unable to do anything but dispose of it. Most restaurants would not take it back. She told me in order for her prepare the correct order she would have to charge me for it or I would have to leave the incorrect order. She went on to inform me that I should have taken a picture of the food and asked for a credit to be used later. I explained that I was told to come and pick up my corrected order after the lady located my receipt based on the #. After a brief conversion about poor customer service and being inconvenienced with the manager. I decided it would be better to get my money back. I was then informed that would be returned to my credit card in 2 -3 days. Not only was I appalled that she wanted to charge me for fixing their mistake, but that she then took the food back without offering anything for their mistake or my inconvenience. read more

I've been here several times. I love their Pho and I love their curry! But today I went in to try something different and hunny!! I did! It's called khao soi and I had it with chicken. It's a yellow curry broth with a northern style egg noodle topped with scallion, cilantro and mustard greens and topped with crispy egg noodles. You have to try it! The green basil fried rice and the crab fried rice are my favs. The only thing is the spice level is inconsistent. I used to get level 3 and it became too spicy out of nowhere so scaled it back to level 2 and that was sometimes too spicy. And I love spicy. First of all, I'm not here to bash these hard working people. The food was pretty inedible and I'm fully aware that my experience differed from several others. Just like another yelper said on here, the staff is oh so polite and courteous and honestly tried to make everything right about our experience....it just...didn't happen. My husband's curry was half eaten (tasted funny yall and that dude eats EVERYTHING, even garnishes!), only 2 bites were taken from my crab fried rice (inedible, very bland). I'm a regular. This place has been my all-time favorite since moving to Forney. I love the food, but as the years progress, the quality of the food gets lower and lower. I hope they fix it. I am surprised I never left a review of this place as this is where my wife goes and gets food. This place does get quite busy at night time and at lunch and gets good business. I have gotton the beef stew which was wonderful yesterday. They did not get a lot of meat so my wife asked to see if they can get us more and the waitress gave us more than we expected. The rolls where pretty good. There were some other dishes like the orange chicken and pork chop which was disappointing especially for the price. The noodles were good like pad see mow. This place has gone down hill do not know if they had a new chef or new management, but the food has gotton more salty and not as good as if you asked me last month I would have rated it a 4 stars. read more

Thai Pho was recommended to me by a coworker and I am so glas that she did! It was a little bit of a drive, but worth it! I ordered their spicy shrimp appetizer and spicy garlic with chicken as an entree. The entree came with rice and their house salad. The spicy shrimp had cream cheese, crab, and a hint of spice wrapped in fried deliciousness! Pair that with their sweet and sour sauce and you just want to keep eating and eating. But, I stopped and tried, well devoured the salad. Whatever their dressing is should be bottled and sold! So yummy, a nice balance of sweet and spice.
