Food was delicious and portions were just right. Double thumbs up for the sesame chicken

We visited Wong's Express for the first time Sunday, February 1, 2026. Their menu is HUGE. I wanted orange chicken and could not locate it in the menu. The young woman behind the counter, turned and pointed up to the menu, "showing me" where it was however, I still could not find it. Since I could not find it on the menu, I had no idea what the cost was. It ended up being $15 which was a not so great surprise. The serving however, was pretty large. My husband ordered moo goo gai pan. He said it was pretty good. And again the portion was pretty large. What we didn't understand was why the hot food is served on a plate that feels like it came out of the freezer. This caused the food to cool very quickly, especially the side of the food that was touching the plate. We may go back, however we will ask them to warm our plates first. I ordered it online, took less than thirty minutes for them to cook it and for me to pick it up. The food was amazing, I loved the Lo Mein! The rice tasted like it was missing something but still was amazing! They also filled both boxes to the max, you can see how the rice is packed in there. Definitely recommend! Everything would've been okay but the young lady didn't wanna give us duck sauce like she was counting packets and had a real nasty attitude.. Beef lo mein 6/10 Dumpling 4/10 Crab rangoon 6/10 Egg drop soup 3/10 I was craving Chinese food while staying in the area. This was the closest spot. The beef lo mein had a good flavor along with the texture, large portion. The serving sizes on all their foods were very large. The dumplings were very large BUT the pasta used was very over powering. I could not taste the minced pork filling. The crab rangoon were also a very large portion and the filling had good flavor. The egg drop soup lacked flavor but the sriracha and soy sauce made it bearable. The building had several tables, very bright and constant YouTube videos streaming. read more

My Wife and I were so excited to find Wong's express since we were looking for a long time for a great Chinese place. That's close to home. Our first visit was phenomenal. No issues whatsoever. Food was great service was quick and everybody was super pleasurable. A few weeks later, we decided to go back and get takeout for dinner. I ordered the fried rice with chicken and had two or three bites in and immediately became sick. Went to the doctor turned out. I had food poisoning. I know this is the place that I got sick at since this was the first thing I had eaten that day. Do not recommend unless you plan on being sick and going to the emergency room to find out you have food poisoning from contaminated food. I'm not sure if it was due to food handling procedures. I know the chicken looked like it was cooked all the way through so it must've been some sort of contamination after the fact of the chicken being cooked. We will never visit again. read more

I seen the reviews but gave them the benefit of the doubt. I won't do that again! I ordered 2 sesame chicken w/ fried rice, 2 hot & sour soups, 2 egg rolls and 2 spring rolls. The "sesame chicken" was actually a ton of breading with a little piece of something on the inside? I'll let you decide! The rest was edible so luckily I didn't just order the "sesame chicken." My husband and I couldn't eat it. Also, the woman who answers the phone and is working the front, has absolutely no customer service skills. Great Chinese food and it's very consistent. I go here for pickup at least twice a month.

Lunch prices are wrong they charged over 7 dollars. Food not worth 7 dollars I would not recommend if your hungry over priced small serving

The food was great! My son ate up his veggie lo mein like it was going out of style. I was surprised by the General Tso's Shrimp, a flavor I love but a protein I've never even heard of going with it, but they go so well together that I'm even more surprised it isn't a more common dish. Everything was fast and fresh, so we went ahead and ate in the restaurant. There aren't many tables because they focus on their takeout orders more, but that's perfect for our family. The lobby is quiet and not very decorated, so it is great for families that have sensory issues to contend with or someone who just wants a calm meal. We will be back for sure! read more

Quiet, local gem. Excellent food, made with clearly fresh ingredients ...a wide selection of traditional entrees. Not fancy, but nicely remodeled from a few years ago. I had the Orange chicken and pork-fried rice. The rice alone would have made a great meal. Hubs had the pepper steak with onion and loved it. Both of us had more than we could eat and the bill was under $20 (before the tip). A steady carry-out business shows local appreciation of this place. Highly recommend. read more

Honestly, this is the only Chinese restaurant that I have ever eaten at, and for a good reason; it's very delicious, even though it's rather expensive. They have a wide range of menu options, but personally, I love their Sweet and Sour Chicken; it's to die for. If you have more money to spare, I definitely recommend you try out this restaurant over Panda Express. read more

Wish there was a 1/2 star. Once you get past the man screaming in Asian you quickly realize we should've known the food was going to be as absolutely tasteless as the dirty interior. I suppose they don't expect to have dine-in customers? The chicken is just weird and has a sponge-like texture. Soy sauce doesn't help, it's like brown water. Even the rice was a letdown. I like how some people gave less than 5 stars. Not only is this the only chinese delivery place in Midlothian, but it's actually REALLY good. Their prices for delivery are a bit high, but not much different than Doordash or Uber Eats. 100% recommend - you have no choice, but the food is awesome.
