Nam Khao- crispy fried rice lettuce wrap Egg rolls Pad Thai
    Jennifer J.

Went back for more!! We got the nam-khao, again, haha it's our favorite and we tried the herbal chicken fried rice, which was yummy. The fried chicken pieces were ok. Too tough and not enough flavor, but ok.

I like the sweet & simple interior here. Food is amazing. We ordered yellow curry which was super delicious with chicken and veggies in it. I loved pad see ew which we kept mild in spices. My only disappointment was the papaya salad. First it could have been more thinly shredded and then the spices added were too hot. I think I ordered that spice level but still the taste of the salad wasn't the best. I will surely come again

Love, love, loveee this place! Everything's so hot and fresh! The Thai tea and Pad Kee Maw is delicious and it comes out piping hot! I always receive the best service and their prices are extremely reasonable. 10/10 would recommend.

I wanted to try something new so i decided on Sweet Rice. Friendly staff upon arrival and the food came out pretty quickly. There was a lot of stuff sitting around like napkins and just boxes of stuff....not sure what it was. The food was ok. I got pork egg rolls and herbal chicken fried rice and the kids chicken nuggets. The chicken in the fried rice was breaded and fried which i didn't expect. Not really that great. Glad i tried it but, maybe ill try a different meal if i am ever back here.

GF orange chicken with Jasmine rice!!

This place is now called Lotus Kitchen just FYI. Same owners, new name! It is SO delicious & they have so many GF things to choose from! I tried their GF orange chicken last night & it was seriously so good that I was nervous about it. I have never gotten sick from eating here. Their prices are reasonable & they have such friendly staff. I also love their little green booths! I have heard from my friends that their non GF things are just as awesome!

Everything was soooo good! The food, customer service, and just the experience. I was craving Thai food and this easily became one of my favorite spots. The food came out fast but so fresh & hot. My friend& I couldn't even finish it all, but it made great leftovers.

Very nice staff, modern simple spacious interior design. We ordered to go - 3 different curries, crispy riblet appetizer, pork pad thai, & beef pad se ew. All the curries were pretty good, not very much meat but it's typical. The riblets were tasty, but SMALL portion for $9.99, these are nugget-size, some a little bigger. Both the noodles were dry - the pad se ew was the better one, ok taste but not the best; the pad thai was disappointing, as it was DRY and tasted nothing but sweet. The spicy Thai basil's portion was so small. All the portions were on smaller side for the prices. The spice level was inconsistent. We asked for #1,2, & 3 spice levels. The #2 Thai basil was spicier than #3 yellow curry; the #1 spice-level pineapple curry was also spicier than the #3 yellow curry. THIS IS A PLACE FOR THOSE who prefer MILDER-FLAVORED Thai food just not us). I would go with #0 spice level on safe side & just ask for the dry chili powder on side.

Nice Thai restaurant in Mansfield, all the staff very friendly, great service. The ambiance was bright and not cluttered at all, plenty of seating and open space. We ordered chicken basil pad Thai and chicken green curry (3 of 5 in heat). Our waiter suggested the 2 being "medium" to him, we stuck with the 3, we both can eat a 4, but enjoy a 3. We wanted to order Crab Rangoon but they use imitation crab, and that's a huge fail in my book. Overall, it was good Thai.

I requested none spicy Pad Thai and the spiciest Pad Thai was given to go. They do not check their orders

I love ordering the crab fried rice from this place specifically because you can choose your spice level and they add lots of crab meat in the dish and never takes too long when I order and the restaurant is always not too busy to deliver hot fresh and delicious food. This is a great place to bring friends and family. The atmosphere is present and you can enjoy really good food that is not gonna break the bank.

    Full bowls of curry!

Sweet Rice was perfect for a late lunch, midweek. We had takeout when they first opened over a year ago, but finally dined in their cute little corner space last week, where the customer service was fantastic. The cafe shares a huge parking lot with Market Street, making for an easy walk to other shops along the strip. Every soup and curry we've tried has been excellent: rich, flavorful, and serious with their spice levels. Between 0-5, Level 2 makes for an enjoyable amount of fire. The noodle plates could definitely do with more gravy and a lot less grease. Over all, we're really excited to have a great Thai place close to home and look forward to coming back soon!

Best Thai around - actual spice and good flavor. Definitely our new go to, and as close as we can get to authentic.

It's tucked away and attached to a small Lao grocery store, which honestly made it feel even more authentic. The moment we walked in, it felt like we were about to get a home-cooked meal. We ordered the organ soup with sticky rice, beef lahp, and nam khao, and everything was absolutely delicious. The broth in the organ soup was rich, clean, and deeply flavorful, exactly how it's supposed to taste. The sticky rice came out warm and perfectly chewy. The beef lahp was bright and herbaceous with the right amount of spice and lime, super fresh, and tasted just like what we've had in Laos/at family gatherings. And the nam khao was crispy, tangy, and packed with flavor. You can tell they don't cut corners on ingredients here. What I appreciated most is the authenticity. A lot of other reviewers mentioned that this is one of the few places in Texas where the food tastes "just like home," and I completely agree. Multiple people also mentioned the friendly staff and how the market side carries essentials and hard-to-find Lao/Thai items. We felt the same way, everyone was kind, and the grocery section is a nice bonus for anyone looking for snacks or specialty ingredients. Portions were solid, prices were fair, and the quality was amazing. This is exactly the kind of spot you hope to find when traveling. If you want real Lao food, skip the trendy places and come here instead. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Texas. Highly, highly recommend.

I absolutely love Meat Larb and Papaya Salad, and I also picked up some small sticky rice and a container of cabbage pickle. I remember the gentleman at the counter quoted me around $42.00 for everything, which seemed right based on what I ordered. When I paid by card, I honestly didn't get a clear view of the amount on the terminal, and I was in a bit of a hurry, so I didn't think to ask for a receipt at the time. I totally regret that now! It wasn't until I checked my bank statement a couple days later that I noticed a charge of $282.20 from Overseas Market. As you can imagine, I was pretty surprised, as it's quite a bit more than the $42.00 I was expecting. Spoke with the man by the phone he said I don't have a receipt and refused to work with me. At this point he left me no choice I got back online and did a partial dispute. This type of incident can happen to anyone so, please ask for a receipt and take time to look at it.
