    Spring roll and duck pho.

Get the pork spring rolls and a giant bowl of Vietnamese soup. It's cheaper than therapy.

    Ox tail pho

The ox tail pho as delicious. I got a big bowl and they offer a lot of meat. We also got a walnut shrimp that was not worth the cost and tasted bland. The location is great with lots of parking spaces. There's a lot of tables and this place won't get full. This isn't really an Asian place so temper your expectations. This is a standard restaurant

Take out order : 2 meats Pho ( meatballs & tripe ) , 3 pork & vegetables egg rolls , and 6 piece salt and pepper chickens wings

Pho is usually my go to comfort food during the cold weather or if I'm not having the best day, for some reason it always seems to make me feel better, regardless of the weather temperatures outside . I was out and about running errands and wanted somewhere not too busy where I could just sit back, enjoy a nice meal and get my thoughts together, when i came across this location. I quickly pulled up google and yelp accounts to see what others had said about it and was interested after a couple of reviews that I had read. I found a small table in the middle of the restaurant. My server approached quickly. For an appetizer I order 3 egg rolls (stuffed with pork and vegetables & served with fish sauce), I also ordered a Thai tea and the pick any 3 meats Pho (I chose Tripe, meat balls & Duck ). This was my first time having duck in my pho and it was different but also delicious. My previous experiences with duck weren't the best , my take has always been that duck is too oily/ greasy to me. Still very much the case this time around. However, the greasiness of the duck paired well in my pho bowl and It was really nice and tender as well. The broth was piping hot and savory. The egg rolls were a 10/10, the Thai tea was 8/10, and the 3 meat pho was a 8/10. This location had some decent foot traffic. There were a few others dinning in but I did notice a lot of people coming in to pick up orders for take out. I enjoyed my meal & service so much, that I returned a couple of days later for take out. This time around I got an order of egg rolls again , their salt and pepper chicken fried extra crispy and the 2 meats Pho ( tripe and meat balls ). Similar to my dine in experience, I enjoyed everything that I ordered. I would have liked my salt and pepper chicken wings to be much more crispier, but they were still yummy. I wasn't too pleased with the price of the wings either . I paid $17 for just 6 wings, that to me felt like a rip off. For that amount it should have came with some fried rice or something. So i probably won't get the wings again. I just know that I'll definitely be a regular at this location during the fall and winter season, and I love that it's only 9 mins away from my house.

    Chicken pho

We came on a Sunday morning right at opening. The place looked welcoming and food came out in a good amount of time. I will say I love pho and I'm big on judging them by the taste of the noodles and broth. I will say that we were not disappointed. I always order the chicken pho with the chicken on the side. Idk I'm weird but my kids eat the chicken. My husband got a beef one. I can't remember which one. And we got the kids pho with the combination fried rice because we can't do pho without it in our family. The kids pho was a good decent size. My son also loves pho and he said he would love to come back again. Which we most definitely will. The only thing I will say is that the combination fried was ok. It wasn't horrible but didn't wow me but my daughter ate all the shrimp and loved them. The place was big so it could accommodate for big parties. Place Was also clean and we enjoyed our visit. We've found our new pho place that's closer to our house since we usually drive to Arlington.

Nam was an amazing host. Since it was my first visit, he took the time to explain the menu and how the dishes are served. I ordered the pork vermicelli, and my husband had the oxtail pho. The food tasted fresh, full of herbs, and well-balanced with a generous portion of meat. He also informed us about the drink specials. The freshly made margarita had me feeling good, and I later tried a basil martini, which was very refreshing. These were their happy hour options until 6pm. The atmosphere was nice and clean, and we truly had a great time.

    Spicy pineapple cocktail

The experience is always a 10 out of 10! Food, drinks and customer service are always great! They're very good at transforming an idea into a reality. Ask for Nam! He's an awesome mixologist! He knows his stuff. 5 star vibes in a small city!

    Crispy Shrimp

Absolutely love this place. Nam offers great custom service and honors customer satisfaction. My go to is Meat Ball and Brisket Pho, Fried Potstickers , and Shaken Beef Plate. He remembers our order and has the best hospitality. He is nice , friendly , and funny. I love Nam and Pho Duc!!!

One of the best pho restaurants we've had. Meats are tender, all vegetables are fresh and juicy. Regular pho is good as usual, Bun Bo hue is above average good, V is different but good. Price wise it's very reasonable too.

The cocktails here are amazing. The lychee martini (not shown), basil martini, espresso martini, and cosmo. Ask for Nam.

Go see Nam at Pho Duc. Our family loves this hidden gem in Midlothian. The family style meals (especially filet mignon with snow peas), pho, and spring rolls are top notch. They have happy hour too. Get the salt n peeper shrimp with a basil or lychee martini. The dumpling soup is also spectacular. My son loves the stuffed chicken wings. Don't miss this place!

I ordered the fried cauliflower appetizers and garlic noodles with a level one spice. The flavor was bursting and the spice was there. The food was made to order and the service was fantastic. ThaiBinh's totally vegan menu looks delicious. Every item has a photo and although I only have appetizer photos, our entrees were just as tasty looking. My favorite edible, though, was the battered and fried eggplant half moons with garlic and green onion ($8). The creamy interior in juxtaposition to the crunchy exterior was dynamite! I could order that again and again. Equally pleasing was the crunchy rice paper wrapped Spring Roll ($8). I'm sure the protein choice makes a little difference from roll to roll. We had the vegan chick'n. It was a good flavor component. We noticed that there are a number of new items (for us). I ordered the spaghetti noodles in garlic sauce with cilantro and I picked Oyster Mushroom as my protein ($16). In retrospect, this is a dish I would take home and add more veggies to. Which is what I did do with the leftover. The portion is generous and delicious; it's just a lot of pasta to mushroom. My husband ordered a side of broccoli ($8) and somehow he also ordered this enormous mound of seasoned brown rice with it. It was too much even for two people. We took most of that home as well. And still, exactly as I remember him, Chef/Owner ThaiBinh Ho is friendly and unassuming. He actually remembered me from the first time I wrote a review and asked permission to take his photo. His food reflects his spiritual philosophy and his joy in sharing it with customers at the Desoto Marketplace. There's oodles of parking here with food trucks outside and the food kiosks inside. There are two areas with tables and chairs if you want to dine in and there's picnic tables outside. Since there are other non-restaurant businesses here, too, you can browse while you wait. Restrooms are in the back. There's even a playground if you have small children. Hours are weekday only, Tuesday through Friday with a break in the afternoon.

Once you step in this restaurant, you know you're in for good Vietnamese food (never mind the awards outside!) The staff was nice and answered our questions - but now the food: Bun cha gio thit nuong - chargilled pork and deep fried shallots were a solid touch - though I think I would've enjoyed seared shallots more. There was plenty of flavor in the meat juice imbueing the dish, fresh vegetables tasted like spring breeze and sweetened fish sauce tied everything together like ka-pow. Shaking tenderloin - the butterfly pea flour rice was purple (a fun gimmick) and woof, the marinated beef tenderloin was a huge success. I really enjoyed how tender and juicy the meat was - I kept chewing to savor the flavor for some time. Cha gio chat - these were served fresh out of the fryer and came in piping hot. Welcoming was warm and attentive, very quick with service. The menu was through a QR code, which is awesome but for more accessibility for maybe those who don't own a phone or have a hard time navigating to get a clearer glance of the menu maybe a short and simple menu to have on the table would of been just great. The ambience was so pretty, I felt like I was in a different city. I got the chicken spring rolls- best top spring rolls I've had. The beef pho-which I can see where the hype is about since I didn't use much hoision sauce or hot sauce. That's a first for me, since I've learned recently that in (Vietnamese tradition) it isnt respectful to put too much extra sauce or seasoning into the pho presented. I will say the meat had a bit more fat than I like. To top it off I ordered the green Thai tea, which has more of a perfume flavor but very settle. The classic yellow one is more milky so if you're someone who enjoys tea drinks you should give it a go!

As uncomfortable as it was, I politely pointed it out to the staff. They took the plate back but then returned with the exact same herbs, bugs still on them. Nothing had been replaced or addressed. After that, the atmosphere shifted and the staff acted noticeably uncomfortable, which made the situation even more awkward. To make matters worse, I later learned from someone who previously worked there that unused pho vegetables from other tables are reportedly reused. Whether that practice is consistent or not, combined with what I personally experienced, it raises serious concerns about food safety and hygiene. I can't in good conscience return, and I hope the restaurant takes these issues seriously. Cleanliness and proper food handling are non-negotiable.

The fish itself tasted fresh, but the batter wasn't fully cooked, leaving the inside gummy, including the rice. It was just okay overall and not what I was expecting from a fried roll. There was old, crusted yellow urine on the back of the toilet seats, and the soap dispenser was missing its spout, making it difficult to wash hands properly. Cleanliness, especially in the bathroom, is very important and needs immediate attention. With better consistency in food preparation and improved cleanliness, this place could be much better.
